I hired Charlie for a plumbing project for my business in March. I paid him a deposit of half of the final price. I waited 6 months until I had to find out through the state that he did not submit his application for a permit. During the 6 months, he was unprofessional and unresponsive. He would set a time to come to my business, but would never show up or cancel last minute. Upon knowledge of him not submitting the permit to the state. I asked him to call the state to confirm that he submitted the permit, but he never did. Over all, it’s been 6 months and my business is not ready to open yet. I’ve lost a lot of money paying rent and utilities for the space. I finally pulled the plug and told him he’s no longer hired to do the project and am now looking for a new plumber. He only refunded half of my deposit back. I do not recommend this business at all. Save yourself a headache by going with someone else who is more professional and will get things done on time.
