Very happy and relieved after dealing with them. Attempted to help me over the the phone with my Lenox heating unit. Needed a visit to fix the issue though; he explained what he was doing and how to avoid the issue in the future. Was open to other questions to help me out as well - as a novice this was greatly appreciated. Would recommend and will call again if needed.

Jim and Dan rewired and fixed quite a bit of old wiring in my house and did an absolutely phenomenal job! They explained anything I had questions about and asked my input on absolutely everything as issues were discovered. They left everything cleaner than they found it and were very respectful of my space. I also want to mention that I have a toddler and they were very cognizant of their music choices and volume and were very respectful towards each other as well. It’s not uncommon to hear people swearing and yelling at each other when working on things and it was very nice and refreshing to hear people say please and thank you and not raise their voices when they were frustrated. 10/10 recommend!

My boiler shows the battle scars of those who have come before. Stickers from 5 fairly well-known companies that have shown up, thrown our money at the problems and never effectively solved the lingering problem of air entrained in the system and making all kinds of bothersome noise. We chanced across a positive review online for Jim and endeavored to give him a shot. He arrived promptly from across town, and got right to work and discovered that the ineptitude of the 3 previous attempts by another company left our system in serious peril for permanent damage. In short order he diagnosed a fairly simple issue and adjusted a pressure reducing valve to optimize water feed into the system. Our boiler has never operated so quietly for a sustained period of time. I’ll never call anyone else again. The price was fair and the repair was executed honestly, ethically, and without the need of any parts at all. Just old fashioned expertise.

Called Jim after finding his phone number on google. Was having a small issue with my furnace, walked me through trouble shooting while on the phone for an easy fix, free of charge. Did I mention it was a Saturday morning?! 100% would recommend!

I was without air for several days and could not figure out what was wrong. Jim was able to come out and troubleshoot the issue very quickly and had my air up and running in no time. I would highly recommend Performance HCE for any HVAC needs, and will be using them again going forward.

Jim and his company are great. They installed a Generator for us and its works fantastic. They are professional and we would recommend them to anyone for any heating, cooling or electrical project.

My AC went out on the 4th of July and when I called Jim said he would be out first thing the next morning. He was earlier then he said he would be and was very efficient and through in checking my unit. The AC was fixed in no time. Jim was very professional and helpful. I would definitely use this company not only because he is local, but also because he was extremely friendly.

I have called Jim a few times over the years, he’s honest, trustworthy, professional and always keeps you informed on the issue(s) your dealing with, and always tries to help resolve problems with simplest solutions first. Not just trying to get you to buy new equipment and such. I wouldn’t call anyone else for my HVAC or electrical needs. Great guy, great service. Always should be your first call for your service needs.

Jim came out to look at our noisy boiler. Turns out there wasn't a major issue and just some air in the system. He also gave some us some great advice on how to maintain the system ourselves. Would highly recommend!

I called Jim after a Google search because my heat stopped working on my boiler. At that time it was still cold out, so he was able to temporarily fix the issue so that we would have heat. He diagnosed the problem, and gave me options on a solution, as well as approximate cost. I felt he was very honest, and reasonable with cost. I would not hesitate to use his services again!

Jim has come and fixed my boiler system in my house and rewired electrical for a remodel. Both experiences were pleasant and the job was done perfect, efficiently, affordable and he always showed up on time. Could not recommend his work enough.

I am so happy with my experience working with Jim during the past 24 hours, yesterday after coming home from work I could hear leaking and hot steaming water spraying on and off under my boiler and into my crawl space. I spoke with Jim who guided me on what to do and check to alleviate the pressure in my boiler from 30+. He even called nearby department stores to check stock on parts that would be a quick fix and even had a store hold an expansion tank for me...This morning he called to ensure that all was well and good, something I can't say I have ever experienced before working with a company. The service is unmatched, I have heat and no leak, pressure was reduced to 12-15 and I learned a thing or two about boilers.

Our AC unit stopped working. Performance was able to come to the home to fix it before any other company in the area we called. Jim was extremely friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He had the unit working again just a few minutes after arriving and even offered some tips for ensuring the longevity of the unit. I wont call anyone else if we need help with HVAC in the future.

Jim came out and checked our furnace because it was not working. This is after I was told by three contractors I needed a brand new furnace. He problem solved and determined that it was a sensor. Heater is back on and running. We were going to buy a whole new furnace. Jim knew what he was doing and figured everything out saving us thousands of dollars. I highly recommend him and the company.

Jim is the best! We tried to be proactive and have our a.c. unit looked at back in April and had coolant put in from another local company. The a.c. kept acting up and this local company insisted it was our thermostat or something wrong with our unit. We called Jim and he came out two days later released some of the coolant because the local company over filled us. Since then our a.c. has been working great! Awesome customer service and follow up! Would recommend this company hands down!

Called this morning because my furnace wouldn't click on. I don't know if I got the guy's name, but he talked me through the issue for over 20 minutes. Very helpful and very knowledgeable. Thank You.
