We met Beth, one of the landscape designers, at the Minneapolis Home and Garden Show and we are thankful we made the connection. Beth was great to work with through the planning and execution of our home landscape project. She visited our home and got to know us and what we wanted in our landscape project. She was very responsive to our input and very easy to work with through the entire process--and we loved the design she came up with. For the installation, Barrett's onsite crew was professional, hard working, courteous, and willing to work with us to make some last minutes changes to our plans. We would definitely work with Beth and the crew at Barrett for any future projects.

We’ve been working with Barrett for a few years for our backyard hardscape and landscape needs. They have been fabulous to work with! The first year they worked closely with us to design and execute the dual level patio of our dreams. Throughout the process our designer Bethany and foreman James were very patient and communicative. We always knew what was going on and when there were schedule changes, and once the project was underway we really didn’t have much to do or coordinate on our side. Barrett did it all and took care of everything. We were so happy with the final product that we brought Barrett back a second year to help us install a privacy garden along our property line. Barrett has always been responsive and delivers excellent customer service. We look forward to continuing to partner with Barrett for our outdoor lawn needs.

They once mowed our rental property under an agreement with our tenant of which I had no knowledge of. When our tenant didn't pay, they called my monther and wife threatening to take me to collections. My wife concerned about our credit paid the bill. I talked with the BBB about it. They stand behind their right to harass people that they can extract money from. Horrible business ethics.

Have been using Peterson Lawn Service for over 7 years. Very prodessional - any changes in care are quickly communicated and changed. Always attention to detail. Annika and Michele and the women in the office never miss a beat and are always nice - same for my great mowing crew. Much apperciated.

Without a doubt, this is the best lawn service in the Twin Cities and I've hired a few of them. I've been a customer for a few years now and they are extremely affordable, fast, professional and always timely. I love the variety of services as well. Needed quick help for a house addition at the very end of the season. Axel's came through for me. Really good communications. Work was as good as I could hope for. I may never do another addition, but if I do I will call Axels.

We are unhappy with the work quality and communication on our project. They "planted" trees in a shallow hole, no water, and with the burlap bag, metal cage & rope all still on the root ball and trunk, seeming to choke them out. Sloppy job. Then no follow-up with the owners and no owners on site when the job was being done. When we tried to bring up concerns with Jodi we felt she was defensive and treated us as though they have so much business anyway that they don't need us ,or care about our concerns. Cost was very high as well.

Just finished up a project with Axel, Retaining wall, removal of old landscape rock and redo edging and rock. Regrade and sod front yard. What a GREAT experience! Prices are competitive, Jodi provided great breakdown of the project and quotes each major step individually. The installation team is awesome, really know what they are doing.

Here's the deal with Axel Landscape - they are professional and responsive and generous and they do amazing work. We recently moved into a home that Axel Landscape had worked on a couple of years ago, including a beautiful patio and steps hardscape. I had some questions about maintenance and called Axel for some advice. Even though I wasn't the original owner, they were more than happy to take the time to talk to me about the questions I had in detail. I wouldn't hesitate to engage them on future projects!

This is the second time in 6 years I've used Chris, Jodi and the crew for my landscaping needs and this time was no different than the first. I couldn't be more pleased.

This time involved tearing apart a number of 27 year old retaining walls and rebuilding them to look new. Jodi had some great design ideas to freshen up the look and by the time the guys were done, they looked as good as they did the day they were first installed.

Chris also knows how particular I am about my yard and the guys took extra measures to protect against any damage. The whole crew was polite, professional and just damn good at what they do!
