Working with the team is phenomenal. They installed a standby generator at my house and upgraded my service panel. Nicole in the office is the perfect coordinator and Dan and his brother and Russ’s nephew are great on the ground doing excellent work. Dan who was the key point of contact at my house was meticulous in his explanation of the work being done and explained thoroughly everything involved in the process. They took great care with all the details of the installation which included proper placement of the generator, working with Consumers Energy and the gas and electric inspectors and all the necessary work for the installation. They set me up with the app to monitor the generator and showed me the important items I needed to be aware of. They also daily monitor my generator remotely to get ahead of any future issues. I have used Control Electric before and I continue to find their service above and beyond. From the first call from me to schedule the work, to showing up a few minutes early on the day scheduled, to tackling my varied array of projects from a septic system alarm, to Ring cameras, to adding and fixing outlets, etc. I was 750 miles away from the house at time of service. I got a call to let Carson in and for him to walk through the house and outdoors while I was on the phone to walk through everything. A while later another call from Carson to tell me to check the ring cameras as I should be able to see them on my app. And I could. Since Carson (tech) gave me his cell number, i also called him once with some ideas. Carson told me he added a wedge from the ring doorbell kit to angle the camera for a better view. I never asked him to do that, he just wanted it optimal. But wanted to make sure i could see with the cameras and that i liked the angle. Everything completed, house locked, and no mess anywhere. As great as the scheduling was with Nicole up front, she let me know the minute he was done and wanted to know if I had any questions. Within minutes of him leaving. I could see Carson leaving on my ring camera. If you want it done right and want to feel like your business matters to to the team that takes care of you, you have to try the Control Electric experience.

As stated in my first review, Control Electric fixed several problems at my home that other electricians thought were acceptable. They were not acceptable. If you want to hear what could be, call Control Electric.

Excellent Service. Called them after hours in regards to a generator issue that they service for me. Was not expecting an immediate response to my message just wanted to set up a future service call to fix a potential problem. The power had gone out at my house and my newer generator had not fired up. I immediately received a call from Carson and he was willing to come out to my house to assist. I insisted that it wasn't that big of a deal, so instead Carson walked me through trouble shooting the generator over the phone and I got it started. Carson was awesome and I appreciate the quick response to assist me in this situation. Would highly recommend Control Electric.

Control did an excellent job, their pricing is fair and their technicians are friendly and have both great suggestions, but also know how to educate someone on options. We had quite a bit of work done and they left the job site clean.

For me, Control Electric has a very professional group of skilled electricians that do amazing work! I needed a Generac home generator installed for power outages. I went with a unit that can power my entire home in less than 30 seconds after electrical power is cut off and can rely on them for any of our electrical issues. Russ is a very straight forward, no bs kind of guy with unbelievable knowledge. Nicole is also very knowledgeable and super nice to work with. The entire project went very well and my wife and I know we will always have electricity during any power outage. We thank the entire team that made this possible for us.

Excellent Service! We purchased a new Generac generator from Control Electric in December of 2022. Nicole called me to setup an appointment for the annual maintenance. Carson came out on the scheduled date and time and performed the maintenance. He explained what was included. Carson also came out a couple of weeks later to convert our Generac from LP to Natural gas. Likewise, he was on time and did an excellent job. Customer service was exceptional. I was notified when Carson was on his way. A picture was also sent so that I could identify him. Carson was very friendly and very efficient. He informed me of his progess and let me know when the job was complete. We have had annual maintenance on our Generac since we had it installed and never had any issues. Love this company and would highly recommend them.
