Affordable Plumbing came to our rescue when we found a leak with standing water in our basement. We called them to help us find the problem and within hours they were here and had the problem fixed!

I have had Affordable plumbing in my home before. The first time the plumber assigned was prompt and did a decent job. He did break something in the process that caused a slow leak that took a while to discover. Then i called them again to fix the kitchen sink and an issue with the shower. Second time out fixed the sink fine but claimed to fix the shower, but it wasn't any better. He came out again to attempt to fix the shower was late without a call. Then when we rescheduled after i got the new parts. Britton never showed. The office didn't answer. When i did get someone on the phone they said they would call back in 5 minutes. never returned my call. Customer service is not great.

I called and set up an estimate. I waited the three hours and called once to see what was going on after my window expired. They said the plumber was coming, but thirty minutes later the plumber called and said he was having truck trouble. He said he would come out tomorrow. Again the next day, I waited the three hour window and he never showed. They then gave me a virtual estimate, which was odd. I called and there was some confusion on their end with the virtual estimate, but they were nice and apologetic. I scheduled them to unclog a drain and install a new kitchen sink. However when they came out, they said they would just do the drain and would not do the sink and would charge another fee to come out for the replacement. The plumber was quite rude about it. When I called the main office, they confirmed that he was supposed to do both. But he left without doing the sink and charged me extra for the fee and estimate (that never happened!). I talked to the main office and they said there is nothing that could be done. They would send someone out and charge me another send out fee to get the sink done. I declined as at this point this group has proved themselves unreliable and obviously more focused on upcharging their clients than doing any actual work

Communication was fluid from request for estimate, to scheduling and to assessment of the problem, through to billing. Kirk was more than willing to talk me through the stages of troubleshooting, locate hard-to-find parts and work with me as a customer and not just a job. I never felt like I was in the dark; he always took the time to explain and respond to my messages. We got our shower working properly in a timely fashion and then it was back to business as usual.

These guys are very Professional and very prompt. I would Highly recommend them for all of your plumbing needs. They will be The guys I call from now on anytime I have any plumbing problems. Thanks for all your Help. You’re very much appreciated.

I had an emergency plumbing call late at night and they were the only ones I could find willing to take on the job. They did great, fast work. Had an issue with the plumbing again and they fixed it the next day. They had great customer service and were quick to fix the problems. I would recommend hiring them for your plumbing needs.

Ben took my call and he was super nice, and helpful explaining what was going on with my leaking water heater. He talked me through over the phone on helping me restart the pilot. He was thorough and also gave me estimates on possible fixes that it would need. He offered to come out and help same day! My moment of panic was gone after speaking with Ben. Awesome customer service!

They broke my mirror, counter, door, wall, window frame, and door frame across multiple teams and multiple weeks and never told us about any of these occurrences. We had to hound them for the discussion. They tore down our walls and rebuilt them back without ever repairing the initial cause of leak and then personally blamed us for not telling them to fix the underlying cause they quoted us. These guys will make a show out of working well with insurance companies and they will absolutely fleece the insurance company for costs unrelated to your own costs. They found all sorts of ways to try and nickel and dime us for additional expenses. Their electrician gave us a quote for five times the cost of other companies that we had come in and quote. They took my tools and equipment from my house on two occasions. They took seven weeks to finish a simple job. Also, they had to tear up my walls and floor and would have put them back together WITHOUT FIXING THE ISSUE if I had not stepped in to remind them to do so. Their painter left all sorts of edges and corners completely unpainted. This business has a 5 star sales pitch on a 1 star service at ever single turn. Highly recommend you find another company to do business with. Edit: Oh, and now within the same year I come to find that they never even fixed the issue, I have to hire another company to fix this complete lack of care.

They returned my call at 9pm, got us on their schedule for the next morning & arrived super early to fix our kitchen sink that had suddenly stopped working. They would get a solid 5 stars from me if the charge/the way they bill were different. It was a simple frozen segment in the pipe that took 15 minutes to diagnose & thaw, but they charged the service call fee + 1 hour of service (instead of service call charge applying towards the repair/total), so it cost quite a bit more than I understood it would. Otherwise, 100% happy and would definitely recommend!

Thank you so much for everything. This is one stop shopping from installing a sump pump to a new furnace and then a new hot water heater. All services were done when scheduled and on time and besides having the new unit, you would not have known they were here. Very professional. The communication was great and they have your safety in mind. I cannot say enough about Affordable Plumbing. Highly recommend. I truly appreciate the care that was extended to me and my home.

The office personnel, Kathy, was friendly and very helpful in scheduling service quickly.
The technician, Gabe, called to let me know he was running a little behind but still arrived in a timely fashion.
He was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. He wasted no time in assessing the problem.
He brought in only the equipment necessary for the job. He checked the basement and left NO mess for me to clean!
I thought the price was a little high even with the Senior discount but I am grateful to have my kitchen back.

We were able to get a next day appointment which was great, because our kitchen sink was so leaky it was unusable. Our plumber Ben was a little late but he communicated about it, and he spent extra time here making sure our issues were fixed correctly. Even though the fix took longer than anticipated the final bill was still within the quoted range. We have not had any issues since he came. I will be using this company for our plumbing needs going forward.

Affordable Plumbing answered my call on Christmas Day regarding a backed up drain. They showed up promptly the next morning since it was not an emergency. They addressed the clog and we further determined it may be the actual septic tanks that were full of solids. We had the tanks pumped and Affordable Plumbing returned within a few hours to completely clear the drain. They communicated well through the whole process and pricing was very fair. Trusting people that work in your home is important to me and I will be using Affordable Plumbing in the future. I highly recommend them in all regards.

This company responded promptly and completely to every question and beat others we’ve used on service, price, and response. Best overall service we have received from any company over the years. They also interacted genuinely and not artificially, as if they were on the take.

repair man was professional and knowledgeable but the charge way too much for ten minute fix.

We were in the process of renovating our basement bathroom, as we removing the old vanity a valve broke and started leaking.
We called Affordable Plumbing at 8:00 pm.
They could of sent a pumber for an an emergency call, but the owner actually talked us through on how to fix it.
We were very grateful and will definitely use them for any plumbing needs in the future

Kirk was great! we just bought a house in smyrna and we called about our hot water heater quitting and tripping our breaker. kirk spent hours and cleaned INCHES worth of sediment out of our water heater and replaced our completely blown elements. we appreciated him going above and beyond to save us from having to buy a new water heater as new homeowners! he came back out after the weekend to hook up our dryer and was so quick and efficient. we highly recommend affordable plumbing to anyone in search of an honest and affordable plumbing specialist.
