Carson and Thomas couldn’t have been nicer. Both very personable, good handshake look in the eyes and they work their tails off in the worst weather we’ve had in a couple of months. Thunderstorms, heavy rain and they did it quickly and efficiently. Glad I chose control electric for my generator. It gives me a Feeling of peace of mind. The home office staff is also incredibly friendly and very efficient. I’ve rarely had the kind of follow up to my queries and need for assistance. Hat tip to Aubree. We purchased a Generac stand-by generator for our home. All of the Control Electric employees were great. They were all courteous and knowledgeable. The sales rep and installers were great at problem solving and came up with creative solutions for where to place the generator and how to connect it. Even though we feel we paid a lot of money, the price we paid was cheaper than several other estimates from other companies.

We had a fantastic experience with Control Electric for our recent generator service. Our technician Jack was prompt, professional and had excellent communication.

When Jack arrived he rang the doorbell to let us know he was on the property before beginning any work, which we really appreciated.

Once the service was complete, Jack called to let us know everything was finished and gave us an update on the overall status of the generator. It gave us great peace of mind knowing exactly where things stood and that everything was running properly.

A family member recently purchased an older home in the Grand Rapids area. Although the home passed the inspection, there were many issues that were unsafe and needed to be addressed by a professional. Being an owner of an out of state electrical contracting company, I found Webb Electric through a recommendation from a local electrical wholesaler. Some of the many issues that were fixed included: installed new 150 amp service, raised overhead power line, installed circuit breaker panel, installed GFI outlets, installed new circuits for clothes dryer and water heater, installed smoke detectors, rewired and installed new lighting in the garage. When they finished, it was a complete transformation and a much safer house from top to bottom. I would highly recommend Webb Electric to anyone needing electrical work done in the Grand Rapids area.

We have had both Ray and Brad out to do work for us on our investment home. They are very responsive, and do terrific work at a fair price. We'll definitely use Webb Electric again on future projects.

During the recent ice storm, we had some major damage to our electrical work outside and were without power. I called Webb and I’m so glad I did. Brad was at our house within a half hour of the phone call and got right to work. He is extremely knowledgeable and gets the job done right. Working with Brad and Randy was a breath of fresh air after a series of failed contractors. The bid was detailed, and the to be expected changes when rewiring a 120 year houses discussed in advance. They know their business for sure. But more importantly they care about your safety. I’ll never forget Brad walking into my home office with a fist full of old wire and letting me know he stopped counting code violations and He was just fixing them as he went along. It was a mystery to him why this old house hadn’t burned to the ground. Highly recommend Brad. He is the best!

I contacted Brad to install a Level 2 ChargePoint Charger at my house. Brad also installed a whole home surge protector at the panel (per the advice of ChargePoint). He also corrected some serious safety issues outdoors such as non-gfci plug exposed to the elements and a 50amp service to a small outdoor light that was a disaster waiting to happen. His quote was for what I assumed was 4 hours based on other electrical work I've had done in the past, and he and his partner were here for 2 hours almost on the dot (4 man hours). Brad will be my go to electrician for any future work that needs to be done.

Had Brad Webb install a Kohler whole house generator and transfer switch and couldn't be happier. After sorting thru all the different generators and getting quotes from (3) different contractors I knew I found the right guy when I met him. Fast service. Great pricing and great work / details. Highly recommend to anyone looking for electrical / generator service. Had him install a whole house surge protector to and same quick service / attention to detail on that as well. Thanks Brad.

Had several new circuits installed for my home remodel (older home, needed updated and properly grounded wiring). They came out to consult with me and then emailed me an estimate then they finished the work early the next week.
They set up my kitchen with a GFI outlet so I can run a range, fridge, and accessory, ran a new circuit for computer equipment, and set up my bathroom with a GFI outlet, lighting, and a switch to control the exhaust fan separately. Brad even cleaned out my bathroom exhaust fan while he was at it.
One reason I recommend them so highly was that Brad was concerned with arranging everything he put in with my finished remodel in mind, measuring and asking where fixtures and appliances would go so that I would have the ideal set up when his work was done. I didn't even plan it that well myself before we talked about it.
They did great work that I am happy with, and they were nice guys to talk to as well. Thanks Webb electric!

I highly recommend Webb Electric! I noticed that two of my basement outlets were tripping a ground fault, and they had a technician out the same day. He found that one outlet was wired backwards, and another wasn’t grounded at all. He also noticed that we had only one surge protector for my expensive computer and recommended a whole house surge protector, which for $200 was a no brained decision. He also noted that Service Professor (HATE that company) did a terrible job when they installed our new electrical panel years ago.

I was very pleased with how prompt Webb was, their competitive pricing, and rapid turnaround on the work they performed. A+

Ray came to our home to address an electrical issue with our kitchen outlets, which he repaired quickly. While at our home he took time to address some other concerns and upon examining our electrical service and panels, identified things that were not up to code that could be potentially dangerous. Brad and Ray then returned to do the necessary upgrades to our panels. They were prompt, efficient, knowledgeable and left the work area clean. We are most grateful for their work and expertise.

Ray and Brad are professional and knowledgeable. They serviced my standby generator and helped move more circuits to be managed by the generator in a power outage. They thought of things I did not even know to ask for and did a great job. They left my home neat and straightened. Highly recommend. Almost hoping for a power outage! :)

I have had the pleasure of working with Brad and Ray through multiple home renovation projects and a commercial office project. These were not simple projects. Yet each time, Brad and his crew did fantastic work. They also stand by their work and do what it takes to make sure it's done right. Brad and Ray were on time and quick to finish a ton of stuff in my house. They installed a ceiling fan on my front porch and replaced the outlet out there in the cold. They fixed my motion light on the garage so it actually works correctly now and there are a few more things that I'm excited to have them come finish once the ground thaws. I also got a few "extras" as well which was greatly appreciated! Would highly recommend them for any electrical issues. When they left there was no evidence of them doing anything - very clean and professional.

As a church administrator at Grand Rapids Baptist Church I have dealt with several electricians in the Grand Rapids area. I can tell you without a shadow of doubt that Brad is the best electrician I have ever met much less worked for our ministry. He’s a down to earth guy that gets the job done and gets it done right. Brad and Raymond from Webb Electric upgraded our electrical panel and generally fixed the mess left by the previous owners of our home. I appreciate that Brad is always upfront about the costs of the various repairs he will make. He and Raymond are extremely responsive and always on time.
