Jeff B. quoted a new generator for us in January. Pricing was comparable to others. There was a mix-up on the installation day with the crew because the job was written up as an interior gas line extension, not exterior black pipe like Jeff quoted. It did add a couple of hours of delay because the crew didn't have the black pipe to install. Kat, their office manager, was extremely helpful and communicative during all phases of the project: email text/phone calls and paperwork. The WIFI setup was a pain, but that's because our router was too far from the unit to connect on installation day. I later corrected that problem with an extender and spent some time with Generac technical phone support on a Saturday and believe it or not, an English-speaking person here in the USA resolved the issue in 10 minutes. One week later, we experienced a DTE outage and within 30 seconds, the new generator kicked on without a hitch. I would highly recommend Buchanan to anyone looking for a Generac system.

The installer did a very good job. He placed it in there. He did his work, even though it started to rain and then stopped. He did a very, very good job. In installing the EV station.

I had no power and called Jeff, he came the next day, on a holidays weekend. While he was unable to fix the transfer switch today, he was able to restore my power and will return on 7/10/22 to repair said switch. For this I will be eternally grateful.

Tried sooo hard to use this company to install a portable generator hook-up. The owner was the reason a purchased the generator. Called 4 times, left numerous messages, asking him to please let me know if he was or was available. I never got any kind of response. So glad I did not have this company install a whole house generator.
