Landmark was great, they came out on a Saturday, after hours, figured out our problem and contacted DTE. He connected us up temporarily until DTE could fix their part of the problem. Super courteous and smart. We will be contacting them again. Thanks and good job! 👍

The Landmark guys came in and were able to quickly troubleshoot why the outlets on one side of my house were not working. Apparently, it was an issue with poor work from our builder where they used a shortcut for something. I was happy they were even willing to come out, as most electricians didn’t want to bother because the solution to many electrical issues is a quick fix. That was not the case here and I was grateful. I found Landmark on Thumbtack and will be using them again for any of our electrical needs in the future.

I called Landmark Electric to test a carbon monoxide detector that chirping could not be fixed by replacing the new battery. The electrician Shawn Hickson showed up right on time, explained everything in detail. In addition to fix the issue right away, he also showed me how to check and do trouble shooting safely and correctly if the issue happened again. Shawn is very professional and friendly. He covered his shoes when entering my home. His communication was great the whole way through. I will be recommending Landmark Electric to all my friends and family for sure.

I had Landmark Electric come out to install a new ceiling fan, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the entire experience. The electricians were on time, professional, and really knew what they were doing. They handled everything quickly and efficiently, and even made sure the fan was perfectly balanced and quiet before they left.

I received the services requested and was informed of each issue and given a reason and shown effected parts before repairs which made me and wife feel very comfortable. Shawn was awesome. He arrived within the given time frame and took a look at our outlet and found that the previous homeowners and/or their electrician had disconnected the grounding wire when the dishwasher was installed. He corrected the problem and went to the store to get a brown outlet to match the others in the kitchen. He fixed the issue, and then took an in depth look at another issue I wanted a ballpark estimate for, and completed a full, detailed estimate within minutes. Shawn went above and beyond!

Shawn did an amazing job! We lost power in two rooms and he fixed that quickly and gave us more information about what electrical issues we may want to address in the future. Highly recommend!!

The quality of the electrical work itself met my expectations, and communication prior to and during the early stages of the project was very good. Unfortunately, my experience took a significant downturn once the work was nearly complete.

The agreement I signed clearly stated that “All change orders must be approved in writing.” After the initial estimate of roughly $5,300, I received a written change order for an additional $1,900, which I reviewed, approved, and signed. However, when the project was finished, I was billed a total of $8,300 — meaning $1,100 in charges were added without any written authorization from me.

To make matters worse, the company had my card on file from the initial deposit and took it upon themselves to charge the final amount without my approval or permission. This left me no opportunity to review or dispute the unauthorized portion of the bill before payment was processed.

I attempted to resolve this directly and called four separate times, speaking to the same customer service representative each time. She apologized and assured me a supervisor or manager would contact me by the end of the day, yet no one ever reached out. Each time I called back, I received the same apology and the same promise, with no follow-through.

Additionally, the electrician was supposed to return the day after completion to remove all job-related debris. He never showed up, which forced another contractor I had hired to work around the mess until I called again to insist they return.

Given the unauthorized charges, the drastic shift in customer service once the job was completed, and the repeated failures in communication, I expect the company to resolve this matter with me directly and honor the terms of their own agreement. Based on my experience, I cannot in good faith recommend this company due to these transgressions and their unethical billing practices.

Shawn and his apprentice worked 2 plus hours to fix our temporary issue. Scheduled the larger job for next week. Professional, courteous, answered our numerous questions explaining things in layman’s terms. THANK YOU!! Wrote up our estimate and explained the upcoming job and time frame needed. Very reassuring, so knowledgeable, put our minds at ease. We are very satisfied so far😊. Happy New Year!!!

Working with Landmark Electric was a fabulous experience end to end. Their online scheduling was easy and their fee was clear and fair. They offered me an earlier opening when one became available. On the day of, they called me in advance, showed up on time and were very professional. They provided a reasonable price and were able to fix my issue in the same call.
