Constraction reviews in Ada, Michigan

We hired Summit Point Roofing to reroofed my parents’ home. They were very thorough in the initial walk-thru, the estimate included pictures of the roof, video of how they do things, any extras that might happen. They were there to roof within two weeks, big crew, worked efficiently and finished in a very timely manner. We were super impressed!

I am a Managing Agent for several condominium communities and Summit Point is the first company that I call when I need work done from a simple leak to a complete roofing project. I have worked with Stephan and the rest of the team, they never have let me down.

I have completed entire roofing projects with a couple of my communities within the past 2 years and I am pleased with the work that they do. They are quick with the job while keeping the work site clean, which is very important in condo communities. When there are roof leaks on older roofs that need attention, they are quick to respond and make the repairs.

Everything about this installation went well, from the communication before to the estimated time of completion, from the quality of work that was performed to the cleanliness of the job site when they were finished. I trust this company and will definitely use them again as we roof our condo association!

Summit did a great job. The site was organized, the crew was respectful, and they were friendly. The quantity and quality of work the performed was very impressive.
Thank-you for replacing my roof and restoring my confidence in the home.

We are very pleased with whole Summit Point process regarding the purchase and installation of our new roof. We purchase this home only a few months ago with the full knowledge that the 24 year old roof was in need of replacement, a process which I had never experienced previously. We obtained quotes from 4 well known and reputable roofing contractors including Summit Point. The quote which we received from Summit Point was not only the most competitive price wise, but also the most detailed. In addition, the Summit point warranty was the best. As an added plus, Summit Point, as a "Michigan Saves" approved contractor, greatly facilitated this easy to navigate loan process which we chose to take advantage of.
The knowledgeable and personable staff of Summit Point that guided us through this entire process were always immediately responsive to our inquiries and needs. They would include our sales representative Jasen Fernsler; Our project manager, Dave Andersen and the project scheduler Stacey Heeren. We therefore recommend Summit Point Roofing without reservation. A photo of our completed new roof is attached.

Great Experience! The crew showed up bright and early at 7am and were all cleaned up and gone by 2pm! The crew was fast, respectful, and cleaned up really well. The onsite project manager took extra care to make sure everything was taken care of properly. After the job was done, tons of pictures were sent over to show the progress of the project and what was done.

The roofing crew was so efficient and they even cleaned up! Rob from Summit answered all my questions and Jasen, Ben & Stacey were right on with communication. I recommend this company highly.

Summit Point was prompt in providing a quote. On site, the crew leader was attentive to the details. They cleaned up well and the roof looks amazing and was completed in a day.

SPR had replaced my roof previously but was having issues with water coming off the roof in an area that didn’t have gutters. They sent someone out and installed a diverter at no charge. Really appreciated it.

Our home inspector recommended Summit and we ended up using them. We were impressed with their work and communication during the process.

The workers did a great job clearing snow from my roof. However, I wish they had brought a ladder tall enough to reach the northwest side of my house. Thanks

Granted our house is smaller, but to do a total tear off and complete roof with some OSB sheath replacement in a 1/2 day and clean up, impressive to say the least. Highly recommend.

I had an excellent experience working with Summit Point to replace the roof on my home. From working with the Sales Team, to the Production Coordinators, to the team that replaced the roof. Communication was clear and timely through out the process.

I highly recommend them for your next roofing project!

We recently had our 45-degree pitch A-Frame roof replaced by Summit Point and are very satisfied with the results. The standard tear-off and replacement included several OSB boards. The OC Black Sable shingles look great in our woodland setting, and the cleanup was thorough the day after installation.

A special commendation goes to the follow-up flashing work on our chimney: After a slight miscommunication on the method of work for installing the flashing, our sales consultant Dan Tresslar ensured the chimney flashing was reworked beautifully. Jon Q., Jon B., and Bert used their masonry skills and rock-chimney expertise to create a flashing that blends our roof seamlessly into our rocky chimney (in the image). It's worth noting, the chimney did not have flashing before and was bumpy/rocky all the way to the shingle face, so there was a considerable amount of effort put into grinding down rocks and placing mortar. I would definitely recommend to anyone with a roofing project involving similar circumstances to ask for these specialists.

I didn’t speak much with the initial roof/shingle installers, but Jon, Bert, and Dan gave us confidence that our new roof will withstand the elements for decades while maintaining its aesthetic appeal.

Compared to other quotes we received I would say the pricing was very reasonable with thoughtful details for each cost.

Sales people were helpful and gave good options. The work crew was great! Hard working efficient and did the work properly. The project manager was available and helpful. So we are very pleased with you all and the new roof. Thanks

Everyone was awesome! Matt K. who did our estimate; Ben H. from the production team; Caleb with billing and of course the crew who came out to replace the roof! They worked on the roof during the day without much fanfare and everything was cleaned up very well at the end of the day!!

Matt and the rest of the team were wonderful. They were honest about my roofing options and put together a highly competitive quote. They scheduled the project quickly and showed up when they said they were going to. Overall a great experience and would use them again.

The Summit Point Roofing team was fast, efficient and detailed. We are 100% satisfied with the Job they did and would recomended them to anyone looking for a roof.

They made getting a new roof about as painless as possible. Explained the process, did appropriate follow up. The team was on time, friendly and professional. And the roof looks amazing. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking to get work done.

Summit Point did a superb job, from excellent communication, very favorable pricing, timely performance, and both personable and professional personal on all fronts. I had a five star experience and highly recommend them. The end product was great!

From my initial phone call inquiry to meeting with (Josh) the sales representative my experience was totally positive. Josh was very knowledgeable about his products and explained all the choices and various qualities with no B.S, no hype, and most important to me no pressure! Josh had my best interest at heart, and what he told me is exactly what I expected and received. The project coordinator (Stacey) kept us informed of what to expect and when it would happen, and that is exactly the way the job progressed.
The day the installation crew showed up (6:30 am) 12 men went right to work protecting our property, our home, our landscape, and immediately we were impressed as they showed up and done the work exactly as we were told it would be.
At the end of the day the old shingles were stripped off, a few bad pieces of plywood replaced, and almost 40 squares of new shingles installed exactly as we were told it would be. The job supervisor and the crew leader were in constant communication with the workers ensuring total quality of workmanship. As a 40-year retired Building Contractor I could not be happier with the entire process on my own home. And I would not hesitate to have Summit Point Roofing work on my home again. I highly recommend them.
