This company does not do a good job. I work at one of the business's this company cleans for and we have never had this many issues with the cleaners. For a little info, we pretty much only need them to take out our trash and clean the floors. Mind you, we sweep and mop our floors too before we even leave. However, when they first started cleaning our store, they left streak marks all over, and whatever cleaner they used was making our floors sticky, causing our shoes to stick to the ground. It is happening yet again, where there are visible streaks and stickiness all over the floor. There have been days when the trash is not taken out either, and with our business, trash piles up incredibly fast, and needs to be taken out on the days where they come and clean for us. We feel like when we give feedback, half the time we get rude replies, or it is completely ignored. For pretty much only having to clean floors that we clean prior to them coming in, and taking out the trash, they aren't doing great.

I have never been so disaponted in a company's service. If i could give 0 stars i would. Jan-Pro has been cleaning my building for sometime and the service has been getting worse each time. I contacted Stacy at Jan-Pro in Hopkins and asked for some changes to be made. Not only did I not get a response as to my request to not have an employee who does the worst job on cleaning my facilities Stacy sent Him back again after my request to do otherwise. The employee came and went as he choosed. He called regularly to reschedule my requested cleaing time and day. I asked for him to never come back and yet Stacy send him out to do a cleaning again. The results of that cleaning was exactly the same result. Terrible! I do not know what else to say other than I would not call Jan-pro for services they will not take care of you at ALL! The customers needs will not be a priority.

Working with Jennifer and her team was a great experience. Being in a Condo was nice not having the big clunky vacuum cleaners bumping into walls and disturbing the residence. The team was very friendly and open to changes.

I have been using Jan-Pro for various cleaning jobs for the last 7 years. They have always been great to work with. But, more importantly, they stand by their work. If there's cleaning that you need done, I encourage you to try Jan-Pro. You won't be disappointed.

This company is unwilling to do the work they contract for - frustrating is a nice term for my experience with their organization. We have a straightforward office setup and had two (a 5,000 and a 10,000 sf) locations contracted with Jan-Pro. We began noticing the quality of the work was suffering early on and requested to have items from their check lists addressed which were being missed, they referred us to the onsite binder and we said that we couldn’t be expected to write down basics like vacuum the entryway or wipe down the kitchen counter every day as that’s the purpose of the punch list they created for our contract. They also:
1) skipped cleaning an entire floor of a building for 6 months and told us they meant to clean it and would give us a refund but didn’t
2) threatened to send us to collections because we were 30 days late on payment after stopping our ACH as they refused to do the cleaning
3) delivered multiple shipments of supplies, decided to put them in our basement and when we voiced concern that they were charging us for supplies that didn’t exist we went through 20-30 emails before asking the supplier where they were putting it
4) are rude
5) caused pest problems at both locations because they don’t vacuum (they are contracted to do this 5x weekly)
6) leave supplies in the open - like a vacuum in your lobby in the morning in a lobby that hasn’t been vacuumed
7) send 3-4 invoices monthly per site and will not aggregate it
8) will not correspond with anyone other than the account holder
9) do site visits, identify the issues you are discussing exist, offer solutions, then refuse their own solutions and access to the site manager who toured the location with you
10) hold you to an annual contract while simultaneously telling you they will not do the service

When we provided video evidence that they consistently spent less than 30 minutes cleaning each day they finally threw up their hands and said it was a bad fit - this felt like an opportunity to apologize and address the issue as we just want our carpet vacuumed but they simply don’t give a sh**. I have been very satisfied with the service that I'm receiving from Jan Pro!
I had issues with my 1st cleaner and contacted Jennifer, in the office and she quickly dispatched, supervisor Bob, to my buildings to access the situation and he recommend a new cleaner, Alta, whom I very satisfied with she is personable, competent, and just knows how to get the job done, right, the first time!

It was hard to communicate with them on a daily basis. But later on they were able to reach out to us and have a talk. Hopefully it will be easier to communicate in the future

Jan-Pro has been our nightly office cleaning crew for several years now. Our crew does a great job; they are very conscientious. We can trust them to do the job right. We are able to keep in communication with the crew daily if we need to add or change anything. In the event that there are any glitches, the Jan-Pro management staff work with us to be sure that everything is as it should be. Jan-Pro conducts surprise inspections to check on the crew and be sure that things are going well. The Jan-Pro support staff is an invaluable resource and check in regularly. We are very happy with Jan-Pro.

If you would like an honest review of this franchising service, feel free to contact me via the Jan pro office. I will honestly and openly provide feedback and share my experiences with potiental franchisees. My best advice is to not contact just successful franchisees but also the failed ones. (There are plenty and there’s a lot of evidence to prove it).

We have been using Jan-Pro for 1 year now to service my office. They are quick to responses and fix the problem the next day. Very professional. I recommend them. I have cleaning issue with the first account owner, and they quickly help switch to another account owner which provide better performance than the previous account owner. I am happy because overall, they provide service better than the past company cleaners. Recommend!

Chris & Jennifer are a fabulous team that assisted us with a special services carpet cleaning job at The Reserve Woodbury. They showed up promptly, worked efficiently and were a pleasure to work with! I would highly recommend them and use their services again in a heartbeat!

We have had a few different companies in to do our Day to Day Janitorial and Cleaning needs. Jan-Pro has by far been the most professional and thorough Cleaning Company that we have experienced. They have a very professional staff and super awesome Day to Day Employees. When you don't hear about the cleaning services (from internal employees), then you know that they are doing a great job. This is the case with Jan-Pro. Highly Recommended... just can't have our team that works here everyday. :-)

Particularly Michael has been so kind, patient and helpful.  He really got in the trenches with us to help us clean and gave us great advice.  Jennifer also has been extremely responsive and I feel that she has our back.  I would whole-heartedly recommend JAN-PRO if you are looking to start a cleaning franchise business.  Cleaning is not always easy work, but having the support of all of the employees at the Jan-Pro office in Hopkins makes a huge difference.  After only 6 months we have grown our business to 5 commercial building accounts. **Absolutely Regret Working with Jan-Pro – Stay Far Away!**

If I could give zero stars, I would. Working with Jan-Pro has been one of the biggest mistakes I’ve ever made.

They market themselves as this polished, professional company that will “help you grow your own business” and “support you every step of the way.” Don’t fall for it. It’s all smoke and mirrors. Once they get your investment, everything changes.

When you’re first starting out, they’ll sweet-talk you with promises of support, training, and guaranteed accounts. They’ll tell you how you’re going to be your own boss and succeed with their guidance. But the moment they get your money, the truth comes out—they don’t care about you. They only care about collecting your payments while giving you the bare minimum in return.

The work they give you is inconsistent, poorly managed, and far from what they initially promise. The “support” they claim to offer is practically non-existent. They’ll leave you on your own, ignoring your calls and emails when you actually need help. And forget about professionalism—the whole system is disorganized and honestly feels like a scam once you’re in.

It’s clear they’re just a money-hungry franchise that’s more focused on draining your wallet than helping you succeed. They’ll bait you in with a polished image and then leave you stranded with low-paying, high-labor jobs and zero real support.

Save yourself the stress, time, and money. I wouldn’t recommend Jan-Pro to anyone looking to start a legitimate business. There are far better opportunities out there—this just isn’t one of them.

Takes great care of the place I work. They come by weekly, and you can always tell when they’ve been there working their magic! I would definitely recommend them. They’re also very responsive to feedback and make adjustments when needed.
