Tanner was great. He explained the work he had done on the furnace and how it looked OK. He was very professional and even told me some points that would help the furnace run better like the correct air filter, cleaning the fan and he suggested a magnetic filter because I told him that this house was so dusty. He was going to send me information. I really appreciated him. Your company is very lucky to have such a great employee.

We currently have a problem with a 20+ year old furnace. Tanner was great!! Presents himself well! Knowledgeable, polite, great at answering questions and showing the issues causing problems. The furnace is very expensive, but that is not the fault of Tanner. We were pleased to have Tanner call on us this day. Thanks to Tanner and thank you to Canfield for sending out a quality person.

Nolan was here diagnosing a leak in our furnace due to a faulty pump valve. Had three other people here and no one could find the problem. But NOLAN did. He is extremely thorough and knows exactly what he’s doing. Very friendly and explained things well to me. Happy customers !!!!!!!

This was our first experience with Canfield and it was excellent! Luke was thorough and provided us with feedback and options for improving our electrical system. He was there as part of an annual inspection Canfield offers for heating, cooling, and air conditioning.

Haydn was great. Worked through our clogged kitchen drains and explained what he was doing as well. Also gave some recommendations on how to avoid an issue in the future. Would recommend Canfield to anyone.

Huge shoutout to Rod for coming to my house on a Saturday, during Thanksgiving weekend, to fix my furnace. It was also during a bad winter storm. He did an excellent job. He quickly diagnosed the issue and fixed it. It was no fun having no heat. He had it fixed in no time. He was super nice, friendly and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this company. MOST importantly when I called someone answered the phone and gave me the peace of mind that someone will be on the way as soon as possible. I said not an emergency would just like to be on the list. We were having some issues with our furnace this winter, and we originally called Canfield for after hours service because it was below zero outside. They picked right up and connected me with Nolan (I think, from memory) and he helped my figure out what was going on and we got it running, no service call needed. I really appreciated that, so we had them out the next day to look everything over. I'm glad we did, because Erika found a couple areas that were clearly about to become a safety problem and it was time to replace the furnace. We really appreciated her just being a real person and showing us what was going on, not showing us some sales binder about raising the value of our home like some companies do, that rhyme with crapids. Anyways, the whole process was awesome, all great people, and they have people who check on other people and make sure the work is perfect. I can see why they are rated so highly, and this was my favorite major home repair we've had done because they did it. Thanks so much!

I have been a Canfield (Blakeslee&Son’s) customer for over twenty years. Martin installed a new sump pump, which I needed badly. Called Thursday, kind of late and Martin showed up early afternoon Friday. He was quick, efficient, friendly, very knowledgeable and was an all round good guy. Plumbing work is never cheap, but their prices are very fair and offer a great value. Thanks Martin and Canfield.

Canfield and their technician, Rob, were quick to respond and provide any needed repairs during emergency hours as how furnace stopped working during some of thr coldest temperatures for the winter season. While the technician was making the repairs, he provided us with suggestions and he was excellent at communicating and explaining any recommendations for further improvement. Additionally, he walked us through how to do our own maintenance and how to better identify problems so that we can make our own diagnosis in the event of any possible future failures to our furnace. We would highly recommend their services to anyone who needs HVAC help.

Charles from Canfield Plumbing did an outstanding job fixing a water leak in our basement that was caused by a burst water pipe. He diagnosed the issue quickly and had it repaired efficiently, saving us a lot of time and stress. He worked fast, was extremely professional, and left the work area spotless when he was finished. On top of that, Charles was friendly, courteous, and easy to work with. We couldn’t be happier with the service and would absolutely recommend him and Canfield Plumbing to anyone in need of plumbing work

We called on a Sunday evening about furnace gas smell. Live answering service took call with promised call back by Canfield. Within minutes I had a phone all. Gave some immediate support on phone and tech arrived in about an hour as promised. Alex was terrific, thorough and professional. Found the issue and explained to me. It was great service.

Called when pipes were beginning to freeze. They were able to come within a few hours. Martin Hollern was professional, but also kind, caring and considerate and showed empathy in a very stressful situation, while attempting several solutions to address the issue, he did everything he could to perform the necessary repairs, including getting a heater to thaw pipes, and returning the next day to complete the job to replace my old heat tape that was bad. I appreciated the quick response and the attention to detail to make sure I knew exactly what was needed, how it was going to be handled, and when they were finished and leaving. Highly recommend Martin and appreciate how the entire situation was handled. I have not received the bill for this service as of yet so I am not able to comment on the reasonableness of it at this time.

Martin went above & beyond in making sure all was good. He also explained all he was doing & why. It was a real pleasure working with Martin & Canfield. I would most diffinately use them again & would recommend them for anyone looking to get an honest qoute along with top notch service.

Service Provider, Luke, did a great job. I needed my gas connection to my dryer changed to fit a new dryer. I was up and running with my washer and dryer very quickly.
Luke was Professional, competent, and personable.

Addition to my original post - I called Canfield to schedule the install of a new water heater. They had a cancellation that morning and were able to install the heater that same day.

So, out with the water heater tank and in with the new State tankless on-demand model.
Chris, Mason and Rod were professional and did a great job. I’m a happy customer once again.

Joshua came out and diagnosed the problems with my heater. He was able to have it up and running very quickly. His professionalism and knowledge reflects positively on Canfield plumbing & Heating. He was very good at explaining what was wrong and how he would go about fixing the problems, to someone without any hvac knowledge. Im very satisfied with this service call and will continue to use this company for all my heating and cooling needs.
