As President and a 20 year Board Member of Windwood Pointe, I want to thank Berns Landscaping for over 25 years of the best landscaping and snow removal service there is anywhere. We have had many try, unsuccessfully, to have Windwood Pointe as a client, but that will never happen. Berns has provided the best quality service, professional help and landscaping development that won the Beautification Award for Windwood Pointe in 2016. They have turned our property into a much sought after place to make your home.

They definitely do great work. Whenever I contacted them, I got a prompt response, even when they were having trouble. At one point their scheduling system went down, so I called to make sure I was still in there, and they accommodated me greatly.

Great job with fertilizing, plantings, flowers, and soil preparation. Continuous follow-up & very responsive in providing fair quotes with good details. Would highly recommend and our business will use them again.

We've used 5 different lawn and bed maintenance companies in the Grosse Pointe area since we moved to town a couple of decades ago. Berns is by far the best. Their prices are reasonable, they do a great job across the board, and they are exceptionally responsive

Berns Landscaping is a fabulous company in many respects. Professional, polite, courteous and their work is beautiful. From lawn service to Christmas decorating. They know their business and planning your landscape is wonderful and they will work with you. They do great work!

Guy came out on a Friday afternoon and I told him what we wanted done. He said I'll be back out on Monday or Tuesday for some additional measurements and then give an estimate. Never came back or called. Not sure how there are other great reviews with service like that?!!

I contracted Berns Landscaping Services to remove a large tree from my backyard. The crew worked with incredible enthusiasm, great attitude and they left driveway and yard impeccable. Definitely, I recommend them.

I have used Berns Landscaping Services, Inc. for a couple years now and expect to continue to do so. They have provided complete gardening services; maintaining my sprinkler system, flower beds and lawn and my yard looks beautiful!! Bern's has been servicing our condo complex for many years. The fact they have been contracted for many years should fortify our trust in their commitment and expertise.

This is my third year with Bern's. I am confident that whatever landscaping task I require will be done promptly and professionally by the Bern's team. I've hired Bern's to do more and more work at my home because I know it will be done well.
Work is "drama free".

This is the 2nd year we have used Berns for our sprinkler system reconfiguration and set up. They have done wonderful work! Tony took the time to fix our system the right way and is extremely knowledgeable and courteous. Highly recommended!!!!!

We recently had our entire backyard landscaped by Berns and I can't recommend them enough. From just one quick visit, Peggy designed a beautiful concept that met the unique needs of our shady yard. Without much input from us, she sketched up an absolute dream backyard. (Seriously, just look at that before and after!)

Each of our (many) questions were addressed almost immediately and sometimes she would even stop by in person to help us better understand the process and take care of our new yard. Their crew was professional, quiet and tidy.

(What more, Bern's was half the price of some of the other quotes we received!)

Berns did a great job understanding my concerns with my current landscaping. They made great recommendations and the end result addressed all of my concerns. My yard is once again beautiful, with landscaping I can maintain. I will strongly endorse them - and I will use their services for my lawn and gardens.

I have used Berns for almost 20 years at 3 different houses. They have always been great to deal with. Great quality, stand behind anything that isn’t right and takes care of it. But the most important thing is that they are rock solid dependable!

Disappointed!!!! I called last week to get a quote for mulch delivery and installation. I talked to Mike he said he would have to check on it and call me back. I have used Berns landscaping several times and was not disappointed but this time with no call back I will take my business elsewhere. Sorry NOT sorry.

I have used berns for years for landscaping installations and maintenance. I appreciate their ability to work with me as I tend to change my mind or make late additions to projects. Recently they installed a fountain and helped me with a large rock garden project. Everything is looking good.
