Alex built a 2 tier retaining wall with a compliant design he ran by me first, cleared away the old wall and nearby branches/brush, and finished with mulch and fabric. He took advantage with the weather in March and April to start and finish. Alex is extremely detailed with weekly updates, presented an estimate almost identical to completed costs, and built a wall that included latest strength and drainage concepts. It looks wonderful!!!

Alex did a front paver patio for us this summer. He does great quality work and makes sure the job is done right!.

I had some landscaping rock I wanted removed and bare soil needing attention on my front lawn. I contacted several landscaping companies around Minneapolis and most basically told me my job was too small for them to take on, often telling me so without even coming by the house to inspect. Alex at Pine Landscaping responded to my inquiry within a day of submitting, and was the only person/company to swing by and take a look at the project. He gave me high level thoughts in the moment on time and expense, along with a window of availability in his schedule to complete (roughly two-three weeks later). We confirmed everything a few days after his visit.

On the day the project began, Alex arrived on time and delivered as described with his team over the next 2.5 days. I couldn’t be happier with the transformation performed on my front lawn, regardless of how small the project may have appeared to others. Alex delivered on time and within budget. I have several other smaller projects tied to my landscaping that I hope to complete over the next year or so, and I will definitely be reaching out to Alex and his team as we move toward completing those items. To anyone reading this, I highly recommend Alex and his team for any landscaping or other analogous projects you may have to tackle!

Alex recently finished our patio and I can’t recommend him enough. He communicated so well with us throughout the process, was extremely kind and, and went above and beyond our expectations. His work is so high quality and he seemed to care about the project just as much as we do. He was creative with the design and reused a lot of material from our previous patio to save us cost. When all was said and done, he came in *under* his initial estimate (which was about half any other estimate we received). I would highly recommend him for any landscaping project. Thank you, Alex! Alex and his team did an amazing job on our retaining walls. It was a tough project because of the steep incline but he walked us through his plan, explained the materials, and kept us updated the whole way. He was super easy to work with and had such a great attitude. We’d absolutely have him back for future projects.

Alex did a phenomenal job with our very complex landscaping & paver project (tree roots galore just below ground level, many elevation & angle changes that required precise calibration).
