After cutting down some trees on our own, my husband and I needed the stumps removed. Our plan was to clear out the wooded area in our lot, even it out, and grass it for a larger yard. After attempting to remove one stump ourselves, we decided we needed some help. I do not regret contacting Great Lakes Tree Service at all. Josh was extremely pleasant to work with; very responsive to emails, prompt, and quick to let us know when a change was needed in scheduling. They came out and looked at our property the day of to quote the job and my husband and I were very pleased with the affordability of the quote. I appreciated how up front they were with their expectations and how they charge. We were even more thrilled with the work that was done. Roughly 18 stumps were removed and we are now able to move forward with evening out and grassing our yard. We have some larger trees over our home that eventually will need taken out, or trimmed back. After seeing the results of their work from this job, we will not hesitate to contact them again for our future tree related needs.

Had to have one large old damaged tree and one large stump removed including grinding down the stumps and removing the shavings. Got quotes from three local companies. Great Lakes was very quick to respond and the quote was certainly reasonable. Everyone from the office staff to the crew were wonderful to work with, patiently answered my many questions, got the work done quickly and efficiently, and cleaned up my lawn more than I would have expected. The quote and payment process was very easy. I would not hesitate to use Great Lakes Tree Service in future and will certainly recommend to anyone looking for a great tree removal service!

Thank y’all for your efforts! The whole day went great! The guys arrived a bit before 8.30am and, after walking the property to get a plan together, they proceeded to attack the job with efficiency and vigor. The radio headsets used really helped to enhance the safety (which is important for this type of work) and the other equipment was modern and appropriate. All round, there were a lot of trees to remove and that was done to perfection right down to the stump-grinding. The trimming of several big trees was also completed and they look fantastic.

I hired Great Lakes Tree Service primarily because they responded almost immediately. Abby, the office person, is polite and professional. I asked for pricing breakdown for two trees and stump removal. We are very happy with the work they did. I would definitely use them for future needs. I also contacted another tree service. Great Lakes Tree Service is the ultimate professional tree service company. They removed nearly 30 large oak trees from my residential yard in one day and left the lawn in almost better shape than when they arrived. They had all the right equipment and expertise to remove the trees and grind the stumps without damage to house, septic or sprinkler system!! They did an excellent job of cleanup after the removals. This group is awesome - and very competitive in their pricing. I would highly recommend this team to anyone needing professional tree services. You won't be disappointed!!

We comparison shopped and they not only have the best price (by far), they also do great work, communicate with you, don’t make you wait for months to schedule, leave their work area cleaned and have a friendly staff. Outstanding experience - Great value. Obtained multiple quotes for removing seven trees in my fenced-in backyard. Great Lakes was the most competitive. Their communication was excellent. The trees were removed quickly and the crew cleaned everything up. Great job all around.

Great Lakes Tree Service came and took out our huge oak tree. The removal was the exact cost of the estimate, and they came within a week of giving us the estimate. The whole crew was polite and professional and they did a great job avoiding the wires and working with our embankment wall. They were also very fast -- took out our tree and a neighbor's tree in one morning. Very easy to communicate with. I highly recommend them!

This company is very personable and professional. They were good about emailing me before the day of the appointment. Their equipment is in great shape and able to handle large jobs as I needed to remove a very large willow tree. The crew wore helmets and had microphones in them to communicate which I found interesting and smart for safety. I would highly recommend them. They will come out and do a free estimate so you can make sure it's something you want to do.

Needed a stump ground down called them lady was very nice I asked if I could get the stump ground down in the next couple of days she said should not be a problem. She gave me a quote and I accepted the quote. 3 days went by and I called and asked when they where coming out. She told me by the end of the week. After no one showed up after that Saturday I was kinda confused. Texted them Monday and they say they would be out Wednesday and I was there second stop. 4:30 Wednesday still nothing so I texted them asking if they where still coming out and I got a quick response saying they where behind. When they did finally come out they guy I’m sorry I forgot his name did an amazing job and was very nice. Did a great job and he was very professional. Waited almost 2 weeks got no invoice til I finally texted them and they said they got my email wrong. 3 stars only for the guy that did the work.

This was our first-time using GLTS and we were blown away by their promptness, throughness and perfection at which they ground all of our stumps!
They were HUGE stumps and they got them ground down to nothing!!

Just had major tree removal and tree trimming in my backyard. After visiting first and offering an estimate, all work was completed on time and exactly as requested. Then to top it off the yard cleanup was super. Highly recommend!

Great Lakes did an awesome job at the tree work on our house in Forest Hills. We had three trees that needed a “haircut“ stumps to ground and miscellaneous tree work they were efficient on time weather permitting and did a great job. My parents were especially impressed with the cleanup And professionalism definitely recommend in the future
