Better Air Inc.

Tom at Better Air was accomodating, explained things in detail and had great customer service when intalling our ERV system. It feels good to support this local company that cares about their customer base as friends and neighbors.

We had a new air conditioner and furnace installed in December. The initial install was fine, although I had to be the one to call and see when they planned on coming (oh! We are coming tomorrow-hope that’s okay). Thankfully the two techs that came were very kind and did a great job. U fortunately, another miscommunication and I had to call back to remind them of the promise they had made to install a vent to help with heat distribution. Fast forward to springtime and I called to get our air conditioner fully hooked up-lo and behold…ANOTHER miscommunication. A rude technician came out to realize that the job was not what he expected, and it would be a 3-4 hour 2 person job. That was after he made it out to be our fault that we didn’t communicate properly (as you can see, there is a pattern…….) I called back to let them know the situation and they admitted to the miscommunication after explaining how busy they are and how many customers they have, we got lost on the shuffle. Unfortunately we had already paid our $13,000 bill and so we don’t have much recourse. Thankfully for us the same two technicians came out a few days later and they did a great job and were very kind, which I appreciated. I have been less than impressed by the record keeping, documentation and really, complete carelessness from them. I cannot recommend them after the numerous “miscommunications” we experienced and excuses. There really is no excuse for running a company, especially when your paying customer has to be the one to stay on top of it and make sure it’s getting done correctly. Next time we will be taking our business elsewhere. The sad thing is is that Tom, the salesman, knew that I was very upset about the situation and promised to make things right, and yet I did not receive a call or a check in after the air conditioner was fully installed to make sure everything was okay and competed to the bare minimum satisfaction. If I had a frustrated customer that voiced their frustrations and the 4 mess ups they already had, I would be sure to check in and just make sure everything was completed and to thank them for their business. Just another reason why I will choose to spend my money elsewhere next time.

Jackson was extremely knowledgeable and just went along and did his business and recapped findings at the end! Highly recommend!
