Once our solar was installed, its been impossible to actually get a hold of customer service/our sales rep. We don't produce more energy then we use so our "bill swap" happens only 3-4 months a year.

When we were talking through stuff with our sales rep, they mentioned that if Blue Raven miss calculated our needs they would be able to provide us panels or other things to offset the miss calculation, however that will never happen if we can't get a hold of anyone!

The guys showed up on the assigned day even though we’d had a snow event overnight and the roads and traffic were terrible. They managed to install the electric and solar panels even though the roof was icy. Great job by all (and they even put up with my bad jokes)!

Blue Raven claimed to have installed our solar panels when they didn't and we have no relationship with them. A sales representative was in our neighborhood and specifically used our name to multiple neighbors in hopes of gaining neighbors' business. Don't lie about work you didn't do. It makes you wonder what else they would lie about.

They did a really great job! I would’ve given 5 stars except for the fact that my dog keeps finding plastic all over the yard. Little round disc’s.

Two guys in jacked up gas guzzling RAM pulled up to my home. They spent over an hour talking to me, redirected/didn't answer several of my questions. The whole thing felt sketchy. They said they'd send a quote within a few days, but never contacted me again.

I then get texts from Blue Raven, MONTHS later. "Hey you want a new quote?" "You still interested?"

The freak are you talking about? It's been months. You think I waited around for a quote or a text?

You made me incredibly uncomfortable during your one hour+ long sales pitch and then didn't even follow up with me for a quote when I specifically requested one. And when you said you would send one over in just a few days!?

I went with a local competitor of there's and was much happier. Great customer service, and they actually replied to me. Did what they said. Check out Centauri Systems. Avoid Blue Raven.

All in all everybody was super nice the equipment seems to be nice and everything was great. My initial inspection guy that came out even gave me a handful of pointers and talked me through a few things that he was concerned about with our electrical to keep us safe and he did not have to do that which was very nice of him. My only gripes that I have is, my original sales guy that came out and told me the panels and that was my contact left the company and he was not replaced so I basically had like a one month of no contact and I know this is probably just a fluke thing, and technically not really blue Ravens issue but it would have been nice had they followed up and attached a new person or done something like that, instead of me just waving in the wind it took me contacting them and saying "hey I don't have anybody to talk to, who am I supposed to contact?" And then within a couple of days of that they had a new contact assigned to me to manage my account, and she was very kind. Also I had to have some electrical work done and that wasn't disclosed until AFTER I signed all the paper work, which sucked because I had to pull 5k dollars out of my butt to make it happen, it was necessary because our original box was dangerous and not wired properly, but it would of swayed my opinion of getting them right away. So all in all everything was remedied everything has been great so far but my panels have not been turned on yet so I don't have any experience with that or how the equipment works, but if needed I'll come back to comment on that later. All in all definitely worth the buy so far and they're way cheaper than I would of thought. We have a 3k square foot house and it'll only be about 150 a month to pay for all the pannels to power the whole house.

After the fact I became aware the installation was not done correctly and another tech had to resolve it so the power company could complete the meter change.
I’m still waiting for the power company and Blue Raven to coordinating the witness test to finally get hooked up.
Frustrating and disappointing to wait this long after the initial installation from August.

When we set out to get solar, I thought the experience would be long and full of reams of paper work. Blue Raven completely exceeded my expectations. They took care of all the paperwork involving our HOA, city permits, and our electric company. All we had to do was very minimal. Trevor our sales rep explained everything clearly and answered all our questions, and Dillon the head of the install team was efficient and polite. Very pleased with our new panels.

Garrett, Adrian and Valentine were all professional, polite, knowledgeable and expeditious. Cleanup and review was complete and timely.

The Kansas City Crew 1 led by Angel Sanchez was outstanding! The team was very personable, efficient and competent with the installation of my solar panels. Answered all my questions and I am very satisfied with the work done and my overall experience.

Amending my review again with more kudos to Blue Raven Solar. They've been incredibly patient and thorough, guiding me through every step of the solar panel installation, inspection, and energization process. After my recent post, they reached out immediately to help clarify things. While I'm still waiting to see the savings reflected in my Xcel bill, I feel more assured now about my solar system's performance, all thanks to the Blue Raven team. They've gone above and beyond in their communication and clarity. I just wish dealing with Xcel in Minnesota was as smooth as working with Blue Raven Solar. Highly recommended.

I am going to take back almost everything I said here back in April. It is now August, so 4 months have passed since the installation, that I was so happy about, but nothing still works as it should.

Blue Raven Solar has terrible post-project support and no work order is completed on time, if any. Because of that our electric company Xcel still won't count any generated kWts against our household power consumption and I get no credit for the power sent to the grid (which I was promised so passionately during the sales process).

No help from BRS support either: no firm dates, no firm estimates or promises of completion. I have to spend hours writing emails and calling them and get nothing back. Very, very, very frustrating!

But I am done with that. I am filing a formal complaint to Better Business Bureau and requesting a compensation for all months that I have to pay BOTH electric bills in full and loan repayments for the solar panels.

Never trust this company to have your solar power system installed and serviced, never!!

This review is strictly for Angel Sanchez, and Kansas City crew 1. They were punctual, respectful, and worked in a timely manner. Angel himself was extremely informative as well. They were done with installation in just a few hours, and I’m excited to finally have solar at my home.

The process from quote to install has been a surprisingly smooth process. We did not know what to expect when we ventured the option of solar, but we are glad to have made the choice! The communication with each rep of Blue Raven has been professional, helpful, and informative. Also, we greatly appreciate being informed of each step along the way. Thank you Blue Raven!

Just had our panels installed last week by the Kansas City Crew 1. Crew arrived promptly, was super polite, and had all my panels install in just 5 hours! Just awaiting my last two inspections from the city and power company until we can flip them on. Blue Raven Solar is an excellent choice if you are looking to go solar!

Had one of the best experiences I could have with this company. They was very professional and polite. They came right on time and put our solar panels up and cleaned up after their self. Before they left made sure I didn’t have any questions or concerns. I highly recommend them. Mr. Phillips was the lead and very professional and nice. I think his team needs 10 stars.

Blue Raven was great to work with. Salesperson, the Utah main office and installation crew were all efficient and professional. Blue Raven handled all the paperwork including my HOA and all permits. I highly recommend this solar company.

Every step in my journey with Blue Raven has been 5-star. The salesman didn’t just sell, but worked through all my questions and provided information from proven expertise. The process to understand financing options was also seamless; ensuring I had the flexibility I needed to make the right decision. The installers were kind, helpful, good at their work, and took extra caution on a windy day to protect themselves and the equipment. All of that, AND they were fast. I can’t believe I have my entire system up and running already. I would recommend Blue Raven to all my friends and family - I know they’ll be well taken care of.

Blue Raven Install team was great to work with during our installation of our system.

Seamless install of rectangular grid (per my request) 4kW solar panel system in about 5 hours with 5 workers! Christian Neff (salesperson) knew the ins and outs of the system and followed up with me regularly on the process. The Kansas City based install team (Garret, Adrian, & Valentine) were fantastic at answering all my questions while doing the install, which gave me complete confidence in their work. Highly recommend Blue Raven if you're thinking of going solar!

I ordered 22 REC panels, the designers substituted QCells panels, I moticed the error when the roof layout changed and called the design team to correct the panel choice. Dispite the correction, the fast pace of Blue Raven's process ment that QCells panels were mistakenly delivered and installed while I was away on vacation. Blue Raven swapped out the QCells for the correct REC panels, which have significantly better lifetime performance of 92% at 25 years, and paid a roofer to replace the architectural shingles ( lucky I had 6 spare bundles) where the mounts were removed.

The install teams did a wonderful job, installing, uninstalling, and reinstalling, but my advice is to double check all the components upon delivery. Overall for standing behind their promises, 5 out of 5 stars.
