I have not use Butler Electric yet myself but I can tell you they are honest (which is half the battle when finding someone to use). I needed help with an issue at my house and called them. I explained to Brian that a circuit was being tripped any time the microwave was being used. Brian let me know he could come out but that he'd seen issues where the microwave was the cause so he asked me to first plug the microwave into an extension cord and plug it into another circuit to test if it indeed was the microwave causing the circuit to trip. I did this and HE WAS CORRECT.

Brian could have charged me he fee to come to the house and find that exact same thing but he was honest. This saved me money and time and was greatly appreciated.

Bryan and his crew are awesome! We called 4 other companys in the Grand Rapids area, only Bryan and one other place ever got back to us. Bryan with Butler Electric beat there price by over half! We work hectic schedules and had changes on the fly for timing, and Bryan showed up exactly when he said he would. There service was awesome! Got the job done right and fast. We did a panel up grade on an older house, and it looks just as good as it works! They were fair and honest through the whole process and left the house in better condition than when they got here. Highly recomend Bryan and his guys at Butler Electric! We will be using them for All of our electrical needs in the future!!!

I reached out to Butler Electric for assistance with an outlet we were having power issues with. Bryan was extremely responsive and even made suggestions for me to check myself before he came out. Bryan is professional and talked me through everything he was doing and checking. Our problem was resolved very quickly. I would recommend Butler Electric to anyone and will be using them myself in the future for our needs.

Butler Electric has been helping me for 4 years now. Starting with small but technical (European wiring standards) to the electrical for my home remodeling. However this was the biggest job yet- they installed a completely to circuit breaker and upgrade to install a hot tub. The work was done to perfection. Bryan- the owner- is honest, dependable and fair. He is also just darn nice to do business with. Not only does he come highly recommended- no one else will EVER come close! Best electrician EVER!

These guys were a bright spot for us after the tornado. They came the same day we called. Installed the new electrical mast so we could get our power back on. The best part was they didn't try to rip us off by adding extra stuff for an insurance claim like the guys in the yellow vans. They even came back right away after the power was restored and we had some stuff still not working. They got us back to 100%. I recommended them to others who had the same great experience. professional, reasonably priced, and got the job done very quickly. Needed a service upgrade from 60 amp; within a day of calling, Bryan prepared a quote for both a 100 amp and a 200 amp upgrade. I really appreciate how he took the time to explain everything, and talk through the specifics of the two options. When it came time to perform the work, the crew was very efficient and had the entire project done in just a few hours.

I can't speak highly enough about Butler Electric. Rewiring an old house and removing the dangerous, outdated knob and tube is no easy task, unless you hire Butler Electric. They rewired, added lights to circuits, and installed overhead fans in multiple rooms. The work was clean, minimally disruptive to my life, and completely finished in 5 days. I had a contractor refuse my business because they thought it was too much of a hassle. Bryan and his team did extremely high quality work with 0 problems, and his *FREE* quote was spot on. Can't thank them enough.

Great company, Bryan came out to look at some issues in my house a few years ago, was very informative, didn't pressure me to do anything at the time. Hired them recently to do some work upgrading outlets, some wiring & breakers in my home. Christian, Jared & Dom were great to work with. They were on time, informative, diligent in fixing lots of weird problems in my 100 year old house and really great people to boot. They also kept everything as clean as possible, which was greatly appreciated w/ the amount of cutting they had to do into drywall etc. As a homeowner I've had many experiences in the past hiring out contractors that never turn up on time, trash my house and suggest work I don't really need just for extra money. Butler Electric are the opposite, and I'm happy to recommend them to anyone, especially folks w/ older homes that have issues.

Butler Electric did a fantastic job and I would highly recommend them. They upgraded my electrical service to get 220 in my detached garage-plus additional 110 outlets. They worked with me to come up with the best cost effective and safe plan to code. I had a great experience working with Butler Electric to replace my home's electrical service and breaker panel! I was getting my kitchen electrical work inspected by the city, and they let me know that I had to replace my existing service and panel before they would pass my other work. So, I called Bryan with Butler Electric on a Friday night and explained my issue. By Monday morning, he gave me a quote for the work (which was very fair & reasonable) and got everything coordinated with Consumers and the city inspector. The electrician that was sent out (Ed) was super friendly and did a great job installing the new service and panel. Even though some caulking was missed, they came out the very next day and corrected the issue. The whole process was seamless, and I would highly recommend hiring Bryan and his team for any electrical work you need done.
