Very unprofessional. They were not able to handle basic tasks, missed scheduled appointments and seem to have questionable business practices.

Have used several pool maintenance companies in the past three years, kept switching until I found a company that does the job right. I've used Hot Water DR. now for the past 3 Spring and Winter turn-up/down maintenance cycles, 5 -stars all the way.

We used "Hot Water Doctor" some 12 years ago to replace a pump that died in our DreamMaker Spa. After several trips, he finally got it right. So, when we had trouble recently with our motor again, we contacted our last service company for assistance. This time around though, my husband was basically blown off--this guy didn't return calls and in no way gave us the impression that he is a professional. We would never recommend this company.

I called Hotwater Dr. the first week of December to schedule an appointment to get my hot tub repaired. They scheduled me three weeks out for Monday December 28th, which is today. After I put it on my calendar, scheduled to take the day off from work, there was no email follow up, nor any phone call prior to 8:30 this morning. I called THEM this morning to make sure that I was on their schedule. The person that answered the phone said that I was indeed on the schedule for today and that I would receive a text when someone was on their way. At 4:41pm I called the office and I just got their answering machine saying that they were out of the office or on a service call. It is now 8:15pm. Still no call nor follow up, nor service call. This is very poor communication for a business! It is said that if you do good work, the client will share this with a couple of their friends. It is also said, if you do a lousy job, they will tell all of their friends! I have 720 Facebook friends. I will most certainly share my story with them! A phone call literally takes 30 seconds. I guess they are way to busy to even follow up!
To their credit they called 3 times the following day, came out and diagnosed it for free, and also apologized for their screw up.
I purchased the part from Amazon & he said he would come back and install it free.

had them out to fix a leaking hot tub before i left for florida, repair woman said she would swing by the next day to see if water dropped, I asked what that would cost and was told there would be no charge...but was charged another $75, and was informed their repair woman was "new" and had only been "trained" a couple weeks ago and essentially didn't know what she was talking about. Had i been told there would be an additional service charge, i would have looked at the water level myself ! Upon returning from florida found it still leaked, when i contacted them to fix it, was told that with limited staff and pool openings coming up i should schedule asap, i contacted a week or so later to schedule, was told "they were sorry i was having leak issues, but unfortunately they only do MINOR leaks" ?? But was invited to "let them know if they could assist with any other needs" Jill signed off with "best of luck"...it would seem they were concerned their previous "repair' was continuing to be the issue, and lacked the professionalism to even investigate why i continued to have a leak, nor acknowledge the possibility their 1st attempt was slipshod and without looking at what the problem was, already knew they lacked the skills to FIX the leak, as they had already tried a MINOR repair !!

Cannot recommend these guys enough! They came out quickly to diagnose the issues with my hot tub, put together a quote for the many issues I needed repaired/replaced, ordered the materials, and came back out out to install everything! Overall, it was about a one week process which is simply impressive for this line of business and at this time of year (very busy with winterization schedules).

Between my hot tub being very old and the sheer number of issues that needed their attention (new pumps, new heater, new main motherboard, etc.), they were working here from about 10:30am-8:30pm non-stop. I felt awful because they didn't even take a break to eat lunch or anything.. I offered them a beer but, hard working professionals as they are, they rejected my offer LOL

Thank you guys so much! I will absolutely be coming back to you if ever I need assistance with my hot tub (and I respect you if you choose not to answer my call haha)

Highly recommend Hotwater DRX to anyone needing service on their pool/hot tub equipment. Very prompt service, Extremely nice professional on the phone, kept me informed of costs for every step of the repair, and very quickly and professionally completed the repair on our Hot Tub. I will call them for all my Spa needs in the future!

We were SO excited to get our new Hot Tub and looking forward to using it all the time! Unfortunately we quickly realized that our hectic schedules with our business, taking care of the kids, and traveling didn't necessarily allow us to give the time and attention our hot tub needed. The majority of the time we wanted to use it we'd open it and find green water, smelly water, or it would foam up so bad we felt like we dumped an entire super size can of bubbles into the tub. We heard about Hotwater DRX and gave them a try and have had a hot tub "at the ready" ever since! We've just passed our 18 month point of service and there has not been 1 time that we've been unable to enjoy our hot tub! Thank you Lindsey and team! You guys are the best!

    Great service, very reasonable!

I had a problem with my hot tub, and wasn't getting any heat. After being told by Zager's service team it would be 1 month, regardless that my tub would probably freeze and that the service actually wasn't their company like I was told when I purchased my spa - Hotwater Dr, worked me in!

They also had a packed book, but was able to get me in within a week of my call. I hadn't used them before, and had a great experience. Very reasonable pricing, wouldn't hesitate referring business their way! Great local business!! thank you Hotwater Dr!!!

If you want the absolute best in customer service, repair, and maintenance you have found the right team. This team was fast to respond, friendly to work with, very knowledgeable, and tried to save me money at every turn. I now use them for maintaining my tub and am resting assured knowing this team has my back! I cannot say enough good things about them!

Not a terrible experience hiring Hotwater DRX, but also not the greatest. We hired them back in June to basically turn our swamp of a pool to being usable. New home and pool owners here. The pool was filled with leaves, debris, infested with dead insects and loads of algae. They were able to clean it fully and treat it for use within a week which we were very grateful for. Hired them again for July to do 2x monthly cleaning and maintenance. Our initial quote for the month was $225. Fine. Received our invoice end of the month for roughly $415 and change. Mind you that the maintenance visits included an hour of labor so that would be 2 hours of labor for the 2x per month. Somehow we accrued $190 of extra charges and I know for a fact that they did not do 2 hours of labor as we have backyard cameras to monitor.

Each time they texted me that they were coming out to clean, it looked like nothing was done. The sides of the pool that were reported to be scrubbed were not done. We were told that the bottom of the pool was staining, but in fact, it was algae when we jumped in to scrub it ourselves. Upon doing so, we contacted them to try and hire them for a second month to help with clearing the algae. We did not hire them again because the text exchange between myself and the manager was quite passively rude and very condescending. Our end of month invoice from the manager read, “Should of been more for labor. This is the last time we can do any discounts on labor!” I never once asked for a discount. If they did that on their own accord, great, but again, never asked for a discount and made it sound as if I was begging for a deal. Long story short, we went to a pool store and got much more knowledge and information from them. If you hire this company, watch out for the labor charges. I would recommend learning and doing pool cleaning and treating yourself. Save yourself some money on “labor”.
