After obtaining 7 quotes to have a mini-split heating/cooling system installed in my home, I chose DHC. They were the only company to offer an alternative set-up (installed exactly how I wanted it). The owners / contractors are very experienced, professional, and extremely personable. Even The City Inspector commented on their clean, quality work. DHC exceeded my expectations!

I recently had Central Air put into my home, which does not have heat vents it has base board heat my home also does not have a basement so the main unit is installed in the attic with the regular cooling unit outside. This means that 4 inch holes had to be cut into the ceiling in every bedroom, two in the living room, one in the kitchen and one in my office to cool my home. I wanted to be sure the contractor doing the work had done this before and could handle the job. After looking at several options from three contractors I decided that Dearborn Heating & Cooling was the best choice.

I was not disappointed. The expertise and professionalism demonstrated by the team at Dearborn Heating & Cooling exceeded my expectations. They were friendly and knowledgeable the job was completed on time, on budget and within the time frame they had quoted me. They took care of all the city permits and inspections and now I have a nice cool home at the flip of a switch. They had to replace the original thermostat because it was defective and that was done quickly and at no additional charge to me.

I would definitely recommend Dearborn Heating & Cooling!

We turned our AC on the first 80° day we had a few weeks ago only to find that it was not cooling the air. While we were on a wait list to have someone come look at it, we didn't mind it since the weather wasn't too bad yet.
The guys that did come out were very kind and respectful and did their job quickly. You can tell they're well trained in what they do.
We will definitely be using this company for any future needs that come up. Thank you!

My daughter recommended DH&C to me several years ago when my furnace went out. He came and found a minor problem and charged a fair price for the few minutes service. I recommended him to a friend who was told he needed a new furnace and he came out and found a minor problem and fixed it.He is SUCH an honest guy! I don't trust anyone else! May he last long and prosper!!

I waited a year before making my review. I wanted to make sure everything would work correctly. It worked Perfectly.
Dearborn Heating - Cooling are first class. They were on time, professional, courteous, and efficient," maybe too efficient", the inspector said to have them come back and seal some joints. I had watched them seal the joints, and I knew they had done a good job. They were very neat and didn't leave gobs on the outside. With such a neat job the inspector thought they had not sealed the joints. I guess he was not used to GOOD craftsmanship. :-)
Would I recommend them? I already have, to everyone that has mentioned needing a furnace or AC unit.

The services I indicated today are a combination of those over the years. I've been using their services for 21 years and am confident you won't find a H/C company in this area that is more honest, competent, and easy to work with than they are. I've never felt like I was being pressured to buy/pay for something I didn't need and, in fact, a few years ago Dave tried his best to help me get another season out of my A/C unit to allow me to hold off on having to buy a new one. That's not the first time he tried to repair something AND try to save me money. Today, for a quick maintenance issue, was no different. When I do need major work done, I don't consider anyone else.

Our outreach ministry, God's Storehouse, has been with Dearborn Heating & Cooling for YEARS. They also installed our furnace. Customer service and their work, is absolutely fantastic! We are grateful!

Dave and his crew are hands down the best in the biz! As a first time home owner, Dave has been so genuine and honest. I fully trust he is taking care of my issues and provide it's at a fair cost. The guys at Dearborn Heating & Cooling are the real deal. They installed one system at my house- their rates were good and the job they did was excellent. So I called them later to install another system, in another building on my property. Again, an excellent job done at a reasonable cost. Any problems with the equipment( no fault of theirs) were immediately addressed by them. Honestly, I haven’t come across a better contractor in my years as a homeowner.

Dearborn Heating and Cooling is possibly the most honest and skilled set of people I've ever had the pleasure of having work at my home. I've had them work on everything from A/C to replacing my furnace today. They are family-owned and run and do their best to accommodate people who need their services. Installations aren't a 30-minute job, and they do tons of them, so if you have an emergency they will often help, but keep in mind you might not be the only emergency! They're so busy because they're so incredible. As long as they're in business, I'll always use their services.

Rick, Dave and Conner are the best! Had the Mitsubishi mini ducts installed at my house and they were very cooperative installing them where it was best for me and cleaned as they went... also helpful with the decision of which unit would be best for my house. Would recommend them to anyone hands up to anyone who is interested. Great family and knowledgeable business..Definitely ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very quality and professional company. Have had everything from AC repair to AC installation to furnace installation done. Dearborn H&C has always been quick to reapond to any call. My furnace installation was was done very well. Ot looks amazing. The guys came in the morning and worked non stop until it was done. When I was given the tour the area was so clean you could eat off it.
I would always recommend Dearborn H&C to anyone. They are one of the few companies out there that still take pride into their work.

This place knows how to take care of their customers! I called this morning and was told they could come out tomorrow to look at our AC. David called later and said they could swing by this afternoon to take a look. A short time later David and Dave showed up and checked the electrical and coolant of the AC unit and determined that everything looked good. It was just that because of the AC unit size and the square footage of the house it was struggling with the high heat and humidity over the weekend! They were here for only about 15 minutes and didn't charge us for the check up! What! That's what I call customer service! Honesty, Integrity, and trustworthy what more can someone ask for in a customer service company!

Also, a little over a year ago they helped me with some unusual furnace issues that were difficult to diagnose. They were able figure out the problem, come up with a reasonable solution where other companies had not. All the work and time they put into make sure out issue was resolved was amazing and the cost of the fix was extremely reasonable!

They came out to inspect and repair my furnace issue, which is working wonderful. The technician was very professional, efficient, effective and courteous. Dearborn Heating & Cooling is a honest company that does not try to push or sell unnecessary work. The technician inspected my furnace situation and laid out the facts with reasonable options. This will be my go to HVAC maintenance and repair company. When it comes to replacing my furnace, I will not hesitate to use Dearborn & Heating. I highly recommend this company.

We had issues with our boiler and I can highly recommend Dearborn Heating & Cooling. They were very knowledgeable regarding the issue, and had extremely reasonable prices compared to the larger companies I have worked with. Easy to contact, easy to schedule, I will definitely be going to them first for any issues in the future.

The absolute best people! They came out to fix a problem with my furnace about a month ago. My furnace stopped running again yesterday and it got really cold in the house. I called them today and they came right out and fixed the problem at no cost! Their customer service is beyond excellent, and that's so hard to come by now a days.

My home is nearly 100 years old and uses a boiler and radiators for heat and a high velocity SpacePak system in the attic for air conditioning. I bought the home in 2020 and it had been flipped, so you know it has its fair share of quirks. Dave and the crew have serviced all aspects of our heating and cooling systems at this point, from smaller boiler issues to much larger AC issues.

The AC system was basically falling apart when I moved in and they helped me get a few extra years out of it. This past spring, we finally pulled the trigger on a complete replacement. Dave came to look everything over again and gave me a few different quotes to choose from. The team dismantled the old system and installed the new one in about a day and a half. Great! But once summer rolled around and I started using the new system, I found that it wasn’t cooling like it should. Uh-oh. Dave and the crew put in countless extra hours and additional labor (at no cost to me) until it was all running correctly.

It turned out it was no problem with their installation (not that I had any doubts) but with some very specific and hard-to-detect issues with the manufacture of the condenser unit (which was brand new from the manufacturer). I was blown away that Dave and his team would put in so much extra effort to get to the bottom of things and that they maintained their usual friendly, professional attitude even though it was a frustrating situation for them working in a hot attic! All along the way they were very communicative and had ideas and plans and back-up plans and kept at it until they solved the problems.

I'm so happy I went with Dearborn Heating and Cooling for this work. I can’t imagine another crew would have had the same commitment to quality or the level of knowledge needed to solve such a specific, unexpected issue. They really stand by their work and won’t stop until the customer is happy, which feels really rare these days. But then, this is a family business that’s been at it for over 80 years, so they know what they’re doing!
