I would prefer not to give Bratcher any stars but it is required to post a review. Generator repair: I purchased my home with a home installed by Bratcher electrical: Since they installed I decided to have yearly maintenance on the generator done by them. With in 45 days of my second maintenance cycle I had a power outage and after the generator ran for about 2 hours and quit.. I called Bratcher and they responded a technician to review analyze the generator and correct the issue. The tech arrived reviewed the control panel and even though it was reporting under voltage fault he add less than a quarter court of oil. I ask why he needed to add oil since it was just maintenance 45 days ago and his answer was sometimes they burn oil and the oil switch triggers. But he stated he did not see any areas where the oil was going. He restarted the generator and left without any additional remarks. Within 10 minutes after he departed the generator shut again and the fault was under voltage. I reached out to Bratcher and left a message and got no response, I called the next day and discuss the issue with Karen and she made more sense than their technician. Now it august and once again I require generator power and the unit continues to fail, I’ve realized there is an issue in the house that causes the under voltage and have been slowly narrow the possibilities. Today a bill arrived for that service call where nothing was fixed and problems are still present, I’m disappointed they have gull to bill someone who is clearly not happy with their capabilities of fixing the equipment they installed. So I decided to post a negative review and will be replacing this generator with a larger unit. Companies relish repeat business and this is one customer who will seek out another company for a replacement generator.

I stopped in for a conference about getting a whole house generator installed and spoke to Mike Bratcher, he was extremely professional and very helpful! Definitely a company to look into for all your electrical needs!

Bratcher Electric just installed our whole house generator we couldn't be happier with the service we received! Extremely professional from the very first encounter till completion. If you want the VERY BEST than look no further than Bratcher Electric! In my opinion you definitely won't regret it. Thanks for giving me a d my family the piece of mind that only comes from a quality product.

We contacted Bratcher Electric to help us with some issues with our home. We are completely satisfied with their service. The technician was prompt, knowledge and professional. I highly recommend this company for anybody needing a reliable electrician.

Our neighbors had a great experience with the company. So, I called to schedule an estimate for a new service entrance, panel upgrade, and whole house generator. Very professional and easy to set up. Mike Bratcher, the owner, came out. He was not rushed, was personable, and he walked though a few general options and answered questions.

However, it's now been over 3 weeks without any estimate or contact from them. I left a voicemail with the company, spoke to someone directly to confirm my contact information and let them know I hadn't received the estimate, and I emailed Mike Bratcher directly from the information he gave on his business card.

I was really looking forward to working with Bratcher but I'm confused as to what has happened. This type of thing has happened with a few other companies I've dealt with recently. It's baffling to me that companies would take the time to do an estimate for free but never complete it.

I'm not trying to bash this company as a whole and it's not personal, but just putting my experience out there.

Had generator starting issue last night. Called 9:00am today and they sent representative out by 11:00 am
Lucas is one of the most courteous, polite service representatives I have ever experienced. He diagnosed the issue and was able to correct the problem to his satisfaction without replacing expensive parts.

Started with a Generac rep from Home Depot who tried to upsell to a larger than necessary whole house generator and listed all sorts of limitations in placement and additional costs for installation…Eric Bratcher came out and quoted us according to what we needed and with a location that was safe and not an eyesore…we saved $5k. From initial phone call, estimate, and installation, they were fantastic. Cannot recommend them enough. (If you are interested act sooner rather than later, they had a 5 month wait)

Super nice office staff. Just recently had a new service panel installed and the guys did a great job. They explained everything that they were going to do and a time frame when they thought they would be completed. I’m very particular and everything went great. I’ve dealt with Bratcher Electric in the past and so far have not disappointed. Thank you all at Bratcher Electric for the great service.

I can’t say enough about our experience with Bratcher. We had a generator installed by them and are very happy with it. There was an extremely tedious and at times ridiculous inspection process with the city of Royal Oak and Emily did a wonderful job managing it to ensure we got over the finish line. I can’t say enough good things about this business.
