Fort St. Plumbing is the BEST; the guys you want to call. I wish I can rate them higher than five stars. I messed up with my DIY plumbing, called my "reliable" plumber for days to help me out. But he's "just picking up some stuff and will come soon". I called FSP and Joe showed up, I got the most prompt service. Thx FSP!!!

Jerry and Jackson came out for a toilet replacement. They did an excellent job, very quickly, and for a reasonable price. Highly recommend

First of all we made an appointment for them to come over and give us an estimate. They completely 'forgot" and did not call us. Then, we made an appointment for the actual job for 8:30 am. Again, no phone call, and just showed up at 11:30. They said they were " running behind". I call BS. Someone is dropping the ball over there.

Beware of this place. They just took advantage of my 88 year old parents. Quoted them a price of $250 to snake out their stink pipe. Then after the work was done told then it was $350 because they had to get on the roof. My parents told them they would need to get on the roof when they got the quote.

Excellent customer service! Our hot water tank was not working correctly and John was able to tell us exactly what needed to be done to fix it. He went in to great detail. This is our go to place for plumbing needs!

We just finished a large plumbing project w/Fort St. Plumbing. The scope included relocating 2 restrooms, mop sink, hose bib, water fountains and water tank to opposite side of a commercial building. The crew always arrived on time, was very diligent in their work and always polite to the store's staff and customers. Owner Randy was by far one of the most accommodating plumbing contractors we've worked with over the past 16 years of commercial work. They're in high demand, but if you're looking for a knowledgeable company that does quality work, then Fort St. Plumbing is the smart call.

I had a major issue with tree roots that did severe damage to my sewer line outside of my house. Randy and his team were at my house within 24 hours to give me a quote for a repair covered by insurance. FSP was by far the least expensive, and most professional, knowledgeable, and prompt. They told me that my sewer line was still in good enough condition that they could clean out the roots and install a high quality liner instead of excavate which would have resulted in me paying over $10k out of pocket even after insurance covered the rest. The work started shortly after I gave them the go-ahead, and they were at my home all day, everyday until the job was done. The four other companies I had come to my house for quotes didn't want to take the time to fully inspect my sewer and give me all the options available to me. Fort St Plumbing will always be my go-to plumbers for now on. Thanks

Randy and the gang have consistently given us great service over the years. Yesterday the pressure relief valve for our water heater gave out so we called Fort Street Plumbing. Not only did he have the part we needed, he had it delivered to our door because he knew we couldn't make it in to pick up until the following day. ABOVE & BEYOND the call of duty. Thanks!

I called to ask about a part that is hard to come by. The lady that answered the phone explained she wasn't really sure of what I needed but would have someone call me back when they weren't so busy. I honestly thought she was just trying to get me off the phone. No way! With in 15 minutes a gentleman called me back and not only knew what I was talking about but had the part. I highly recommend Fort Street Plumbing. Not the first time I have relied on them and it won't be the last!

About 1 year ago, my husband and I needed new spigots and a new silcock added for two hoses at our home in Wyandotte. We called up Fort Street Plumbing and they arrived on time, were extremely professional and got the job done in just a few hours. The pricing was very reasonable. A few months ago, we noticed a leak in the spigot that they had initially replaced. I called them in the morning to inquire about the leak and they had a team here within 2 hours, replaced the spigot, no additional cost as it remained under warranty. Very pleased with Fort Street Plumbing and I've referred them to all of my friends and family that live within the the downriver area.

Reliable, punctual and curteous. It's been difficult to find service people willing to work and fit jobs in during this post-pandemic-growing-into-recession time. They kept their appointments and gave me reliable quotes without a bunch of upsells. Kept communications line open and did a fantastic job. Would recommend to anyone! Used them for a broken kitchen sink drain pipe... had to cut the stack, cap it on the roof, etc.

I recommend this company to service a water heater at my mothers house. The work was done. The reason for the review is the unkind, and unprofessional way they spoke to my mother. Basically laughing at her kitchen for being so small. I wish she would of told them to hold off instead of telling them to go ahead with the work. I’d rather pay someone double or tripple and get treated with respect. She was so upset and embarrassed that she called me crying. Will never recommend this company to anyone else

Colin and Jason did an excellent job in replacing a floor drain. Excellent work, cleaned up site when finished, reasonable price. Highly recommend.

We called Fort St. Plumbing with a sudden sewer line back up problem. We didn't know how long it would take to get someone to come to our house, but they were able to come within 15 minutes. They fixed our problem within a half hour. The two plumbers were very professional and polite and fixed it at a reasonable cost. They also gave helpful tips to keep the drains flowing smoothly for the future. We hightly recommend this company.

I had this company come out for a storm drain repair. The estimate was between $4000-$6500 for the job depending on if they ran into problems. I was charged the maximum even though workers told me that they did not run into issues. After speaking with the owner I was informed that tree roots had to be removed, but that wasn’t listed on the invoice. I feel like they charged me the maximum because they could. They were also extremely unprofessional about providing me a copy of my original video done when they gave the estimate. I had to call many times and physically go up to the office. They also did not provide a copy of the warranty until I asked for it, and even that took days to receive.

This is a messed up company. I called them because my neighbors highly recommended them. When they first came out to my home they seemed professional at first. Until I had some severe health issues that delayed the start of the work. When I tried to call them back they blew me off. Saying that they couldn’t get to me for an until 15 days for an estimate. And wouldn’t be able to start the work another week after.
I guess they just didn’t want my cashed out insurance claim that I filled based on the first estimate they gave me. Or is it just because I’m black.

My garbage disposal stopped working for 2 days. With the sink backing up with dirty water as well as dirty dishes. I decided to fix myself, but to no avail. With my wife yelling at me I decided to call Fort Street Plumbing. They worked around my schedule and took care of the issue the next day. I couldn't ask for a more courteous, honest, fair priced plumbing company. I would highly recommend. Oh and my wife smiled at me again! Thanks for everything FSP!

These folks are so very professional and just plain good! Scheduling was easy, they followed up promptly and Allen and Alfonzo did a great job installing and testing a new toilet. They cleaned up and were polite & well, just awesome compared to many folks hired in the past. Allen gave us some great suggestions for future work based on questions we asked.
