I have worked with Dominick and his team on a patio project for my parents house. I had a small issue that I brought to their attention and I am leaving the review because they took immediate action and even did more than we asked. They took true pride in their work!

A year ago during a wet snowstorm we had a large tree fall over in a berm area of our yard. It had to be removed leaving a large void in the landscape. I contacted GOne and their Designer Thomas helped us come up with a great plan to repair the area. They used boulders to stabilize the berm but also considered the importance of creating planting nooks. In addition, the plan included a dry riverbed for rainstorm drainage and a sitting area overlooking the rest of the yard. The GOne on-sight crew of Joby and team Jaime made the plan come to reality. We appreciate the builder team to allow us to adjust the design on the fly to fit the feel of the area. This was a cooperative effort by the owners and on-site team from beginning to end. I look forward to that first cocktail or morning coffee in the new sitting area. Thanks for a great job.

We recently used ground one for a rebuild of about 100 feet of retaining wall, creation of a berm, and the install of over 70 plants and trees. We did have an issue with the design after work started, but it was quickly brought to our attention and the team provided multiple options to resolve. Points of contact were responsive and the crew was wonderful to work with. Very happy with the results, would use again for future projects.

We landscaped our back yard this year after using Ground One last year for our steep front hill. After a few changes in designers, we have a lovely new garden. Antonio was the lead installer and he was easy to work with and his team were hard workers even in the warm weather. Plants that didn't make it through the winter were replaced and we added some more steps at the last minute. No problem, they were installed and the whole project looks great.

Ground One did a bit of everything for us; removed dead arborvitae, planted new aspen trees, removed an inground basketball hoop and laid some landscaping rock. All the work was excellent. Sean was excellent to work with and was very responsive. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing work done.

We recently worked with the Ground One team on a project to renovate a section of our backyard. They replaced our old deck, built a new paver patio, and created new landscaping. We worked with Dominick on the design portion, and Joby, Austin and Jaime on the construction portion. Overall, the Ground One team was highly professional and responsive from start to finish. They worked hard to stay within our budget, and had a nice attention to detail for the duration of the project. Our new backyard area looks great! Would certainly recommend the Ground One for this type of project.

We worked with Ground One in 2020 on a landscaping project in our front yard and have been very happy with the results. This year we worked with Ground One on gardening services for the front yard. Lindsey was very helpful in identifying a fungus on our pachysandra. She helped us determine an approach for treatment that has worked very well; we really appreciate her expertise. This year we also engaged Ground One to do a project in our backyard to address erosion and lack of ground cover due to shade. The team has been excellent, from Dominick in design, to Sean the project manager, and Ryan the lead on the landscaping team. The project was completed on time and on budget. We would definitely recommend Ground One.

Ground One Landscaping worked on a large part of my front, side and backyard. Boulders were placed front and back by another company prior to their work. They did an excellent job in planning the layout, chose appropriate plants, lighting and also were able to replace a front walk with bricks matching my home front. Their workmanship, quality of their workers and the supervision by their experts was superb in every way. I found them all very personable and were great with answering my questions and helping add to the project in a meaningful way.

I recommend them in every way.

I wanted a design for my entire yard that reflected my love of woodland nature and nodded to a peaceful meditation garden. The landscape designer that I met with, Dominick, understood exactly what I was looking for and created a design that fit my vision perfectly. The project had to be coordinated with another project that was gong on concurrently (a deck rebuild) and everything went smoothly. The project manager, Sean, communicated clearly and professionally. Sean explained in detail how to care and maintain the new plants to ensure that they successfully survive the winter. I'm very pleased with my new landscape and the professionalism of the team.

The only issues: they had accidentally dug up our internet cable--but, in fairness, they were not marked properly. They paid for the repairs. Also, a wildflower that I had wanted was substituted for a different one because it was no longer available, and I wasn't aware until the end. But considering the complexity and scale of the project, this is a minor detail.

Overall, I'm very happy with this company, their work, and my new yard--and I would strongly recommend them.

Recently, we had our front yard re-landscaped by Ground One. The entire process, from design to execution, was tremendous. The crew was creative, skilled and respectful of our space, coming up with solutions when tree roots didn't cooperate and other small problems came up. Communication with the company was easy, swift and open. We are extremely satisfied with the results, as we now look at a stunning landscape that was transformed from an old and tired lawn. Thanks to Dominick and Robert for a great design, as well as Joby's exceptional eye and management of a great team that included Austin and the rest of the crew.

We had a great experience with the Ground One team from start to finish. The owner met me at my house to see the site and agree it was a good fit. The designer did a great job creating the plan quickly. The PM communicated effectively on start dates and what to expect. The finished job looks and feels awesome and the construction team had great attention to detail and good problem solving. The team cleaned up the workspace and made good reuse of nice boulders found underground. I have every intention to hire them again and would 100% recommend Ground One.

We had a great experience working with Alex and would recommend his services. He was quick to respond, easy to work with, and kept us informed on timing and pricing throughout the project. We came with a clear vision and budget, and Alex did a great job helping us bring it to life. His hardscaping work turned out beautifully—our small front yard paver walkway and railroad tie retaining wall look terrific, and both were constructed with care using the right drainage techniques. Lastly, Alex was flexible and fairly priced, which we really appreciated.
