2022/23 Update:
While Haven had done lots of great work in the past, they’ve dropped off the face of the earth and communication about the last prospective project was a hot mess.

We hired Haven Builders to replace our gutters, soffits and fascia on our 92-year-old home. They were able to get the project done quickly, on a reasonable budget and had very consistent and open communication with us. We'll use them again for our next project.

Haven Builders completed water damage removal and repair plus the installation of a large patio entry door. The project from the proposal to the completion went very well and the finished door looks great. I will use Haven Builders again and would highly recommend them!

Haven was very clear on the process of working with insurance for storm damage, as well as the costs. They were very professional and knowledgeable. The install foreman was very personable and accommodating to my requests. They worked in a timely manner to get the project done before the deadline that I had. There was a piece of shingle flashing that wasn’t installed correctly and they came back promptly and made it right. Overall great experience!

Haven Builders completed a reroofing project on my house in the fall of 2022. They did an outstanding job and brought the project in under budget and on time. Mike Sleem was great to work with and very customer oriented. His production crew was very professional. I would highly recommend him for any project on your home and will definitely use his company on the future projects!

Haven Builders were great to work with right from the start. They were professional and thorough laying out each step for us. They stayed on schedule and finished job on time. Did a walk through at the end of the job and made a couple of minor changes I requested. Workers were on time and cleaned everything up. They communication was wonderful. Very positive experience with Haven Builders. They replaced our roof after sustaining hail/wind damage and did some minor carpentry work on the siding. The project manager, Elijah, was very professional, responsive, and paid attention to detail. He walked us through the options and the insurance process, worked with the adjustor to get what we needed without trying to add on any unreasonable or suspect damage, and did an all-around great job. The work crew was friendly and respectful of the property and did a good job.

I loved working with Haven Builders. Highly professional, respectful, skilled contractor. They know their way around gutters and layed out the options for me by probably the best estimator I’ve ever worked with in my 19 years as a homeowner, great clear communication and reasonably priced. I can’t say enough good things about them. It’s obvious from start to finish that they care about doing quality work first and foremost.

We are very happy with the quality work and service we got from Haven. They replaced our roof and downspouts due to hail damage, and repainted damaged wood railings as well. All of the work is excellent, and they also helped negotiate with our insurance company to arrange payment. I would recommend Haven for work on your home.

We worked with Haven to restore our kitchen after a water loss. They provided great direction and dealt with our insurance company directly to minimize our involvement in the chaotic process. We truly appreciated their sense of urgency to our situation and their diligence in keeping our project moving forward despite some unforeseen delays. Great overall craftmanship and quality work! Haven Builders was recommended by my home owners insurance policy company after a serious sewer backup. Once everything was cleaned up and ready for reconstruction, they came in. From the very start they were professional, explained the process to me, and what to expect as far as timelines and communication. Once they got started, someone was at my house almost every day. The plumbers, drywall, painters, electrical, and flooring teams were all amazing. Derek the PM was in contact with me almost every day telling me what the next steps were and asking if I was satisfied with their work or had any concerns.

I will definitely use Haven Builders again - although hopefully for a fun project next time. :)

Haven builders did a great job on our roof, interior drywall and cedar closet. Derek and other employees were professional, kind and efficient. We are happy with the results.

Our insurance, through a 3rd party company meant to find a contractor and pay said contractors, referred us to Haven for ice dam repair, including refinishing our hardwood floors. They were terrible to work with, from start to finish. It took 6 months for the work to be completed, leaving exterior walls and ceilings uninsulated in the dead of winter. They engaged movers to move our furniture out in order to refinish the wood floors, who left walls and the newly refinished floors damaged. The work completed C-level. And the worst part of it all, they threatened us with a lien days before Thanksgiving because of a contract dispute that Haven had with the third party that Haven CHOSE to do business through. They continued the lein threats even after the legal time limit had passed. Avoid if possible!

Although the work Haven Builders performed had to be done only after a long delay, since work was first needed in an adjacent room performed by other contractors. However, as soon as that work was finished, Havens workers went to work and did an outstanding job, complying with every request made and did the work to perfection i'm very with the results..

We had a great experience working with Haven Builders to do some restoration work after water damage. They were very responsive to set up a time for the estimate and they provided a detailed estimate for our use and for the insurance company. Once we were ready to proceed they were quick to schedule the work to be done and it was done quickly and with very high quality. Everyone we worked with was helpful and responsive.

Everyone was very professional and kept us informed through the whole process! The worst was dealing with my insurance, Mike made this process very easy.
