What a great experience! As a first time homeowner I had no idea what was going on in my yard and how to fix it! Was quoted a price before he saw the work and I’m pretty sure things were a little more difficult than expected! He was so kind and completed the work plus some extra things for the same price! Much more affordable than anywhere else. I had a bunch of small dogwood stumps maybe 10 all over the yard that could have added up to over 500$ with someone else. Very happy with the experience!

I had 17 stumps removed by Metro Stump Grinding. They were fast and responsive. I provided a few pictures and they gave a straight forward quote over the phone and pricing was very reasonable. We hired Metro to do a fairly easy stump removal in our front yard. They were doing a project down the street, we saw them there, chatted with them and they (Sean) came over to give a quote, which was very reasonable. They came over a couple of days later to to the work. The work was done quickly and professionally (thanks for protecting our windows!), and Sean actually charged us less than what he had quoted. Don't know many other contractors who would do that. We were very satisfied with the work and in working with them. I'd use them again in a heartbeat (and we'll need to in the near future). Highly recommend.

Very pleased with this company. I had three ash tree stumps grinded. One was a little tricky over a gas line, but it was handled carefully and professionally. Jim was very responsive, and kept me up to date with everything. On time and friendly. Good clean-up. Woukd definitely recommend.

Recently had a large pine tree removed from my small urban yard, including stump grinding. While the company that did the original work did grind up the stump, they left numerous large surface roots behind making it impossible for me to repurpose the yard space. Contacted Metro Stump Grinding after the previous company completely ghosted me. Jim was super responsive and did a great job at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended!

We specialize in retaining walls, patios, hardscapes and softscapes. We do remove stumps but this one was a monster. 4 feet in diameter and we needed a little bigger machinery to get the job done. Got a great price and the guys were out there the next day helping us get the job done. Would highly recommend these guys to anyone looking at getting rid of a tricky stump.
