Scheduled an appointment during the evening hours using their online booking service for a non-emergency plumbing issue. Received a phone call first thing the next morning to confirm the appointment and had a technician out to my house within the hour to fix the issue. Very thorough in explaining the work to be completed; the cost estimate was provided upfront and reasonable for the work. The technician did a great job fixing the issue and had it completed in about an hour. Overall, very happy with the ease of scheduling the appointment, the quickness in which the technician was able to come out to perform the repairs, and the quality of the work.

We have always had good experiences with Canfield but Luke Cavanaugh went above and beyond. Easy to talk to, knowledgeable, and thorough! He did a great job taking care of our electrical needs. Thank you, Luke.

We’ve had Jay out to our place a few times now—most recently to replace an anode rod for the water heater, and a bladder tank. Each experience has been top-notch.

Jay is incredibly personable, patient, and knowledgeable. It’s rare to find someone who clearly loves what they do and is also a true master of their craft. He does an awesome job of breaking down technical issues so they’re easy to understand, and he always checks in to make sure we’re on the same page before moving forward.

He’s honest, logical, and just plain good at his job. I don't plan on calling anyone else for my plumbing needs—I’ve officially found my go-to guy. Highly recommend!

My technician, Josh, showed up on time, analyzed an issue with the new furnace that was just installed, and ordered a replacement part for a defective part from the manufacturer. I'm very happy with all the folks at Canfield. I'll continue to do business with them as necessary. I highly recommend this company if you require any of the services that they offer

Erika was extremely professional from start to finish. She took the time to thoroughly inspect my furnace and clearly explain my options for upgrading. I really appreciated how knowledgeable and informative she was, she made the entire process feel easy and stress-free. Highly recommend! 10/10

Rafael was great to work with. He knew exactly what was going on with my plumbing issue and did a double check on other rooms to make sure there was no other problems.

At the same time we had Kevin come and do just regular maintenance on our furnace. Looked at all the things in a very timely fashion and got the furnace humidifier back running.

Both of these crew members were very kind and friendly. Canfield takes the time to make sure their employees are the best. I appreciated working with them.

New water heater installed. Very pleased with the service. Bryant did an excellent job, very respectful. Cleaned up the work site. Also replaced the washing machine hoses while here. We will definitely continue to use Canfield Plumbing and Heating / Blakeslee and Sons for any future plumbing needs!

Kane was awesome! Arrived fast for an emergency burst pipe. Pricing was fair, and top notch professionalism (way better than the other local company that rhymes with fenning). Can’t say enough good things about how Canfield has always treated us. They’re the best!

I had tree roots that had broken thru in my sewer line so it had to be replaced. Martin came out with his crew which required digging down 9 ft in my yard to replace the pipes. He was in contact with me all the way thru the process and explained any concerns I had. It was a little tricky as I had to coordinate having someone take my fence down so they could get their equipment in and then have it timed so the fence would go back up when they were done as I have a dog who is an escape artist. They worked with me all the way thru, arrived promptly and did an EXCELLENT job! They were very careful to wrap my tree so I didn't lose it in the process (an American Mountain Ash) and there was zero damage to the enclosure on the other side of the area. When I saw the mountain of dirt they dug out I could only visualize the disaster that would be left. Nope. They used their equipment to clean it up and you could hardly tell it had been there when they were done. An added bonus: they had dug up a giant rock (it must weigh at least 500 lbs) and asked me if I wanted to keep it. I had actually been wanting a big rock like that to go next to my flag pole. They moved the rock over right where I wanted it and I was smiling like a Cheshire Cat. The job was completed in about six hours. As soon as they left, the fence guy came and put my fence back up. Everything went like clockwork. It was a pleasure working with Martin throughout this project. I was given an estimate prior to and that was what I was charged. I was happy with the job he and the others did and although I hope to never have to call them again, I would happily recommend them to anyone that has to go thru having a sewage line replaced.
