Matt is a genuine guy, great to work with!

They came same day, had a huge tree in fenced in yard with gated access. They took care of the tree and removed all brush. Took everything away same day.

not even a customer......A crew member "found" my phone and completely lied about taking it, so the intent was to steal it. I had to use find my iphone to locate.

Showed up on time, did a good job. The price was fair and the crew was friendly. Will use them again when needed.

Knocked over my recycling bin that was in my driveway. Left without picking it up.

Very punctual but way over priced. I feel like they took advantage of me because I had an emergency situation. They took my very last dollar! I did it because I thought it was better than having a tree land on my garage and take out my electricity. I wouldn’t hire them again.

Matt and crew took down 2 ash trees for me. One of which was a giant with a 4 foot trunk. Did an amazing job! Highly recommend!

I contacted Matt's by phone on 11/9 and requested a quote. I was told I'd have a quote by 9/16 or 9/17. I never received a quote and never received a phone call. I called them the next week and left a message for someone to call me back and let me know when I'd receive a quote. I never heard back and called them a couple days later and left another message. I never heard back. Totally ignored.
Here's what triggered my review... I just received the "one courtesy call" they give every customer asking what I thought of the quote. That's one month after I first contacted them and they didn't acknowledge any of my previous phone calls from 3 weeks earlier. I feel like with my 2 phone calls I was trying very hard to get a quote so I could give them my money. I called back right after they left a message during their "one courtesy call" today and got voicemail again. Do you think I left a message so it could be ignored like the previous calls? Nope.

Matt’s Tree Service is our go to for tree trimming. He is reliable and very reasonably priced. I will use Matt again and again.

We hired Matts to cut down 2 trees and remove the stumps, but they only cut the limbs and branches off the 100+ foot pine tree and left the tree standing in our yard, they cut down the other tree but left a 4 ft stump...we paid for the service requested but it never got finished so we have to hire a professional tree service to complete what Matts Tree Service couldn't, We would have appreciated some of the money back but they never came back or responded. If you need a tree service take your business somewhere else.

No call no showed on appointment set 2 weeks out. Had to call cell phone to be told they ran out of time and promised to show up tomorrow.

Finally managed to settle up - a 2 star experience from start to end. Never bothered to clean up the roof so I still have to go up to remove a solid covering of leaves and twigs. Never received a receipt or final invoice, just went off the initial rough estimate.

Great Job! You guys came to my rescue! Didn't want to look at the dead ash anymore in the middle of my yard. Big tree, great price! Thank you! Thank you!

Matt and his crew did a great job w/ the tree trimming and the price was very reasonable. With that being said, he neglected to take any precautions for his bucket truck which ended up creating several large/deep ruts in my front and back yard.

He attempted to repair some of the damage by bringing 40 bags of dirt, however, that only filled one rut in the front yard. This could all be avoided by just laying some plywood down when moving the truck.

I don't care much about my lawn but I know several people that most certainly do. I was fine w/ just having him lay dirt and seed down but he couldn't even accomplish that. Imagine the cost of sod.....

They did a great job! I am so glad we went with them. Definitely couldn’t have done this ourselves. They trimmed our maple and removed really big branches and unwanted growth. They cleaned up every last bit and had it all done in about 1 hour. Would definitely recommend!!!

I did not actually use their service but did have contact with Matt over the sound and the volume of his guys while working. I did start our conversation upset yet Matt was so professional and receptive to what I had to say that I couldn't stay mad. I do understand that communication on a jobsite with saws running is a hard issue to deal with and overcome. I passed on that from my experience and use on my own jobsites that 2 way personal radios would be a good idea and more professional. I was amazed at his response that he agreed and he was very apologetic for his crews volume. This is how a real owner should and did deal with a potential customer.

Matt, thank you for being a good man and understanding my issue, listening without hostility and fixing it right away. My hats off to you sir. Best of luck on all your future endeavors Sir.

Matt did a great job listening to the needs and exceeding expectations of my elderly mom. He was personable, efficient, and affordable. I especially like that he is a local business and very hands on from start to finish. I wouldn’t call anyone else for tree trimming and removal.

5 Stars for Matt's Tree Service, Matt and his team removed 2 very tall pine tree's from our backyard, reasonably priced, and has the right equipment to efficiently complete the job. I highly recommend Matt and his team.

We hired Matt this past winter to take care of some trees that we had marked. Everything was prompt and taken care of when they said they would. However their trucks destroyed our yard. We have tire track marks running from our neighbors yard "that they said they had to use to reach a tree) would have been nice to know ahead of time so we could get permission from our neighbors. All the way to the side of our fence that opens. For the price we saved on their tree service we will have to spend on fixing the yard that had very deep tire track in.
