Very happy and relieved after dealing with them. Attempted to help me over the the phone with my Lenox heating unit. Needed a visit to fix the issue though; he explained what he was doing and how to avoid the issue in the future. Was open to other questions to help me out as well - as a novice this was greatly appreciated. Would recommend and will call again if needed.
Jim and Dan rewired and fixed quite a bit of old wiring in my house and did an absolutely phenomenal job! They explained anything I had questions about and asked my input on absolutely everything as issues were discovered. They left everything cleaner than they found it and were very respectful of my space. I also want to mention that I have a toddler and they were very cognizant of their music choices and volume and were very respectful towards each other as well. It’s not uncommon to hear people swearing and yelling at each other when working on things and it was very nice and refreshing to hear people say please and thank you and not raise their voices when they were frustrated. 10/10 recommend!
My boiler shows the battle scars of those who have come before. Stickers from 5 fairly well-known companies that have shown up, thrown our money at the problems and never effectively solved the lingering problem of air entrained in the system and making all kinds of bothersome noise. We chanced across a positive review online for Jim and endeavored to give him a shot. He arrived promptly from across town, and got right to work and discovered that the ineptitude of the 3 previous attempts by another company left our system in serious peril for permanent damage. In short order he diagnosed a fairly simple issue and adjusted a pressure reducing valve to optimize water feed into the system. Our boiler has never operated so quietly for a sustained period of time. I’ll never call anyone else again. The price was fair and the repair was executed honestly, ethically, and without the need of any parts at all. Just old fashioned expertise.
Called Jim after finding his phone number on google. Was having a small issue with my furnace, walked me through trouble shooting while on the phone for an easy fix, free of charge. Did I mention it was a Saturday morning?! 100% would recommend!
I was without air for several days and could not figure out what was wrong. Jim was able to come out and troubleshoot the issue very quickly and had my air up and running in no time. I would highly recommend Performance HCE for any HVAC needs, and will be using them again going forward.
Jim repaired work another contractor failed at. Absolutely amazing work. We also had Jim service the furnace at the same time. Prob the best contractor I have ever used. THANKS!
