Landscaping reviews in Warren, Michigan

Greater Detroit Landscaping was at one time a very reputable quality company. This company has gone downhill for so many years. I think they're at the bottom. Lesser Detroit Landscaping please explain how after calling the office asking to have our lawn cut before our party and speaking with the Forman let him know this has to happen, three requests made stating Friday the day before we are having a party at 70 guests Lesser Detroit not only no showed on the Friday they didn't show up the week before. Chris from Lesser, left a voice mail Sorry for the inconvenience the forman had us on the list and just didn't show. He is the biggest loser, very unprofessional. I have asked the management and wrote in on my contract about the problem with the big lawnmower stopping at the bushes and burning a hole in the with the muffler. They have ruin 7 large bushes it will be years to bring them back. I regret not doing this long ago LESSER DETROIT YOU ARE FIRED!!!!!!!!
07/18/2024 Update I received a reply from Bill Whetstone manager I suppose. I was dumbfounded absolutely cannot believe that he would try and lie about their failures including the damage they have done to my bushes. I challenge you Bill to come to my home so I can play the voice mail with the crew manager being very honest, and actually telling the truth. How about a damn apology I think I deserve that Bill Whetstone.
07/29/2024 I received a refund check from my seasonal prepaid lawn service for the second half of the season. I received a second check as well for the two weeks that the forman did not show. I think Bill must have spoke to him and got the rest of the story. I appreciate the return of the money.

Excellent experience. Greater Detroit Landscape has taken care of both lawn & garden and snow removal. I am so pleased with their work. Landscape work is meticulous. Snow removal team arrives so quickly & use such care to remove snow & protect the landscape. They even showed up recently after an ice storm - when there was no snow but a lot of ice - & they showed up & spread the non-salt ice melter to make sidewalks & driveways safe. GDL so rock!! The teams for the different seasons are professional, so helpful, & take great care of the properties - spring, summer, fall & winter. Highly recommend.

I personally didn't visit to make a purchase, but I did want to take a look at (and take pictures of) the flowers since I pass the place often. Great selection!

I drove behind one of their trucks on 8 Mile. The driver was eating something perhaps sunflower seeds or pumpkin seeds. He continued to throw something out the window or spit out the window whatever he was eating. With that type of nastiness, how can you trust that individual to keep up with your yard, your sidewalk, the street in front of your house, etc. they don't care about the landscape, and if they don't care about their image how can they possibly care about yours.

They do excellent work and they do the job right. Highly recommended should you live in the Warren, MI area. They aren't accepting new customers at this time because they are booked solid so it's best to get them before the end of grass cutting season or before they begin cutting. Call them and find out when that is.

Kathy is so sweet. They always did a fantastic job on our lawn and were done in no time which was incredible since our backyard is a little uneven in some spots. They unfortunately had to stop service to our lawn since their daughter got an internship, but they went above and beyond and forwarded us to another lawn care company that will provide us the same service for the same price. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Thank you Acorn family!

I'm looking forward to another season of Lawn cutting service with Acorn Landscaping. They have cut my lawn for 8 years now. The service is fantastic, very reliable. I have a dog they try to be consistent so I know when they are coming. Thank you Acorn.

Kathy at Acorn Lawn did a great job taming the jungle of a lawn that my former tenant left for me. She's personable, responsive and gets the job done. I would highly recommend her and her services to others.

I Love there service. They always return my phone call promptly. There price is reasonable. They charge me $33 a week because I have a small lawn. They do a excellent job. They cut, trim and edge weekly. I have been with them going on four years. Thank you Acorn Landscaping. I appreciate your service.

They are nice enough unfortunately I paid for 4 cuts to start and each time they scalped my front lawn.. only 3 different people did it and the 4th time was worst. They wanted to charge 40 instead of 35 weekly because of edging but only edge every three weeks.. seems like they don't care, now I have to find a new service because they can't do better. They left a ton of grass on top of the lawn and said they can't do a second pass like most companies would since almost no one bags clippings. So between the inability to not Scalp my lawn after weekly reminders and a bad Clean up job I couldn't recommend this company..bad attitude about trying to fix it too, would rather lose the job than do it right. Please don't waste your time.

Did a great job getting rid of some extra dirt i had. Very friendly and willing to go the extra mile. Would use again!
