During Winter 2019-2020, while my father was deployed overseas, his furnace went out. My brother and I determined what part needed to be replaced. The only company that had the part in stock in the area was AC Engineers. I told (I assume the owner) what was going on and that my dad was on active duty deployment in Afghanistan and he gave me the part at no charge. I just wanted to say thank you again, Air Conditioning Engineers, your kindness and compassion, is still greatly appreciated by my family to this day!

$90 diagnosis fee and about five minutes to assess what was needed. $94 to blow out a drain, which they had installed and replumbed previously, that took literally one minute and I assisted. The technician was prompt and completed work quickly. I had used this firm for 20 years and had them install complete A/C, furnace, dehumidifier, and hot water tank. Disappointed to say the least.

Update: After the google review the management replied via email and discounted the bill $60 and suggested a maintenance program. After a diagnosis get pricing for further repairs before any work is done. The initial diagnosis fee is separate.

Great service and reasonably price. Brian was very professional, personable, down to earth and overall I was very pleased with the service provided. Veteran friendly as well. Woke up Saturday morning and the furnace was not working. Called Air Conditioning Engineers at 8:40 am and by 9 they were at our house. Doug K diagnosed the issue to be the circuit board. Being that the furnace is 35 years old it was not worth the $500 dollars to repair it. A sale representative was out to our house by noon to give us quotes for new furnaces. Talk about quick response time. Both Doug K (technician) and Jeff L (sale representative) were great to work with.

Five stars appreciation! Same day evaluation and repair heating system. Doug K was very professional and did an excellent job, we would hire Air Conditioning Engineers again and highly recommend them to any one needing their kind of service.

The call center took their time to help me as a newer home owner to figure out what may be the trouble with my AC unit. Once I scheduled my appointment, which they were able to get to me within the week (two days because I had to wait for a weekend) the technician allowed me to ask questions and he explained in ways that I could understand so that I now know how to take care of my AC. Their fee to come out is $89, which is about $10 more than a few other places I called, however they were the friendliest, most patient, professionals I've worked with in a long time. Worth every penny! AND the repair was less than $300 (including fee)! When I say call these guys, I mean CALL THEM! They are THE BEST!

Had my annual furnace cleaning with Air Conditioning Engineers. I have been using the company for several years and their work is outstanding. They are trustworthy and reasonable prices with all services. I love their coupons which gives me a discount in heating/air conditioning services.

Justin provided professional, courteous service and explained and recommended some things for me to do to assist with a healthy and clean furnace for my household. I never put in a review right after a service has been completed. Let's face it one is always happy when something has been fixed. But will the fix last? Now that a month has gone by since the service call and I just received my first electric bill after the service I am elated! Bill went from $269 to $125. So whatever miracle they performed on a 19 year old air conditioner, I am extremely grateful. What I immediately liked about this company is that right off the bat the person on the phone said "Just because it is old does not mean it cannot be fixed." So they weren't out to sell me something I might not need. A very big thanks!

We hired them to install a new AirCondition unit in our condo about 5 years ago, it already broke twice so far, we called them, back on June and they sent us a technician and he supposedly fixed the problem (they charged us around $180 ) , it broke yesterday again and they sent us their tech again, he said the condenser needs to be changed and they will give us a discount price of $1300 for the material, although the unit is still under warranty but the manager John declined that and claimed it was broken because of lack of maintenance! And we were supposed to hire them for a yearly check up in order to get the warranty honored ! At the end of the conversation he the F word and denied any services for a unit that they installed and checked it up 2 weeks ago!

John was very knowledgeable and kind. He showed up 5 minutes early and fixed the problem with our air conditioner in less than 30 minutes. The pricing was fair and reasonable and I would recommend this company to my family and friends.

I heartily recommend AC Engineers. They're very honest*, hard working, and they bent over backwards to make sure I was satisfied and everything they did met code.
*1)They once had the opportunity to sell me much more than I needed, but instead offered a low cost alternative that lasted for years. When I finally needed a major replacement, there was no question about who I would call for the service. They met all my expectations and more.

My air conditioner had stopped working so I called a repair company. When they showed up, I was told that I needed a new furnace at a cost of $2,500. I decided to get a second estimate and called Air Conditioning Engineers. The rep checked everything out and found the system to be working. He said that perhaps a clogged filter had stopped the air from getting through previously. He recommended replacement of the capacitor only at a cost of $100. I was so thrilled and told him he had made my day! It was so refreshing to encounter an honest repairman for a change! He was courteous and professional and knowledgeable. Our nearly new whole house humidifier was not working properly. Water was not passing through it. Brian checked the system end to end to locate a plugged tube at the device's solenoid. He cleaned the tube and the system started to work correctly. He also showed us how to more easily change the complex air purifier filter. He did it all quickly, accurately. and pleasantly, at all times with respect. Very positive experience as always with Air Conditining Engineers.

My basement flooded and took out the blower motor on the furnace. I had a hard time finding anyone to come out quickly. Then I called Air Conditioning Engineers. They had someone there in a couple hours and they were on time. A tech by the name of Doug came out and quickly diagnosed the problem. He did not have the motor on his truck but was more than willing to go get it to get me back up and running quickly. He was great to deal with and knew what he was doing. I would say the cost was very reasonable as well. Very satisfied and I will be calling them again for any future issues. Thank you Doug and Air Conditioning Engineers!

Such an amazing engagement with Doug K with Air Conditioning Engineers. He was very knowledgeable to share and explain any symptom happening in the transition of my repair on AC. Extremely recommended personnel and corporation. They did not leave until order was completed which was a last minute early call from customer.

I have used Air Conditioning Engineers (ACE) at least 6 times in the 12 years I've been in my home. They have come out for emergencies, routine maintenance and installations.

I recently had our 38-year-old furnace replaced with a high-efficiency Bryant. The salesman that came out to measure and explain everything to me was very knowledgeable, and at no time did I feel pressured to purchase anything. He provided multiple discounts, and that, combined with the rebates, made it feel like I got a reasonable price. It may not have been the lowest, but I don't mind paying for good work and a company I can trust.

The installers were very courteous, and after initially tracking a little dirt on the rug, they put down drop cloths, even down the basement stairs, which I told him didn't matter. They took about 5 hours to install the furnace, which was longer than I expected, but it turns out that they were trying to get my humidifier to work the way it is supposed to work, rather than the way it has always worked before. Once I convinced them that I was fine with the original way it worked, they finished quickly and cleaned up thoroughly.

I would recommend ACE to my friends, and I have.

Air Conditioning Engineers has been my go-to for decades now. My parents before me used them when I was young.
Reasonable lead time for service, competitive pricing, and courteous personnel.
And it's a company with integrity: when I had a new thermostat installed in January, the price was reasonable. But when the first heat wave hit, the air conditioning didn't work. The service man who came out found that the previous person had forgotten to connect one wire. The problem was fixed for free, without even a service charge. It would have been easy for a less scrupulous company to fudge that into a fee, but A.C.E. believes in doing right by their customers.
Other companies my dad tried several years ago (due to a service contract with DTE) were not as scrupulous. One scheduled him to have a complete furnace replacement for several thousand dollars. I insisted on a second opinion from A.C.E., and it turned out all that was needed was a minor part replacement. Dad was 89 at the time. That's integrity!
