I hired them to install a smart water leak detection device that gets installed after the water meter and before everything else in the house.
Shelby Mechanical proactively notified me of the technician assigned (including a picture), provided an estimated time of arrival, and the technician arrived on time. He was pleasant and professional.
Once explained what I needed installed he provided some advice about these types of devices. This was informative.
He next communicated with their office and provided a price. I agreed to the price (a bit higher than I was expecting but within reason). He told me he needed parts and would return. This was disappointing because; 1) I'd expect technicians to have standard fitting pieces/parts, 2) It was probably an hour plus that he was gone. This is why I reduced my rating from 5 to 4 starts.
Once he returned the installation went without a hitch and he asked me to inspect his work. Everything met my expectations.
Shelby Mechanical came highly recommended by my sister & brother-in-law. I would recommend them to family and friends.

Jason Ghent and Alontae Granville went above and beyond to make sure the replacement of my water heater went smooth and painless! They also made sure all faucets were working and the water pressure was where it was supposed to be. Our Tankless water system was throwing errors and turning off randomly. Gabriel our assigned technician was very knowledgeable, polite, quick & efficient. Shelby Mechanical offered fair pricing and responded very quickly. I definitely recommend.

The crew from Shelby Mechanical arrived on time and went straight to work. They laid a protective tarp from the entrance, down the stairs and up to the mechanical room, which contained the drain with the clogged backflow. They clearly explained what they would do, opened up the drain and cleared some sludge on the other side of the check valve. They inserted the scope with the snake which showed a small amount of backed up sewage near the valve. They continued to insert about 90 feet of snake, showing me clear PVC only a few feet into the drain and through the rest of the drain. They removed the snake and cleaned up thoroughly. They tested after re-installing the check valve by flushing the toilet with toilet paper in it, showing me the paper moving easily through the check valve. They were very professional and good at their job. We were very pleased with their work.

Amazing experience, My sump pump failed last night and I called them first thing in the morning and they were at my house by 10AM to replace it with zero issues and great price. This is the second time I used Shelby Mechanical and I will continue to use thier services.

I hired Shelby Mechanical to replace two outdoor hose faucets. Jason did excellent and honest work at a fair price. I checked out a handful of plumbers in the area before going with Shelby Mechanical and will plan to use them for future jobs.

5 star plus..plus!!! I couldn't be happier with the work that Shelby Mechanical provided to us. We had a major problem with our sump pump and the main line outside. Paul, was our technician and he came out the day after I called stating I needed help. He was amazing. He explained everything in detail and he had his camera to film all the way through the pipe so that he could show us what was happening and causing the sump pump problems. Turns out they had to reroute the line.

It was a very big job to fix the problem. But we definitely picked the right company to do it all. Believe me I did my research. Paul and his crew were outstanding. I mean from the beginning to the end everything was perfect. They had to remove a section of our fence in order to bring the equipment in the backyard and they did it with such care and accuracy. I didn't worry about a thing. If you need any type of work that this company provides you will not be sorry to hire them. It was just an amazing experience and I can't speak highly enough about all of what was done. Paul and his crew did a phenomenal job! Don't look for anyone else but these guys. You won't be sorry.

Ryan, the serviceman from Shelby Mechanical, came out on November 25th as scheduled. He arrived on time and proceeded to perform the work requested. He wasn't able to open the drain, but this did not come as a surprise. We had a conversation before he quoted the job that the results might not be what we were looking for.

We discussed another solution to our problem. Shelby sent me a quote within a couple of days with a price to accomplish that new solution. We are still considering that quotation.

Got the job done quick and helped pin point another issue in question. Will definitely be in connect for future needs.
