HVAC reviews in Detroit, Michigan

They did a major repair on my heating system two years ago, while my heating/electric company was giving me the runaround. They are professional, friendly, on time, responsive, and do excellent work.

In my opinion, this is the hidden gem in metro Detroit when it comes to furnace and air conditioning. Over the last 10 years, I have worked with several big name companies including those frequent on radio ads. None of them come close to National heating & cooling in terms of excellent customer service at reasonable prices. The folks here are just honest and hard working people and we really need more people like them in this area.

Such a wonderful experience. My appointment was pushed up a week in advance in the middle of there busy season. Rick the technician was punctual professional and knowledgeable about the situation. A1 5stars. You guys ROCK!!!!!

I called for service on a Friday afternoon, was put on a waitlist for Saturday, and my service call was done Saturday morning! Matt, the technician, completed my repair, replaced a part, and educated me a little on the unit. He was super fast, professional, and kind of cute. I will definitely use this company again.

I just want to say, that this is my third time using there services and I appreciate their work. I also like that I can go online and submit a request form and they will get back with you. Thanks for my new thermostat.

We had a brand new furnace and AC put in yesterday and we could not be happier! Dave and AJ were fantastic! Professional, fast, experienced and on-time. I highly recommend National Heating and Cooling for any of your HVAC needs.

Exellent job today by Dave and Sam! Jon gave me a fair price on my new ac system. Dave and Sam arrived extra early at 7:30 am and had my home chilly cold by 3:00pm. Install was neat and my home was clean when they left I would reccomend National to anyone who wants the job done rite. Thanks again guys!!

NH&C has installed AC in 2 houses and maintained AC and heating for both as well. They are professional, friendly and always do a great job caring for our systems. Highly recommended.

I needed an old short hot water heater replaced. An error not due to Paul had tall one. He called office & made all necessary adjustments to install the tall one at no additonal cost from original price quoted!! Paul and his partner did an excellent job, were professional, and Paul reviewed how the heater opertates. They provided great customer service👍😊

My basement flooded and I needed someone to check my furnace. It is so hard to find quality companies who are willing to work in Detroit. Rick came out and did his best to get it working but too many parts had been under water. They came out today to replace it. David, Paul and Jason were on time. Very professional. Cleaned up after themselves. Went above and beyond! Great business located in Detroit.

I had a new furnace installed yesterday and I'm very pleased with the service. Paul and I didn't get his partners name were on time, very professional, and respectful from beginning to the end. Thankful for the Quality furnace and Quality workers, my dog who likes no one even liked them and that says a lot to me, Lol. Very pleased customer, and if future repairs/maintence are needed I will only call this company! ThankYou!

My furnace was making a loud rattling noise. After reading the other reviews on here, I called National. They were able to get someone out the next day. The repair man was very nice, arrived early, figured out the problem, ( warped fan), went and got the part, and now it’s back to running like normal again. I will most definitely call them again if I need heating/cooling repairs, and would recommend them to anyone I know that needs hearing/cooling work done!

Ernie showed up on time and quickly diagnosed my problem,explained all my options,costs and let me decide how I wanted to proceed. Then went to work and thoroughly completed the job. Very happy with his work. Cooling nicely now. Reasonable rates.

I had National come out to look at my baseboard heating in one area of our house because it wasn't working correctly. Upon inspection we couldn't figure out what was wrong but it they turned the boiler up (hotter) and it kicked on. It lasted a couple of days and then again shut off again. I called them back they came out same day replaced a valve and it is now working correctly. Fred the manager was a great help and we spoke a few time about the issue and how to correct it. Thank you for your help.

Showed up on the earlier side of the window they gave us, diagnosed the problem in about 15 minutes, had the part we needed in the truck and had our furnace working again in under an hour and a half. Super satisfied!

I had my furnace replaced by them. They literally quoted me 2k less than another company. My furnace went out around Christmas last year and they accommodated coming out that week. Were in and out, professional, and proficient. I got financing and it was very easy. I’m going to them for all my hvac needs.

National heating and cooling installed a furnace, AC and a water heater in my house a number of years ago and did a great job. They also fixed the AC system at my girlfriends house in less than a day. You guys are great! I recommend them 100%

I'm very thankful that I found National Heating and Cooling. They were able to quote me and install a new air conditioning during the busiest time of the year. Each staff member I interacted with was extremely pleasant and paid a lot of attention to detail. A day after the install I realized that I needed to secure my air conditioner so it wouldn't get stolen. I gave National Heating and Cooling a quick call and the next day they had installed a theft-proof retainer.

They are timely, always show up, and do a phenomenal job. Shout out to Fred for being especially awesome!

Thank God for National. For two seasons, I had issues with my furnace-countless techs from various companies couldn't resolve it. National diagnosed, fixed it, it's been working great ever since! Thank God! Ernie, the service manager is highly skilled and knowledgeable. Great customer service at the office and the field. Can't say enough good things about National. Yes, I recommend National.
