We requested a consultation and estimate for a tree removal and a second visit for christmas light installation for which they were on time for and showed up for and were very friendly. The second part in which they send the estimate to us was the issue for both counts. We never received an estimate both times. I tried calling to see about receiving the estimate, but just got sent to voicemail several times by the phone answerer so gave up. It’s amazing businesses can survive on this type of business model over time.

If you are looking for a tree service look no further than SavATree. I needed several small tree's cut down, bushes trimmed, best a huge Ash tree removed. The Ash tree was in bad spot being very close to my house and the garage. After an exhausting intensive search, including several estimates I found SavATree, and Phil Mix. He answered all my questions and concerns. The quote he gave me was more than fair. Phil and his crew are top notch, best in the business. They are extremely knowledgeable and professional. They did such a wonderful job for me my neighbor had one of his tree's cut down the same day. I really can't say enough positive comments about Phil and his crew.

We just had SavATree do a myriad of work on our mature oak trees, and they did a wonderful job. Phil was courteous and honest in terms of what work could be done, should be done, and needed to be done. We had a tree removal, the supporting of a tree with a through-rod, tree trimming, and hemp treatment done for our trees. Jordan and his crew that came to complete those services couldn't have been more courteous with our property, and professional in their operation. They were on time, and done quickly. It also means a lot that they were very conscious of environmental impacts as well.

They whole team was great. A storm broke off a part of a huge oak in our yard. The Savatree team was amazing. Ropes and climbers, they cut down the damaged section, saved our fence and cleaned up all the debris. Very professional and thorough. 10 out of 10.

They were great at the start. Treated my large Oak tree with oak wilt. While it bloomed leaves in the late spring. 1 month later it looked dead. We had did the recommended treatment, which was about $1000. The tree lost all of its leaves in early summer and again looks completely dead. I didn't know the treatment could make it worse, i would have not done it. I'm afraid it may not come back next spring at all. They gave me a slight refund. But it seems they sell the treatment without any explanation that it may make the tree die faster.

I hired SavATree to prune a 50 year old, 3 story silver maple.

Austin Veatch, SavATree arborist, spent an hour assessing the trees on my city-sized house lot and making recommendations. I was concerned about squirrels burrowing into the silver maple trunk and asked about the health of the tree. I treasured Austin’s response that trees are amazing living resilient structures. He noted the tree was healthy but stressed due to major street construction that likely damaged tree roots. After pruning, I hired SavATree to apply a custom fertilizer mixture for 2 years to nourish the tree as it rebounded to health.

The tree pruner used a motorize lift to reach branch to cut then lower to the ground by rope. I valued the safety steps that were evident (tree pruner wore safety strap, prune and coworkers on ground agree when ready to cut each branch). They used a chipper to dispose of the branches. They raked the lawn which was left very clean.

I plan to contact Austin and use SavATree for future tree maintenance needs.

Save-A-Tree did an excellent job for me! They came out last year to take down a large cottonwood tree, and the whole process was quick, safe, and professional. They used a crane to lift it out, which was impressive to watch, and everything was handled smoothly. The price felt very reasonable for the size of the job.

In the spring, they came back to grind the stump as promised, and I really appreciated that they were able to bump my appointment up a week early so I could get started on building a fence. That kind of follow-through and flexibility really stood out.

Cody fit us in even with a heavy schedule after recent storms had them working much larger jobs. We just had one decent sized ash that needed removal. They did a great job, could hardly tell they'd been there. All that was left was a bare spot where the stump used to be. Cody even accommodated my request to cut and leave me a splitting block and firewood lengths.

Cody and his crew were excellent to work with. They showed up when they said they would and took down a large dead ash tree looming over the house. Price was more than fair and they cut up (and stacked) a boatload of firewood for us to use heading into the winter. Will definitely reach out the next time we need a tree taken down.

We had previously seen TrueNorth Tree Care LLC take care of a fallen tree in a neighbor's yard and when I asked if they would recommend them to us, they said unequivocally yes. We had 4 medium to large trees trimmed, a maple, a emerald ash and two giant cotton woods. We also had, last minute, a tall arborvitie removed. Cody kept us informed on the process and the reasoning behind the when, how and why certain things should be done. My partner was very keen on keeping the wildlife safe and they were very responsive & kind to this request. Cody and his colleague completed this job in about 1.5 days, including clean up. Everything looks tidy and fresh. We would recommend anyone to use TrueNorth Tree Care LLC for all your tree trimming needs!
