We called Rock Solid to complete a rock bed border around our house. Jeff quickly came out and took the measurements and provided us with a quote and a beautiful blueprint of the design 1 day later. 2 weeks later the guys were beginning the project. It took them 2 days and these were the most polite and tidy guys that were working on our project. Everything was explained to us and went according to the plan. We couldn’t be happier with the service and results! We plan to use Rock Solid again next year when we landscape some of our woods. Definitely give these hometown guys a call!

Very polite and professional. Transparent and willing to discuss anything and everything about their procedures to achieve the goal of completing the project you have. The deck looks amazing and we are enjoying it for every moment we can the rest of this year. Avery at Rock Solid is very punctual and quick at responding if you reach out at any time.
Rock Solid also does our irrigation maintenance and we have not had any issues we have had with other irrigation maintenance companies(lack of communication and poor quality of seasonal tasks).

Phenomenal experience! My new deck looks flawless! Avery and Team were at my home to build a standard no stairs deck. The team was incredibly respectful. Rock Solid is awesome. We've worked with them for many years and they always complete their work to 100%. After a deck addition this winter, we had several broken heads and cut lines. Rock Solid quickly (and neatly) completed the repairs and got our irrigation system up and running again. We greatly appreciate their professionalism and expertise.

Patrick Popehn and his crew were one of the best things to happen at our new home build. Patrick took care of things that were really not even his responsibility, just to make sure things got done on time and done correctly. He routinely sent us texts and emails so we always knew what was going on. He is the type of business person you always hope you will deal with. The finished landscaping and driveway look AWESOME!

Homeowners: beware - hidden fees & poor communication.

We hired Rock Solid Landscape & Irrigation to extend an existing rock bed with vinyl edging to match what we already had. The proposal and rendering illustrated vinyl edging all the way around — but mid-project, the crew told us there would be an extra $1,500 charge to add it to the outer edges beneath our fence line. The conversation we had with the onsite crew was about bumping the bed back past the fence line (like our previous bed already was), while apparently they were referencing adding vinyl edging to the back fence line. After the rock went in and they called it “done,” we were told it would now be $3,000 more just to add vinyl edging along the back side — leaving us with rocks spilling into our neighbors’ yards.

This is a textbook case of hidden change fees and poor project management. Jeff, the project manager, allowed the crew to deliver and communicate a major change order without ever clarifying with us. Once complete, Jeff told us that "natural edging" was the norm for most projects - although during our initial consultation and walk through before work started, the term "natural edging" had NEVER come up. We were also told over and over that the work they were doing would match our existing bed (which has vinyl edging all the way around). Jim, the owner, backed this up with ego instead of taking responsibility for his team’s miscommunication and doing right by the customer. Their lack of accountability, empathy, and detail was the downfall of this project.

Alex and the crew did great physical work, but it’s a shame their effort is overshadowed under such unprofessional leadership. This company has a pattern of hidden fees and misaligned expectations. Would NEVER recommend.

SOOOO happy we went with Rock Solid for our landscaping! Their designer met with us, took our thoughts of what we were dreaming of for our landscape, and brought it to life. They were incredibly well versed in plants, rocks, mulch… well, pretty much everything landscaping! Ha! They coordinated with our concrete guys (Concrete Images) and with the crew installing our sprinkler system at the same time, and made all of it happen together masterfully. They brought ideas and recommendations that were incredibly helpful, and were super flexible with us throughout the project. They kept our minds at ease through the whole process. I absolutely recommend these guys - you’ll be happy with the outcome!

Great company and great ownership. Brandon, Justin and Tom do great work and they strive to provide quality service. Best does quite a few our commercial accounts and have been our go to vendor for maintaining our commercial properties that are in their service area, and the work is great. They pickup the phone or get back to me very quickly. If an issue comes up they are calling and telling me what is going on. Their team is on top of it, communication is great and I would recommend them to other property owners.
