Had trouble finding someone to return a call until Amp was recommended by a friend. They responded quickly, came out for a quote within a couple days, and completed the work at a reasonable price. Had them back to add some other extras with the same results. Very satisfied with these guys.

An insurance claim is how I ended up as a customer, they were strongly recommended by my friend-and-local-realtor. My experience with AMP Electric was as pleasant as an insurance claim could be, LOL. The office staff was kind and sympathetic to my needs during the quote and scheduling process, and the work was completed (once the building repairs were done by the other contractor who was not as great) quickly and without issues. I continually recommend AMP Electric to anyone looking for that type of contractor.

I have hired Amp Electric three times to perform a variety of electrical services, ranging from panel upgrades to rewiring several rooms. The work was always performed with the upmost professionalism, and quality. I have recommended their services to friends and coworkers who have also enjoyed similar experiences. I cannot recommend this company enough. If you make Amp Electric your "electrical guys" I am confident you will be pleased.

We recently bought an older home (1947) and it needed a lot of work. I had a laundry list of electrical needs and the folks at AMP were great. No job too difficult for them. They were prompt, efficient, and really nice. I definitely plan on using them again and again.

Some time ago Amp Electric did some work adding a breaker to our service and setting up a 50 amp outlet outside. The electrician showed up on time and was professional in all that he did. This is a top shelf company and I recommend them for any kind of electrical work you need done at home. Great job Amp Electric! You are top shelf all the way!!

We wanted to select a company to do annual maintenance on our furnace that is certified with our furnace manufacturer. That’s how we discovered AMP. They were easy to schedule, arrived on time and knowledgeable. They did the work, communicated well and did great work. They are competitive on pricing too! We were very pleased! Highly recommended!

AMP updated our panel (old home but new to us) to comply with Code. They are thoroughly professional and even allowed for multiple estimates as we moved-in, assessed what needed to be done and how quickly, and were very responsive! The master electricians they sent to do the work were top notch. Also, often overlooked, but if you have an appointment for an estimate or work: they will be at your door or sitting in your driveway at 9:00; not 9:01 not 9:05... 6 Stars from us

Had Amp install a second panel for my workshop. They were great. The workmen were respectful of the house as they came in and out (they had to run a line underground and under my deck to reach my shop). The office was easy to work with in getting me scheduled in a timely manner. Nothing but positive things to say about my experience with them.

Excellent service! Zac and Trevor are the most knowledgeable electricians I’ve ever met. They recently added HVAC and I’m sure they will only use the best team! 10/10 recommend! Affordable pricing too. Couldn’t believe the number compared to other companies! Can’t say enough!!

Ended up paying $150 for the technician to press the reset button on my GFI switch. I understand the $70 fee for them to come out, but I feel like a fix that simple should be free or at least not that much. I also kind of expected them to tell me how much it would cost before doing it. I do appreciate the free inspection, which kind of makes up for it. Despite the cost, they have been exceptional when it comes to friendliness and customer service. As a Millennial I love that I can text them haha. I appreciate that they sent a picture and information about Trevor, the technician, before he arrived. Trevor was super nice and very down to earth so I felt comfortable and at ease with him. So, 4 stars because of the cost; I would do 4.6 stars if I could. I will probably use AMP again in the future.

Have worked with Amp on three different projects, and they never disappoint! Customer service is far beyond expectation, and price is always reasonable!! They’ve done two different complete basement finishes plus an outdoor project. We will never use another company. Every single crew member is polite, thorough, and meticulous from start to finish. Amp has done multiple projects for me and I have been very satisfied… from putting in extra electrical outlets to our whole house generator- no problems! I greatly appreciate how quickly they respond to emails and tx messages. And as an extra security measure they will send you a tx the day of service to let you know your technicians name and a bio about them! Highly recommend AMP Electric.

A huge shoutout to AMP Electric! We were so impressed with their friendly, professional service from start to finish. After moving into our new home and learning we live in an area that loses power often (we lost it four times in less than five months), we knew this was a worthy investment. They made the entire process seamless and had our generator set up and ready to go before we ever lost power again. We have soo much peace of mind now, highly recommend!

Fantastic experience from start to finish. I've used Amp numerous times this year for various projects at two properties. The team installed my EV charger quickly and cleanly, and also fixed an electrical issue I had with an outlet. They were on time, fast and efficient in their work, professional, knowledgeable, and clearly took pride in their profession. Joey is a rockstar. The work was done right the first time. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Amp again and highly recommend them for any residential electrical work.

Seth come out in the morning and did an inspection on my garage heater... It was old and basically f...ed... The price for the heater and insulation was reasonable, made appointment for next day... Seth called an hour later and said they could be here in a hour and have it done today if was possible, said yes... They were here in about 45 mins. took them about 2.5 hours... The work was fast for what they had to do and clean, and explained any questions I had... Will recommend them and call for heater or furnace work...

My kitchen outlets weren’t working. Trevor fixed this issue fast after troubleshooting. While they were here Seth offered to take a look at my furnace, because I was smelling natural gas on occasion. The inducer draft motor was bad and malfunctioning not burning the gas properly. Seth ordered a new motor and replaced it the next day. Both of these guys were such a joy to interact with. You can tell they take pride in their work and love to help people. Wonderful customer service! I highly recommend them and am giving them 5 stars. Thanks guys! You’re the best!

I’m a general contractor out of state and when I started building my new home in North Muskegon during Covid, I chose Amp Electric for all of my electrical work. During the quoting phase, I realized the company was much more prepared and organized than the other electricians in the area and I selected them. I’m glad I did! Their employees are very experienced and know what to do on simple or difficult jobs. They were a pleasure to work with. The quality of their work is excellent! I’ve used them for a couple small projects since then with the same results. If you want the best, use Amp. I highly recommend them.

We remodeled our 60 year old cottage and thought the very expensive kitchen or flooring or the siding or windows would be the highlight but I am even more excited by the electrical work done by AMP. I actually take people out and walk around the outside of the cottage to show the amazing work done by AMP. We upgraded the 60 year old 110 volt system (that tripped the breakers every time more than one thing was on) to a 20 amp system and that might have been the best thing we did out of all the improvements. We no longer are concerned about a fire or other electrical issues. When the inspector came by to check the place out and heard that AMP didn’t work he immediately approved it. They are the best and worth every penny.

Contracted this company for my generator install. Flawless install and set up. Only thing I needed to do is contact my natural gas provider to make sure I had proper supply line and meter. Which finding out I needed to upgrade as well.
