Shelby Mechanical did a great job of unclogging our toilet which had been backing up daily for over a week. They were able to come out the day I phoned. I had been wanting to change the toilet for a different one I had seen for sale at a store and hired them to install that also. Paul the technician finished the job neatly and quickly including getting rid of the toilet we replaced. We thought the price was very fair.

Shelby Mechanical has been our plumber for years. They have done everything from installing gas line for stove & dryer, fixing a shower drains, installing new toilets, to converting from well water to city water. Always the best customer service, fair prices, quality fixes and never had any issues after. Shout out to Gabe!

We recently bought a new-to-us house that had a lot of water related problems. The previous owner had always used Putnam Brothers so we thought we’d try them since they were familiar with the house. Big mistake - they cost more than Shelby Mechanical and had terrible customer service. I am going back to Shelby Mechanical for all future projects. Highly recommend Shelby Mechanical to anyone!

I contracted Shelby Mechanical to verify the operation of my sprinkler system backflow preventer as requested by the local municipality and State of Michigan, and they arrived on time, were quick, did great work, and were reasonably priced. He kept me updated with what needed to be completed, he informed me of what was needed when a few issues came up and when the job was completed he took the time to show me the work and answer all my questions. I was very satisfied with the completed job and with Shelby Mech. who was referred by the Inside/Outside Guys on WJR.

This company was great to deal with. The master plumber was very helpful with the install of a new sump pump and pvc piping. Everything is working wonderfully and my basement is now in much better shape. I will be calling them again when the need arises for other plumbing issues.

Good quality work on replacement of our water heater. Price was good and they didn't cut corners. They also provided Bradford White, a good quality, Michigan made water heater. All is working great. They also did a minor plumbing repair on something else, at no charge. Will call them again for future plumbing needs.

Very happy with my 1st experience with Shelby mechanical and Ryan. He was polite, prompt, knowledgeable and thorough. Quoted me one figure and was honest enough to tell me less was needed once he started on the actual work required. Both of my spickets are working and did not need full replacement. Marcus and his partner came over first thing in the morning and got right to work. It took them no time at all and did very professional. Work . My sump pump drain underground was leaking and they had to replace a pipe underground. Very fair price and quality work. You can't go wrong using this company. Very professional. I needed the inside of my toilet tank replaced. It had been leaking. I called SM Shelby Mechanical LLC to come out.They sent one of their best plumbers.He did an outstanding job. He figured out what needed replacing. The toilet works PERFECT now. The price he quoted me from the beginning was the price I paid when he was finished.He even had to run to the plumbing store to get a handle that fit my odd shaped toilet tank. He also installed a new supply line. I will always ask for Marcus. Thank you so much for such a professional job! Marcus is also very customer friendly!

My experience with Paul Tabb who came out to install a gas line and also hooked up my new gas stove. Paul came out to give me a free estimate, he was very thorough, very knowledgeable, he answered my questions. such a pleasant person. it was easy to talk to him. I didn't feel like just another a customer, he was very relatable. It was easy to contact him he would get right back with me. He came out timely and completed the job with no problems, just a slight follow-up call, he was there to check on it. I was very pleased with my service with this company.
