Reviews of local pros in Jordan, Minnesota

Unprofessional

Reliable company with great employees! Gets the job done fast!!!!

Broke promises. They will tell you everything you want to hear. Once they get the money. There goes the promises. Terrible business ethics.

We were very satisfied with the landscaping work. They were prompt an friendly. We would recommend them to anyone.

They did an amazing job with my backyard. The patio is now where we spend most of our time.

Lawns Are Us did an excellent job on our shoreline restoration project. They are easy to communicate with and timely. Would definitely recommend for all your landscaping needs!

Called and got ahold of Mark. He came out 30min later, Had a quote 2 days after that. 3 weeks later I had a complete system put in. Communication was great. Great company to work with.

Lawns Are Us built us a beautiful Boulder wall in Lakeville at our business (M&J Trucking Co., LLC). They were quick and affordable. Mark and Morgan were great to work with!

Morgan's easy to work with, he's a seasoned pro and communicates well. Very competitively priced compared to other outfits in the twin cities. A neighbor remarked how well they cleaned up after themselves - there was a lot of dirt, rock and equipment flying around for several days.

We hired Mike (Lawns Are Us) and paid him approximately $300 to aerate and overseed our lawn. After the job was supposedly done, we could find very little to no seed whatsoever nor could we find any plugs from the aeration. But what we did see were trenches dug all over our lawn with a malfunctioning aerating machine. Mike denied the job was done poorly but would not come out to our home and look at the damage, lack of seed and lack of aeration plugs. He said he would refund us our money but only returned $100. We definitely will never recommend this company to anyone. Rob and Diane B.

We prepaid almost $600 for a year of lawn service. They came once and didn't come back. Called to find out why, they told us we canceled our service. Mixed us up with someone else. 2 applications behind, said they would come, never came . Called again, Morgan got real snotty with my wife. He acted like it was our fault so he said he would rather cancel our service and send us a refund. STILL waiting for our refund. Would never recommend to anyone. This really a half star review!!!!

I was in need of some mulch to put under our new play set. I was referred to Lawns Are Us and I’m so glad I was! Mark was able to get me the exact amount I needed and had it delivered quickly. Would highly recommend!

We've been working with Lawns Are Us for over 15 years; they installed our sprinkler system and landscaping when we moved into our new home and continue to maintain our sprinkler system each year - great family business, high quality service, awesome communication!

We have used Lawns R Us for around 15 years. They installed our raised brick patio 14 years ago. It is still beautiful today and we receive many compliments still. We have also used their lawn service and will again this year. Any questions or issues, Morgan or Theresa have always responded timely. In 15 years, we have never had a problem with quality of service or customer service. I always recommend them to others!

I don't question the earlier reviews here. We all have negative experiences with an employee or business. I simply want to say our experience has been different.

We contracted with Lawns Are Us 15 years ago to construct a patio and play area in our yard where we had no flat space. Mark and his crew did such a wonderful job with the patio and play area. We got many years of enjoyment from these areas.
Because they did such a good job on the original work, we decided to go with them again this past summer to transform the play area into an additional patio space. Again, Mark and his crew did a great job moving and placing large boulders and creating a 2nd patio area (round). After 15 years our original patio need to be reconstructed which Mark and his crew did quickly. They arrived on the day they said they would and knocked out the project in a couple of days. We did have an issue with the newly seeded grass but Mark was very responsive and worked with us to get this resolved to our satisfaction.

Blown away with Lawns Are Us! They were recommended to us by many others in our neighborhood. We had just built our home and had no idea what to do with our yard. Mark and his crew installed rock edging retaining wall, in December (I couldn’t believe they were able to get all of the work done before the first snowfall of the season!), and come spring, came back to put down a seed blanket. They were quick in their work and it added so much curb appeal to our yard! Dave also comes to fertilize our yard a few times throughout the year as well!
We have a few more projects that we will eventually need done and Lawns Are Us, will be the ones to get the job done.
Theresa was so fun to chat with & was able to answer all of my questions!
Thank you, Mark, Morgan, & Theresa and your employees!

Lawns Are Us has done 2 projects for us now. The first was last year after our lawn was left in pretty bad shape and we had no idea what to do as it had very deep ruts and our fire pit ares retaining wall was a bit smashed, along with the backyard needed a lot of work so it would drain properly. We called Mark and he was here the next day. He put our minds to ease when he said they would be able to take care of us. The work they did was beyond our expectations. The crew at Lawns Are Us is top notch. Our second project just wrapped up last week where they installed a beautiful pond in our front yard and edging. The way they constructed the pond is absolutely breathtaking. If you are looking for a reliable company with a crew who cares about their customers needs we highly suggest you look into Lawns Are Us. They are professional, diligent, punctual and fair with their prices.
