They sell you the service but they don't get out there when they should. I have so many weeds in the yard. They could never tell me when they would be coming out to fertilize. They just keep saying they are busy. If you can't offer the service you offer then don't sell it if your busy

This is the worst customer service I've had in my life. I've been a true green customer for years. I always prepaid to get a better deal. I cannot get to talk to anybody other than a third-party answering service. That was the most rudest professional company I've ever talk to my life. I'm in the customer service business and this is not customer service should be. I asked to talk to the manager of my account. The interrogation process was a nightmare. Beware of this company not to mention since I've been a customer they never called me. They just show up and start billing me every year and try to get me looped in their system and I call every year to negotiate the price for one pay all For the year. No, they're charging for extra services when they're product doesn't work and it says 100% satisfaction guaranteed then they say nope you've had too many 100% satisfaction guarantee. This was in reference to the mosquito spray which did not work as well as it did in the past five years and I've been a customer of those and now they charge me because I've had too many.

Tom was excellent! He explained everything to me & he went above & beyond! I would love to have home spray my lawn every time - if that’s possible!

Not a customer, but still affected. This company applies a one-size-fits-all solution with little regard for detail. I don’t use their services, yet they’re overspraying by nearly two feet into my yard—damaging my clover in the process. Clover is bee-friendly, supports pollinators, and doesn’t aggressively compete with grass. Their excessive spraying suggests overapplication, and when I contacted customer service, they refused to take responsibility or correct the issue. Disappointing and careless.

Usually the tech does a nice job but this last time he just dumped the fertile down and over sprayed on plants. A rep did come out and we came to agreement on how to fix the issues. I’d recommend being home or have cameras in so you can see what they do

I had had two spring services performed but I noticed a large number of dandelions popped up. I called TruGreen to ask if that was to be expected after service. They did not hesitate to send out a truck to spray the entire yard free of charge. Great service

On May 28, 2025, my lawn was treated with chemicals by TruGreen and I am NOT A CUSTOMER. I choose to use BioLawn which is safer and more friendly to the Earth, pets, and children. I called TruGreen on May 28, right after we discovered what happened and asked for a call back from a manager/owner. I was assured I would hear back from somebody within 48 hours. No one called. A week later I called back and was assured by the second customer service rep that I would receive a call back within 48 hours. No one called. Because she knew I didn’t hear back from my first call, she promised to check back in with me after 48 hours to make sure I got my call back. She didn’t call me either.

Today I made a third call and that person assured me I would hear within 48 hours. I’m hoping this review will get some action. I have 17 new trees in my yard and I’m worried about their survival. We also had to cancel our BioLawn treatment on May 29 because we couldn’t mix the chemicals from Trugreen and our scheduled treatment from BioLawn. I left my name, phone number, and address each time I called TruGreen. I am requesting a call back from the owner immediately. Let’s hope this actually works.

True green dress es an excellent job taking care of my lawn and knows what it needs for weed control and nutrients to green up the grass. They are knowledgeable about what they sell to the consumer about weed control, trees and shrubs, -and even bugs (grub worms and mosquitos and more). Thank you for the fantastic job, see you soon

This is my first year with TruGreen and I’m very happy with their service and their customer service. Yesterday I called and asked the technician not to come until after 9 because of my dogs. The customer Service person was really good and today he didn’t come until
After 9 so my dogs could have time in the year before the treatment went down. My technician is awesome too!

I have used TruGreen for years since I came to MN and my lawn is lush -- 1st 2 pics;

I decided to try them at my FL home and I did not get the same results; TruGreen was no match for the chinch bugs and the lawn will need to be replaced; second set of 2 pics is FL prior to TruGreen service, and the last set of 7 pics is with TruGreen and the lawn is dead;

Second time my lawn is burned. About five years ago, my lawn was burned. I thought I’d give him a second chance and once again it’s damaged! I want a full refund!

Applicator came to my door and shared the services that were being applied on the visit. The service was excellent and the applicator was very cordial and the information he shared was greatly appreciated, especially his advising that an insecticide for grub control was being applied. This saved me from needing to purchase an insecticide and do my own application.

Every technician that has been to my property has done an absolute fabulous job. Customer service department is absolutely horrible. The scheduling department gives you less than 12 hours notice when they’re going to do an application to your lawn. Their communication is terrible.

We have used TruGreen for many many years. Each state we have lived in has been a little bit different, but I have always had great experience and expertise when dealing with the TruGreen employees. Our lawn always looks great. We also use the mosquito control which we love. If you see a mosquito even 15 to 20 days after they have sprayed, they’ll come back out re-spray for free. It’s just a great overall service and company.

Tommylee was courteous and answered all of my questions. Stated my lawn looks burned in places, probably from previous applications.
It was so nice to deal with someone who took his time with me.

The service tech, Victoria, really knew her stuff! She gave recommendations for services that would continue to improve my yard. (...and no, she doesn't make commission.) So far, my experience has been great!

We purchased 6 months prepaid treatments. After 6 months service was completed they continued to sent staff to our house. We didn’t realize that we have to call to cancel the service even thought we didn’t continue to buy more treatments.
The yard results didn’t look good. Brown spots all over and plenty of weeds. So the weed treatment definitely not working.

Tommy Lee made certain to use the doorbell and wait until I answered the door. We chatted since he is a returning service representative. I asked if TruGreen has a fall cleanup service and he informed me you do not. I think it would be good that you do have that service.
