First of all, this is our second time using KB and we came back on our new build because of the excellent service we had in our old house.

This is phase one, and that included design, material selection, and of course installation.

From the start to the finish, Naji and Aki took care of us above and beyond. Spending time with Naji in the design phase was so enjoyable. He spent hours building the plan of our dreams, and was so kind and patient in the process, and he made great suggestions as to what to add, delete, change.

Naji dropped sample material off for us, spray painted lines in the grass to get a concept of how the layout would work and for 2 visual people, my wife and I appreciated that step that others didn't get in the neighborhood who used other landscaping companies.

Communication and updates on our project from Naji and Aki were timely and they kept to their expected completion date.

Now, here's where the separation between KB and other landscaping companies really starts to divide. Day of arrival on site, I had a call from Aki who promised me that he would do everything to exceed my expectations, and that is exactly what they did.

The installation crew was so experienced, our front walkway looks like its out of a magazine. When it came to light selection, they installed a few samples to see what they looked like during the day and night (talk about above and beyond). All the way to clean up when the whole crew didn't leave till the yard (not the walkway which they worked on) looked better than when they came, which included adjusting sprinklers, laying new soil, seed, fertilizer. They even fixed some things they came across that our sod installer missed!

So when it comes to phase two, I'll write another likely A+ positive review, but I will not work with any other landscaping company but the Kahala Brothers, who aim to exceed your expectations, communicate so well, and have some of the best installers I've ever seen. Bravo, and we can't wait for the next project with you and team!

We had KB put in our front walk way, patio, and landscaped our new home 2 years ago. The front walk way started to sag near one corner (2 or 3 pavers at most and was most likely due to the house settling). KB came out, no questions asked, releveled the entire walk way, replaced a arborvitae in my backyard that was dying and weeded my entire yard. no charge no questions just a good company who takes care in their work and our satisfaction. i cannot say enough on how much we enjoy the work they did 2 yrs ago and today.

This whole organization was excellent! Naji came to my home and walked my property with me on two different occasions, making sure he understood my vision and had everything set for his crew. Youssef oversaw the whole project and checked in with me at the beginning, middle and end, ensuring the work his crew completed was in line with my end goals. They both gave suggestions along the way and offered different ideas to choose from. The whole experience felt collaborative and cooperative. Even when I reached out to other members of their team at the main office, I always received a prompt, respectful response with all the information I needed

Fairly priced and quality backyard paving work. We reached out to many landscaping firms Kahala Brothers (KB Landscaping) was the only firm to reach back out to us so we would highlight their responsiveness compared to others. We don't have much to compare price estimates to but for us it cost $7000 for a 10x15 foot patio and a 3x4 landing in front of our shed. The paving work turned out really well and has made the back yard more inviting.

The work in total took 3 days.

As a callout, the paving work and the equipment brought in destroyed a large part of the lawn leaving large mud pits. This was not stressed in our purchasing process --- so for future buyers - we'd recommend negotiating lawn repair as part of the landscaping costs or at the very least recognize that paving work can significantly destroy lawn and be prepared to remedy the lawn following your paving work.

Three weeks ahead of schedule! Amazing crew! They didn’t stop till the job was done. Very courteous and the clean up was amazing. Naji and his brother are excellent communicators,helpful and truly care if your happy throughout the process. I can’t wait to see my hydrangeas in bloom😊

We just had our backyard done by KB brothers and we are beyond satisfied with the results! Naji was the only contractor that mentioned water issues and that’s what sold us; he was very knowledgeable and very professional. Youssef and his team started early, were punctual everyday they were here, and did a lot more than we expected. Clean up was also very efficient and thorough. We will always recommend them for any project!

KB did a fantastic job with our landscaping!

From the very first call, the experience was smooth and professional. They quickly provided a quote, sketched out our garden bed ideas right onsite, and then executed the project beautifully. Even after completion, their follow-up and warranty support were top-notch.

A special shout-out to Arki and his crew. Arki was excellent at communication, attentive to our needs, and kept us updated on the project timeline. He patiently listened to all our requests and even took care of a few plants that didn’t root well—true professionalism!

We feel very lucky to have found KB for our landscaping, and we’ll definitely be coming back next year for our deck project!

We had Naji and Joe built a new patio in our backyard. They have done a great job and exceeded our expectation. Really professional team, detailed in every step they take. Project was completed in a timely manner. We are thankful that we have the pleasure to enjoy the fruit of their great work. Lucky to have them available around this area.

They were great to work with but ultimately our lawn looks terrible after they installed sprinklers and sod. We followed their recommendations to the letter for several years and each year the lawn looks worse than the last. Very disappointing outcome, would not recommend.

KB landscaping was excellent! They are a local company owned by a group of brothers and they are all extremely polite, competent, professional, and efficient. Our backyard was just a bare patch of dirt with weeds, and we wanted to put down sod. They came first to do a free estimation, and helped us to brainstorm and envision what we would like to do. Later they came back with the team to clear away the debris, dig a line around where the sod would go, bring fresh dirt to lay down and level the ground. Then they brought the sod and laid it down and cut it into the right shape and watered it. The whole thing was very fast and efficient, and everyone we dealt with was extremely polite and professional. The pricing of the job was reasonable, especially considering all of the hard work they did. They were also very flexible and willing to accommodate any suggestions we had during the process and answered all of our questions. I should also mention that they were very responsive and easy to get in touch with, which was a bonus when we were trying to get going on our landscaping quickly! I left them a message on their phone, and they called me back pretty quickly. It was a pleasure to work with KB, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone with landscaping needs in the Ann Arbor area!

Great service all around! After a meet and greet, we added my project on the schedule about two weeks out however, I received a call a couple days later indicating that they could get me in a week early. I was very excited.

My project consisted of tilling, new sod, new mulch and adding six new bushes and plants. They came early and got it done in just a few hours. It looks beautiful! I love it. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone , at anytime for any job big or small. They are very reasonable in price and will get it done as quickly as possible. I cannot say enough positive things about KB Landscaping. I was referred to this company via my neighborhood's facebook group and it was one of several that I considered for landscaping my property for my newly constructed home.

I ultimately went with KB because they were able to provide an on-site estimate that was fair, and we never felt pressured into particular options. Everything presented to us was just a suggestion and we felt free to make the final call on what we specifically wanted. Throughout the process, the responsiveness has been amazing and I definitely feel like we got our money's worth.

The team that did the installation was professional, hard-working, and extremely communicative. Providing very thorough updates on the work that had been completed, what work remained, and what that timeline would look like.

We even had a small snafu where we had accidentally had the wrong sprinkler system controller installed. The owner responded to my text about the issue within 5 minutes and by 9am the next morning the crew was there with the correct controller and switched it out in less than an hour.

If you are looking for a professional, no-BS upselling landscaper for an upcoming project, I would recommend KB Landscaping without question.

We had a fantastic experience with KB Landscaping. They built an excellent deck for us, and made some proactive adjustments to improve draining along the way. They likewise went above and beyond to make our fence addition better and provided great advice for us to follow. The crew worked very hard and cleaned up well behind them. Highly recommend KB Landscaping! They put in a patio, deck stairs, and landscaping for us this summer and did an excellent job with all three. They put the patio in within a couple of days, the stairs match the existing deck perfectly, and they did a great job planting trees, plants, and installing lighting. Not only was the workmanship great but also the experience of planning was exceptional. If I could give Kahala Brothers 10 stars, I would! Our experience with Kahala Brothers Landscaping was exceptional from the beginning.

Naji started by coming to our house and listening to all of our requests, providing his own good ideas, and even drove us around the neighborhood so we could point out other landscaping that we liked to get a better idea of what we were looking for. After that, we had another appointment at the office where Naji personally reviewed the drawn-up design with us and allowed us to customize and make any tweaks.

Once the design was set, the team got started on our new sod, patio with firepit, landscaping beds, front steps, and garbage can pad. Their communication throughout the whole project was wonderful. Every day, Aki provided us with the lowdown on what was accomplished, and what the next steps were. They were constantly checking their quality to make sure it they were providing us with the best final project.

This team exceeded our expectations, and I really cannot recommend them highly enough. I appreciate all of Naji, Aki, and the whole crew's hard work. I highly recommend this team!!!

Naji designed and Joe and his team created a total makeover of an old wood deck to a beautiful paver patio in the back of our house. They also created a new entry area at the front of the house. Both areas have new plantings that will enhance the design. These changes provided a much-needed update.

During Naji’s initial consultation visit, he was brimming with ideas for our project. He immediately gave us a quote and followed it up with a written proposal. When the work started, everyone was here when they said they would be each day, and they easily made accommodations for any needed changes. The result exceeded our expectations, and we would highly recommend Joe, Naji, and their team!
