Had Truegreen several years ago but discontinued after not receiving the service promised. Thought I would try them again but am regret my decision already. To start with, the guy on the phone that I set everything up with was definitely drunk or high. That should have been a red flag enough for me but I decided to give them a second chance anyways. Bad idea. They proceeded to charge my account two weeks before they promised and also overcharged me by $60+ over what was quoted. Was told I would be called several days in advance of the service to let me know exactly when they would be here. Never received a call and didn’t find out that my service was scheduled until I called to complain about the overcharge. Well the driver showed up today, one day earlier than what I was told was scheduled and my back grass was not easily accessible because I planned on prepping that for them today. When driver walked into back yard my security caught him saying “are you f’n serious?” Great job again…. He proceeded to walk around for a minute then left without even applying anything. I was able to speak with him out front as he was winding up the hose and he said he was able to figure out how to get to the grass and that there weren’t very many weeds. At that point I had not checked the security cams but thought it strange that he said that since there are a ton of dandelions & other broad leaf weeds in the back yard. Turns out he flat out lied about it. That was the last strike-sorry to see that the quality of service hasn’t changed at all over the last few years. Everything is great! Janelle is awesome!! She does a wonderful job, very thorough and such a nice person!! I have no complaints at all. We've been getting the mosquito defense for a few years now and I would highly recommend this service to anyone. Our two labs are enjoying the benefits of a mosquito free yard too. I’ve been with Trugreen for more 10 years last three years. I’ve been complaining about my Grass every time they send someone and still the same nothing change I think it’s time to change to different company.

My lawn looks great. Grass is rich green. Lawn pests under control. Thank you.

My technician, Lance Brown, has always done an exceptional job. He’s very professional and pleasant. He doesn’t rush the job. He will offer up suggestions to me if he thinks the lawn needs additional help. I’m very happy with his services.

Giacomo is awesome. Very professional and personable. He spent few minutes speaking with me on how I could improve the condition of my lawn. I just bought this home and the grass needs help. Worthy of 10 stars if that was offered!

The lawn at my business is beautiful thanks to TruGreen. Before using them, I was dealing with a grass full of weeds and dandelions every spring & summer...Not anymore, thanks to TruGreen. I truly recommend giving them a try if you want to have a nice lawn.

Lance brown is a great guy!!! Very professional and very readily to talk to you about your lawn. Whether it needs alot,he doesn't judge he just gives friendly advice. I would recommend him anytime

2 years of terrible service. Damaged stampcrete, damaged lawn, and not to mention more weeds and crabgrass then I had before. Honestly, who pushes a lawn aerator over concrete, let alone stampcrete? I will never recommend Trugreen to anyone.

My true green specialist Norman Green was very professional. He rang the doorbell when he got here. Let me know that he was there starting my service. I watched him as he performed the service on my lawn. He was very particular taking his time making sure all areas were covered. He was very polite and professional. Once he was done he came back to the door, letting me know he was done gave me my receipt and told me to have a great day. He did an awesome awesome job.

The technicians are professional and take out time to answer questions. My lawn and shrubs are healthy. I have not been bothered by pesky mosquitoes because of the treatments. The price is affordable.

I believe that Trugreen provides professional care of your lawn. They are dependable, reliable and helpful. Service man assigned to the care of our lawn engages with us after each application (if we are home) and leaves a detailed note about services that were performed, and suggests ways to improve your lawn, e.g. more frequent watering needed, or grass is being cut too short, etc. I am very pleased with Trugreen.

These guys are great! My lawn has never looked better. Very friendly and courteous. You still have weed problems during the season or between applications? They will come out free of charge and take care of you. Very good price also. I will continue to use them

TruGreen lawn service really gives great lawn care for your lawn. I've been dealing with them for 50 years. I should know. Right??

This year has been a disappointment for trugreen for me. The wait time to speak to an agent is hours. The service when they come out is rushed and they are only here for 5 min for my weed control and I live on a large corner lot. Today is the last draw. I would not recommend them. Had my yard aeration done today and they tore my lawn up with the machine. Called to speak with a supervisor and of course no one is available.

Skipp was kind, knowledgeable and took time to explain some things and offered positive efforts to take care of some grass that had gone brown and said treatment should help. Appreciated his time in these crazy times!!!

I would like to say we love our lawn the color and thickness is beautiful...We have had Trugree for a few years now...Our Trugreen specialist Giacomo Mele is professional, polite and answers all our questions with helpful tips on keeping our lawn beautiful.. I hope Trugreen continues to have specalist Giacomo Mele service our lawn hes the main reason why we keep Trugreen...Giacomo Mele truly cares about his customers and we appeciate him...Thank you Giacomo Mele and Trugreen you are the best !! Specialists and account managers promised a better lawn but completely ruined my lawn.
Overspray, not targeting right areas, and inadequate service is what I experienced with my season with tru green. Will not be a customer of this business for sure. Weeds were not targeted and grass was damaged.

Good Afternoon,
I have called 6 or 7 times in the last 8 weeks to have these weeds addressed. Nothing is done. If something isn't done soon, I will be canceling my service permanently. I have been a customer since 2012.

This review is specifically for the Taylor, MI location on Pennsylvania Rd.

The service I ordered and paid for was strictly a house perimeter pest spray four times through out this year. The service entails spraying the walls of one's house a few feet above the ground and about 12" out from the wall. I made it very clear when ordering the service that we do not want the lawn sprayed. Only the house perimeter. The customer service rep fully acknowledged me and confirmed only the house perimeter would be sprayed.

The first two techs to come out provided the service perfectly.

The third tech used the wrong pesticide. It was flakes instead of liquid which the previous two had used. I called the service and another tech was sent out to correct the matter.

Today the 4th treatment occurred. Except that the tech sprayed the house AND the entire lawn, front and back.

I have canceled our service and will never order any service through Trugreen again.

My employment depends on me being accurate in my work and reliable. I imagine being accurate and reliable as a Trugreen service tech is not difficult. Do the techs just not care about the quality and accuracy of their work or the reputation of the company for which they work?

My husband made a call to the 800 number but I feel adding this review may help future customers be wary of the service they receive.

I desire no refund or gift certificate. I simply want employees to be reliable and accurate in their work.
