Ryan has been my lawncare professional for several years and gets me nothing but compliments on my entire yard. I always look forward to a top notch job well done. He's the best.

If I could submit a review for zero stars I would have. When I initially called to start service I requested they quote me for gutter cleanup when they came to mow my lawn. First, they rescheduled my lawn mowing three times before I messaged the crew to say I needed my lawn mowed sooner instead of it getting pushed back every two days. Then, they didn’t even quote me for gutter cleanup when I asked for it. The second time they came out to mow my lawn, they damaged the fence, which is frustrating because I have a dog and my neighbor ha two dogs. The crew didn’t even make me aware of the damage, my neighbor let me know. I called LawnStarter to try and talk to someone and was connected with someone named Athea, who continuously refused to transfer me to anyone else and said I would only be communicated with through email for the damage. I submitted the damage report through the app as instructed and have not received any status update on my report. I’m greatly disappointed in this service due to the unprofessionalism. Additionally, my grass doesn’t even look good. It’s unevenly cut and looks like it was done haphazardly. I would have fared better to hire a neighbor kid.

EDIT #2 - I received a reply from the owner of the business 10 months after I posted it. They suggested contacting support, which I did twice already (once on 6/7/2019 and again on 6/10/2019). When I contacted support, both times I included screenshots and photos. I did not post this review until after cancelling my service.

EDIT - Looking at my bill, the price for the mow wasn't the whole story. Just like the credit card companies, I see "trust and safety" fees or other things which you would think would be included in the price.

The service was convenient for my first mow. When the person was out to my place I requested a quote to clean up a patch of grass and remove the branches from winter storms. I received a quote and approved it. When the service was completed I found a pile of branches on my driveway.

I wasn't happy, so I disputed that the service was completed. LawnStarter sent a second person out to correct the issue. What I received was a new quote to remove the branches that they originally left.

I contacted customer service, and they said hauling away debris was a separate fee, but neither quote used those words. In fact, the second quote which was specifically to haul away the debris only used the word "remove". I cancelled my service and am looking for another company.

Lawn Starter is easy to use and my pro does a fantastic job- has even stopped to help me carry in groceries! He is fast and takes care of all the details and I appreciate him!

Hiring them was the best money I've spent this year. It costs so little to have time to myself by not having to mow! My yard never looked better. I'm having them come next year, too!

Very convenient service when you need something done quickly. The app made it very easy to move dates or cancel if you need. Gio my pro was always on time and did great work. I will definitely be using the service again.

My Pro, Zac, was truly awesome. He walked the property with me and acknowledged all my concerns. He reassured me that there would be absolutely no issues cutting the grass. He was polite, professional, and friendly at all times. It was a great experience talking with him and his work was fantastic. The yard looks great, he did everything I asked for and more.

Endless nonsense. My first pro showed up close to 8pm on a Sunday night. I was promised a mow, blow, and edging. (Just moved in to a neglected property.) He mowed, but said the edging was extra and would have to come back. I called the next day, and was told they would send him back, but they argued that weedwhacking/trimming is edging! SO much gaslighting. The cancellation agent agreed with me that edging should be done with an edging tool (really?) and agreed to send someone else to complete it. Same result. An edger was not used. Meanwhile, I continue to get notifications and texts about estimates and messages in the app for me to see, but they aren't actually there. I've never seen a written number anywhere for the weeding estimate they claim has been completed. The "app" is just a way for them to capture my information and provide me none. I'm so frustrated at the waste of time and scammery of this company!!!

Great and quickly address all concerns. Reached out to them as wanting to get lawn maintenance they were quick to respond and got me on the schedule. Also did an amazing job with my lawn maintenance thanks Valentin

Used the Lawn Starter app for my
lawn care needs and it was a very simple process. Inclement weather caused a delay
but the vendor (Jordan) communicated the eta via the app. He did a good job with my lawn. I’ll be using them for the duration of the spring and summer and the price is affordable

I contacted LawnStarter when my husband was hospitalized. I needed help quickly and they didn’t disappoint. They sent Valentin, one of their lawn professionals. He did an outstanding job. I whole heartedly recommend Valentin and LawnStarter. Each visit, the grass is mowed, the edging is freshened up and the entire yard is left clean and tidy. All at a very reasonable price. We are so happy with Valentin that we continued the service after my husband recovered fully.

Cuts by Chuck is highly recommended! I just completed my second season with Charles through LawnStarter. I am very happy with the work he does every time! He’s attentive to detail, has great communication, and always professional. He has been mowing my lawn and taken care of a TON of leaves for me. Not an easy job but he gets it done and he gets it right. Thank you Cuts By Chuck! I’m a very satisfied customer. Looking forward to my lawn being beautiful in the years to come.

I'm so lucky to have found LawnStarter and especially lucky that Valentin, the BEST LawnStarter pro, was the one who worked to keep my lawn in top condition throughout the entire season. I cannot recommend his services enough! He is very professional, easy to work with, and always makes sure everything is to my liking.

I couldn't be happier with the lawn service I received! The crew was incredibly friendly and professional from start to finish. They worked quickly and efficiently without cutting any corners — my yard looks absolutely pristine. What really stood out was the edging around the lawn. It's sharp, clean, and precise — like something out of a magazine. Highly recommend to anyone looking for top-notch lawn care!

Zach and his team with Lawn Care + did an absolutely amazing job! Not only did they pick up the job last minute after another pro flaked on me repeatedly, he and his partner were fast, efficient, and friendly. I couldn’t have asked for a better job to be done on my lawn and yard clean-up. I would definitely hire them again in a second!

Super helpful and able to take a large amount of items including bigger things which is so nice if you aren’t able to lift yourself.

Journey Junk Removal and Hauling did a fantastic job in helping us following a basement flood/back-up. I texted Derek on a Wednesday night and by Thursday at 9am he was here and already working. When he realized he needed backup support on carpet removal, he called a buddy who was able to help immediately. They took soaked carpet, old electronics, furniture and paint. Derek was a reference from a friend. I understand why. I strongly recommend his company. Oh, and great communicator.
