Very warm people there, great prices. They also all happy to give my puppy a drink of water they made me and my puppy feel very welcome. This place is a must go to, I will be going back!

On Saturday 6/6 we encountered very poor customer service at Harder and Warner (HW).

We called ahead to find out if they had a specific tree and price of that tree because it would be an hour trip for us. Arie answered the phone and was very nice. She said the tree we wanted was in stock and was around $150. So we drove the hour trip. And it was our very first visit to HW.

While there we looked around for gravel, perennials and landscape decor. After choosing those purchases, we went up to the front desk to find a person to help locate the tree...the main reason we went to HW.

Paul came out. Not sure if he was a manager because while walking to find the tree, instead of answering our questions he was constantly talking to other employees on his walkie talkie about other customers rather then dealing with the one in front of him.

We finally found the tree and when we confirmed the price with him he said it was $279. We told him when we called, Arie said it would be around $150. Paul had a "could care less" attitude. He said "oh well that's the price".

No attempt to apologize or show empathy for incorrect info or our wasted trip or time!

We see TV advertisements about Harder/Warner but maybe they should spend their money on customer service training that would turn a disappointed customer into a customer that would have spent upwards of $1000 on that day and more in the future.

Or maybe they don't really care because they have plenty of business and prefer to get a negative review!

We just left the products we already picked to purchase and went to another nursery the same day and spent our money there instead.

Harder and Warner can thank Paul for losing this customer and negative review!

We needed an entire lawn for our newly constructed house and we are so glad we chose Harder and Warner. Brandon Goron did an amazing job putting together a landscape design for us and making the process so easy from start to finish. We are very pleased with the results and will definitely be using them for any future landscaping projects.

My wife and I stopped by to look for fruit trees and were wowed by the wide selection of trees, shrubs, and landscape and decorative supplies. On top of that, the staff is incredibly helpful to ensure your plantings have a great start. We left with two apple trees, two cherry trees and a blueberry bush that are cross pollinating compatible as well as planting fertilizer to get them off to a great start.

From California, I ordered a tree for condolence purposes. The staff was incredibly supportive, kind and helpful.

Management reached out to me after we had a hiccup and was super thoughtful and sincere. Patti, you are a wonderful business owner on all counts and I truly appreciate you reaching out.

Brandon, DJ, Zac and the rest of the team were so great to work with! Very knowledgeable, professional, open to my ideas and extremely responsive. My patio is gorgeous and well worth the money!

I spent the most lovely afternoon with SANDIE WRIGHT using Harder & Warner's We Plan You Plant design service. I consider myself very picky when it comes to choosing plants and have a very specific color palette that I prefer. Sandie could not have nailed my design aesthetic any better.
I loved every single plant and selection she showed me. Some I had been hoping to use and some I had not heard of before. On top of that she was just lovely! It felt like I got to spend the day at the garden center with my super knowledgeable friend. There was zero pressure to purchase anything which makes me feel so loyal to Harder & Warner. Thank you Sandie for your expertise and kindness and thank you Harder & Warner for offering this service!

Excellent experience. Roberta was very helpful and friendly. She was also knowledgeable and helped us pick out the perfect tree.

Ben is THE TOP DESIGNER IN THE AREA and will blow you away with his knowledge and amazing design skills. Our backyard came together better than we could have hoped.

The communication was amazing at each step and they helped us solve several problems that came up during the project that were outside of their scope. I can't recommend this company enough. Just sit back and watch the backyard of your dreams become a reality.

I just bought a new home with a lot of landscaping that I know nothing about. Andrew came out to do an assessment provide recommendations for future plants. He was incredibly knowledgable and considerate of our needs. While we are likely to wait for the spring to do some of our intended landscaping, I know I am going to be a lifelong customer of Harder & Warner because of him. Every time I talk to any employee there, I get outstanding service.

Great design services (free)... one of their designers took their time to design our yard. Very knowledgeable and helpful. The service for pick up seems a little out of sync, however. Overall good service and will be back again.

Edit 2021: perhaps the pick up service was a mishap. Have been back several times. Service and product are top notch.

I pass this place all the time and wondered about this place. Today, I had a great experience. I called prior to going to gather information on their aggregates. The staff is knowledgeable and super helpful. Their store is spacious with many souvenir like clothing, trinkets, and tons of ideas on gardening. They also do landscaping for you or help you gather the right things to self sustain your own project. Their delivery prices for 1-4 yd truck load is the cheapest in the area for smaller projects. If you’re also doing a small project IE pool or small retaining wall, they beat pricing for deliveries over the majority of the competition!

Recently had Harder and Warner build a retaining wall and grade the backyard to prevent water from going into our basement. They did a great job, and actually went above and beyond what was expected. Would definitely use them again if I had another project and would also recommend them to others.

Had a nice gentleman over to our house to discuss some landscaping options. We talked about what we wanted and he asked for a $500 deposit to prove that we were serious. We gave him a check and he said he would have some design options for us in a couple weeks. We're now on week 6 with no quotes so we have asked for our deposit back. When my wife called in to request our deposit be returned she was told that the guy who met with us would have to make the decision on if we get the money back or not. That's not how deposits work. You don't get to keep our money when you cant deliver on your promises. I expect a prompt return of my deposit or I will be forced to take other action.

**Update - Our deposit has been returned and the owners also included a $100 gift card to their store. Thank you very much to the owners for making this right!

Loved the perennial plant and tree selection if thats what you're looking for. Not a ton of annual flower varieties. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff that were willing to help. Plants were also a good size and for a fair price. Now my top place for shrubs and plants!!

I’m always pleased with her knowledge of plants, including new varieties of plants I would never have known about, and helping me pick the right plants for my needs!! Quality & Health of plants here are excellent.

DJ and Zac were incredibly hard workers who did an amazing job on our lakeside bank!!! They are to be commended for working with our designer Brandon, and tackling a very challenging project during one of the hottest times this summer!
