Chad did a great job fixing up our bathroom after some water damage, a year later, we hired him again to remodel our basement. He helped us get what we needed, working within our budget, and planning ahead to make sure everything was done to code. Most importantly, he understood that this was a big investment for us and that we would see it every day. We had only one slight missunderstanding about some insulation, and Chad didn't hesitate to change it, and make sure we were happy with the results. I would recommend him to anyone.

Capital City just finished renovating our basement in Richfield! They did a great job! The project manager Jeremy Gerten and his crew Tom, Jake and Raphy did an excellent job as well. They were always on time, very polite and finished the project earlier than expected. Looking forward to be using Capital City in the future and we will recommend this company to the people we know!

Do not hesitate to hire Capital City Construction & Remediation for your mold removal/remediation and damage repair needs. We have had countless companies work on different projects for our home (to say we purchased a lemon is an understatement at this point) but we have never felt truly happy/impressed with past experiences with any of the companies we hired. So, when we found mold in 3 of our bedroom closets and upstairs bathrooms, we were scouring the internet and neighborhood forums for good recommendations/reviews. Enter Capital City. Right off the bat, their quick, kind, and professional response to our inquiry was reassuring. Our project manager, Jeremy, was so attentive, punctual, and upfront and you could tell he genuinely cared about his work and making sure we were satisfied with the scope and completion of the project. The first group of guys that came in (Andrew, Reagan, Nate, and Al) were over the top professional, courteous, and reassuring (one of them even brought our garbage/recycling cans back up from the curb! Talk about going above and beyond!). Then we had Glen come to do the taping and mudding after all the mold was dealt with, and he was so quick and efficient, and once again, over the top professional and courteous. After Glen finished up, Fernando came to complete the rest including painting. Fernando was extremely detail oriented and continuously checked in with us to make sure we were happy with his work, and even corrected the caulking around one of the bathroom sinks. This was the first time that we didn’t have that weird off-putting feeling of strangers being in and out of our home, because every single person that came through our door for the entirety of this project was top notch. We so greatly appreciate the genuine care they had for the work they were doing. They are the first company that we would not hesitate to contact again when something else inevitably needs work in our home. 100% would recommend!

We asked around for recommendations to repair our roof after a storm toppled a large tree and damaged the roof from front to back. Capital Construction’s name came up more than once. We can see why. They did a great job with all the repairs! They were very responsive, had great communication, and willing to work around our schedule. We’ve even called them back for other home repairs. Highly recommend!

Chad and his crew have done mold remediation for us in the past, and did a spectacular job, very knowledgeable about everything they do. It went so well we had them come out and do a remodel/repair of our main living space and bathroom. They did a fabulous job, were very kind, respectful, and considerate of our schedule, and family life. Chad made great recommendations to make things look good while saving us money. His crew is a very nice bunch of guys. Highly recommend them!

We needed a new custom kitchen island replaced and downstairs ceiling repaired after the dishwasher failed spectacularly. The team from Capital City Construction & Remediation handled everything beautifully. Jeremy, the project manager, coordinated every step of the process making sure we understood all our options. Jeremy was very responsive and on top of all the details. Dave, the cabinet maker, built an incredible new kitchen cabinet including custom door and drawer fronts to match the rest of the kitchen. Glen handled the basement ceiling repair and feathered in the work so well that you could not tell that a 4x4 foot hole had been in the ceiling. Fernando did a great job painting the basement ceiling without disturbing the adjacent walls and cabinets. Frank handled the cabinet stain work, going just slightly lighter on the stain to better match the surrounding cherry as it would darken over time. Travis carefully reinstalled the granite kitchen counter top and sink on the island to match the other counter tops. Dan did a great job plumbing everything, and even relocated the reverse osmosis water filtration system to the basement to reduce the risk of any leaks. Tim, the electrician, professionally installed outlets, switches, and power to the new dishwasher and garbage disposal. It was a great team effort with Jeremy organizing everything, even working directly with the insurance adjuster on estimates. I fully recommend this team to anyone needing custom home remodeling or repair, and I intend to call on them again for any future work. custom kitchen island replaced and downstairs ceiling repaired after the dishwasher failed spectacularly.

I don’t even know where to start this review other than to say call Capital City for your next remodeling project, you won’t be disappointed!! Chad and his team are amazing.
Jake lead our project and I can’t even think of enough good things to say about him, always on time, every question, every concern we had he addressed and took care of it right away.
Chad stands by his word, you will never feel unheard and his communication is on point and immediate. Capital City was the fist company out to bid our project and out of all the other bids we collected we just kept coming back to them, we just knew Capital City would be a great fit for us and Chad could be trusted, never once did he make us feel like our dream was out of reach!
We remodeled most of our main floor, took out a wall and gutted our Kitchen, Living Room, Dining Room and Bathroom. I am obsessed with the way everything turned out and am so proud to call this my home 💜

Capital City is an amazing company to work with! I’ve used them for several fire claims and they always deliver above and beyond. All the staff I’ve worked closely Brain and Koehl have also been great with communication prioritizing the steps needed in order to make a smooth transition. I highly recommend them for any construction/ remediation/ fire damage! 10/10. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

I would like to give a great thank you to Chad and Brian. Exquisite work and great on timing. They did a wonderful job on the front of our building. We had extreme water damage to the face of our building. Not only, did the workers come out, they worked on a Saturday and Sunday, so they wouldn't disrupt our customers. We had a complete renovation of our condo, updating it from the 1980’s, and it all turned out much more impressive than we expected. It was so easy to work with Capital City, they were responsive to all my questions. Jeremy worked patiently with us during the planning and construction process. Al and Alex were consummate professionals in all of their carpentry skills. Edison and Fernando painted the ceilings and walls as we requested. Sam did a tremendous job cleaning up at the close of the project. If we are in need of additional work we would contact Capital City as we were completely satisfied with their work. We’ll also gladly refer others to them as well. Thank you so much for making our home just what we wanted.

I can’t say enough good things about Capital City. From the owners to the crew, every person was awesome. I was impressed with the team’s communication and timeliness. That’s so hard to find in a contractor. Better still, their craftsmanship was excellent. They replaced all the windows in our home as well as siding. They’ll be my go to contractor for all of my future needs!

For nearly 20 years, we lived in our home with an outdated basement, and after countless conversations about remodeling, we finally decided to move forward. We hired Capital City Construction, and Jeremy was our Project Manager. He guided us through the design process, helped with selections, and truly brought our vision to life.

Everyone on the Capital City team listened to our vision and provided thoughtful ideas throughout the project. Tom came in, ran the show, and offered great suggestions. Al was our talented carpenter, and Raphy worked independently with great skill. Fernando handled all the painting beautifully, and Edison was always happy to help with anything we needed. Frank did an excellent job on the fireplace, Glen took care of the mudding and taping, Dan and Cole fixed the many plumbing problems, John handled the HVAC work, and Raul and Jeremy took care of the electrical and fixed many electrical issues along the way.

Every crew member and subcontractor was professional, skilled, and respectful of our home. We are beyond pleased with the results and only wish we had done this sooner. We will definitely hire Capital City Construction again for our next project!

Our first project with Capital City was updating our staircase. Dave did a tremendous job understanding our vision and then creating a beautiful masterpiece. Our second project was to put new windows in our entire house. We were able to also update all of our exterior doors and still come in lower than many other company's bids. Jeremy was great at helping us decide on the best updates and we absolutely love the finished product. We could not have enjoyed the crew that worked here any more. Jake, Tom, Al, Fernando, and Raffi were very professional, friendly, and attentive to detail. We are already planning our next project with Capital City and cannot wait to work with them again!

The team at Cap City is really second to none. My wife and I had our townhome first floor completely redone by Chad Mark and the great team at Cap City. From the very start, They listened to us to ensure that they understood exactly what we wanted. They put together an exceptional plan, pointing out things that we never thought of and made sure throughout the project that we were informed knew exactly what was going on, and that any questions we had were immediately answered. The quality of their work is really second to none the team that they have Jake, Tom and everyone else really made the experience pleasurable, I can say this without fear of contradiction, anyone that uses Cap City builders will write a similar review because these guys know exactly what they’re doing and they really do everything well! They are exceptional professionals! Every one of them is a genuine good person.
