Reviews of local pros in Coon Rapids, Minnesota

Had Ricky and his team out to remove a dead tree and remove a large backyard garden and reset with new sod. His team did an amazing job! They were quick, efficient and thorough. The backyard looks brand new and it definitely will get plenty of use! We wouldn’t hesitate to reach back out to this team with any further yard projects we have in the future.

Had these guys come and drop a few trees close to the house, they did a great job and cleaned up afterwards. Was fast to come and quote and fast to have the work done. Verry professional

Had a dead ash tree in my yard, and my neighbors did all the legwork and got a bunch of quotes and went with Goldentree. My other neighbor signed on as well, so I asked my neighbor if he would let them know about my tree. He did.

I met the owner that morning and paid them, and he had indeed added me to the list. I left my house at 8:15 and came back at 10:10 to grab my golf clubs. Both my neighbors ash trees were gone and mine was 3/4 gone.

The next morning his team came and removed the stumps. I looked outside and they were making and leaf blowing the remains. Besides the little hill that led to the base of the trunk, it was pristine.

I then tilled the hump, moved 4 wheelbarrows of dirt, flattened my lawn and planted a new tree.

Great service. Great price. Great workers.

Extremely efficient. Very reasonable cost. Very nice people. Five stars for sure !! I’m recommending them to my friends and so far one of them is going to call him. Also it’s fun to watch how they do it. They cut a very large tree down for us.

First time customer. Would definitely use again. The crew did a great job cutting and removing several large trees from our backyard. All interactions were prompt, friendly, and professional. Thanks

Loved reading all the glowing reviews of Golden Tree and Ricky and his very professional, highly skilled, and hardworking crew. I also had the pleasant experience of hiring them to cut down two trees (in separate incidences) in my backyard this summer. One was an apple tree who's diseased limbs, heavy with fruit, broke on to my deck and blocked my back stairway. The other was storm damage to a huge old linden tree that crashed a big limb on to my neighbors house and the whole tree needed to be removed ....hopefully as soon as possible.

It was an easy choice to choose Golden Tree over the other bids I got, and the other very large companies I have used in the past. Ricky, the owner himself, responded quickly and came to give me estimates for both trees. He also fit us into his schedule as soon as he could. Pricing was fair and honest, too.

Both jobs were done with great skill and attention to limiting further damage to lawn and gardens, and clean up was fast and timely, Including stump grinding on separate days.

But what makes GoldenTree stand out and what is evident from all their reviews...is the pleasant quality and genuine honest work ethic both the boss and crew bring to the job. This is reflected in how they treat each other as well as how the work with their clients. You can't ask for a better experience. Highly recommend!

Giant walnut tree was splitting apart and a danger to our home. the crew came out quickly to remove the tree and raise surrounding canopies. Did an amazing job and cleaned up all the debris. Highly recommend GoldenTree!

Ricky and his crew did an absolutely AMAZING job on removing a large elm tree that wasn't doing so well from our yard. We needed it cut down before it split and did damage to our house or the neighbors' property. They were fast, efficient and friendly. They made it all seem so effortless and the price was very reasonable. It was fun to watch them work! We couldn't afford to have the stump ground out this time, but will have them back to get rid of it in the future. I highly recommend them!

WOW!!! Truly, Ricky and his crew did an incredible job. They were meticulous, highly organized, and in control of the work every step of the way. We have worked with numerous tree companies over the years, but this experience really blew us away from beginning to end. Ricky is very passionate about his business and we found that inspiring and uplifting. I look forward to future projects with this company!

I am so glad I found Ricky and his wonderful crew to both remove and trim some trees for me. He contacted me almost immediately after I sent him an inquiry and was out the next day. Exceptional work and when they left I didn't have to do ANY clean up. I wish I could give him 10 stars but 5 will have to do. If I ever need additional help with landscaping, I won't even call for other bids. His was very fair and I was thrilled with the work. A+++! THANK YOU RICKY!

Golden Tree did an amazing job. We are very pleased with the final outcome!
We had a ton of weeds and brush and trees that were growing where they weren't supposed to be growing. The team at Golden tree did an excellent job of trimming back tree branches, pulling weeds and overgrowth in front of our house and on the side of our house. Our yard looks so much better and we couldn't be Happier! Our yard looks like someone lives here and cares about their yard again! I'm happy!
Thank You Ricky and Golden Tree landscaping team!

These guys were great from start to finish. Honest, professional, great price. Cleaned up our yard so nice after, blew off our roof and made sure all twigs were cleaned up. Happy customer. Thank you Golden tree.

Ricky and his team did a great job with my tree removal. They had great customer service, showed up on time and did exactly what was requested and expected. Added bonus they were able to get us on the schedule quick!

Ricky and his crew did a real nice job of removing a tree close to our house in the front yard.Friendly workers that did a fantastic job.
Job well done. Thanks
Had Rickey and his crew back to remove a tree in the back yard also. Will recomend to others.

The tree crews are very professional and quick. They performed per my request. They cleaned up all debris. I strongly recommended this tree crews for your tree service needs. And by the way, the tree service price is very affordable.

Ricky and crew did a great job removing my trees and grinding down the remaining stumps in a follow up visit.
Everyone on the crew I interacted with was friendly and professional. They worked quick and cleaned up all the resulting debris in the yard. Aside from the holes where the trees were, you’d never even know they were here! (I’m sure they would have also filled/seeded those holes for a charge, but I am doing that on my own)
Talking to Ricky throughout the process.. he responds quickly, is a smart, personable & genuine guy that seems to take pride in the work his crew does.

Ricky and his crew did a really nice job removing a tree near our house in the front yard. Cleaned up all the debris. If you need tree service, I strongly recommend this tree crew.
Tomorrow, stump grinding has been scheduled. I'll give them a review once the stump is finished.

Ricky’s company is a top
10. Responsive, prompt, fair pricing, safety conscious. Valid liability & work comp insurance. They did exactly what we hired. A climber carefully cut off limbs of a mature oak, next to a deck. Then cut sections of trunk down to base as low as possible. We wanted all wood & brush left on site. Definitely hope to hire Ricky & crew again for trimming of other trees.

Ricky came by for an estimate and was very friendly and reasonable. Once we scheduled, Ricky and crew got started right away. They showed up promptly on time, and worked efficiently and safely to get the job done.

If I could give Ricky and his crew 10 stars I would!! They do a fantastic work!! They removed a willow tree this year, regraded the area to get it ready for me to lay sod. They also re - did the edging in my perennial garden in my backyards to the inexperience of the previous landscaping company’s work. They are very thorough , detail oriented, and did an awesome job of clean up in everything that they did. They are very quick to respond and to do the work. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to do any landscaping work and tree removal that you might need.

Quick communication as well as professional & effective work!
