1st class communication and service. Mike is extremely knowledgeable, approachable, and reasonable. Highly recommended!

This place is amazing besides the old hag in the dump yard booth. Literally the rudest person i have encountered in my life she should be in a home not out in public.

I don't like the trash side of the place. Rude people and watch out for nails!
On the other hand, love the scrap side of the place. You can find almost anything you need in there.

Great place to take all your waste, yard and home, anything. Prices and service are always spot on. Great people to do business with.

Stopped by today a bit last minute and everyone I interacted with was very kind and the price was very reasonable!

Most of the inventory is near garbage. The inventory is disorganized. The prices are too high. The help is unprofessional. I always leave angry, but the strange allure of this place somehow keeps me coming back without actually ever buying anything.

Great place to dump your stuff you no longer need and regular trash service can't take. From beds, couches, old wood retaining walls, ovens, etc.

I was looking for pricing on their website and found their rate sheet very detailed and well organized. Pricing was consistent based on the hazard-ness of the item.

Great place to drop off your old junk. It's important to put a tarp over your stuff that you're dropping off (correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure, they charge a little extra if you don't tarp it)

Not open on Sunday like it says here.

When it’s open, it’s easy, though you may have a long wait and it’s up to you to unload obviously.

This was my 3rd visit and the woman at the transfer station is horribly rude and pissy each time. I remain polite. Other visitors have mentioned the same experience. I will use the Rockford transfer station from now on and Pitsch will never get my business again. 3 strikes and you're out!

Not impressed with what they had on hand. Seemed more like a run down ReStore type place. Only architectural salvage I saw was stained glass windows, lots. Disappointing.

    Never experienced this before.
Be careful. Glass and nails and broken items.
    Fast and efficient.
Woman at scale, helpful and kind.
Please follow their rules and all will go smoothly.

Reliable dump site always open. Only reason I don't give 5 stars is because they are always packed. They need to rearrange the yard and add a second scale.

TOTAL RIP OFF !!! NON CONTRACTORS BE AWARE!!!Charged me $30 to dump 2 wooden chairs and 4 dresser drawers. Upon complaining in main office manager claims that minimum $30 fee is posted at gate. Although upon second inspection, Price at gate reads "$10 fee for untarped loads." If I had known this would have cost me $30 I'd have wood chipped this stuff with my own god given teeth. All these salvage guys are so shady and scummy... Thanks Pitsch! Never coming back here again.

Didn't know they took trash there. Make sure you tarp your trailer. A ten dollar fine will be added to your bill. City law, must have tarp over trailers with trash on them.

Friendly faces but the layout is pretty ridiculous. No room to back in and there is one way to get in and out. Plan ahead when going here as it may take a while. Avoid bringing yard waste to this location as the other location just a few miles away is where they end up having to bring it when it gets too full.

Just what you would expect from a garbage company. Hours on the net are incorrect. Instead of changing them for the holiday, they went for the ole “gone fishing” style sign on the door. It’s a classy tech-less sign though...pretty sure they put their top shelf ops team on it. Well done garbage company. Why would we expect anything more than half-assed?

They need separate weighing scales, one going in and one going out. Just like padnos. Would move the lines a lot faster and bring in more money. The long line can waist someone’s day if they have plans. Honestly 2 weighing stations would be better.

Only here to deliver a machine. Guys were very accommodating and great to work with. Their operation looks like it runs smoothly and efficiently for the space they have to work with.
