We have used TruGreen for many many years. Each state we have lived in has been a little bit different, but I have always had great experience and expertise when dealing with the TruGreen employees. Our lawn always looks great. We also use the mosquito control which we love. If you see a mosquito even 15 to 20 days after they have sprayed, they’ll come back out re-spray for free. It’s just a great overall service and company.

Tommylee was courteous and answered all of my questions. Stated my lawn looks burned in places, probably from previous applications.
It was so nice to deal with someone who took his time with me.

The service tech, Victoria, really knew her stuff! She gave recommendations for services that would continue to improve my yard. (...and no, she doesn't make commission.) So far, my experience has been great!

We purchased 6 months prepaid treatments. After 6 months service was completed they continued to sent staff to our house. We didn’t realize that we have to call to cancel the service even thought we didn’t continue to buy more treatments.
The yard results didn’t look good. Brown spots all over and plenty of weeds. So the weed treatment definitely not working.

Tommy Lee made certain to use the doorbell and wait until I answered the door. We chatted since he is a returning service representative. I asked if TruGreen has a fall cleanup service and he informed me you do not. I think it would be good that you do have that service.

Have used True green for 15 years. 3rd house they have cared for. We added the mosquito spray this year and didn't see one. We have a large outdoor entertaining area and pool. No bugs at all other than a few bee's. Well worth the $650 we paid for the season! Highly recommend!

What a MISTAKE!!! On March 11, 2025 I contacted TruGreen to start the quotation process. By the end of the phone call, I subscribed and pre-paid (my second mistake) for the summer of 2025. April 14, 2025 Roy Osborne, a trained service technician, came out and fertilized my lawn. He was only there for about 20 minutes and left an lawn assessment on my door. About the beginning of May I started noticing stripes to appear in my lawn. On May 6, I contacted TruGreen's customer service to get a summary of the service call in April. I talked to David Mohammed and asked if TruGreen guaranteed 100% coverage. He suggested that we set up a free fertilizing to correct the striping issue. We set up May 14 to correct the issue with Jason G. as my specialist. On May 14th I was able to track Jason and it looked like he would arrive around 1:00. His estimated time came and went. About 2:30 I received a message that stated that he couldn't complete the service call because my pet was loose in the front yard. I DON'T HAVE ANY PETS. Upon calling TruGreen's customer service (Kurlan) it was concluded that Jason had gone to the wrong address. They wanted to reschedule for the following day which I was not available.

If Mr. Osborne would have did a quality job, there would be no issues, but TruGreen's customer service is the big failure. In my opinion, TruGreen Lawn Service is a big operation with its left and right hands haven't a clue what each one is doing.

My wife and I have had Tru green lawn service for the past year and a half. We still have crab grass and nutsedge. And the last time coming out, they somehow burnt spots in the front yard, as you can see by the pictures. She tried talking to them with very poor customer service, they came out and didn't do anything to help us out. For the money we've spent, we excepted better. We fired them and went with a company willing to work with us to figure it out and for less money as well. If this company doesn't want to have great customer service, there are many others out there who do.
For your shake, I hope my experience was a one-off.

Jason Bittner is a very easy going guy, he came by about working out a parking deal on my property while they are working in the area, he was easy right off the bat, made sure to express his guys weren’t going to leave trash behind, or speed through our property, happy to help!

I would give zero if I could. Very bad service, over trimmed trees, trees look odd and imbalanced. Did not follow any industry standards and would not address concerns, just brag about his experience and argue about my concerns. Clearly not suited for tree trimming at all. Will post photos later. Use caution, they might be able to do other things but tree trimming is definitely not one. Not customer oriented at all.

If zero stars were allowed, I’d be sprinting toward that option like it’s Black Friday at Best Buy. The service was that bad. My trees were over‑trimmed so aggressively that they now look like they’re in witness protection — unrecognizable, uneven, and clearly traumatized.

Industry standards? Not a single one was invited to this job. When I raised concerns, instead of listening, the guy launched into a TED Talk about his “experience,” which apparently includes arguing with customers and ignoring basic tree biology.

Based on the results, tree trimming is absolutely not their calling. Maybe they’re great at something else — plumbing, knitting, competitive hot‑dog eating — who knows. But trees? No. Hard no.

Very rude employees disrespecting my neighborhood by being very loud at 7am making a delivery to a piece of property owned by the city and not their customer! Then proceeded to try and fight me after I asked them to keep it down! Unclassy!!!!
