The whole point of hiring someone to clean my gutters is because I can't access them easily myself. So when choosing a level of service, it's hard to know because I can't see how dirty/full they are. I made the mistake of opting for the more expensive option, the guys came, were done in 15 minutes because my gutters weren't bad at all. The pictures they showed me (and of which I was not given a copy) demonstrated this. I feel ripped off and won't use Karin's again. I think there needs to be a credit or refund for the difference between the two levels of service.

I called three other places who didn’t respond to my inquires before I ran across this company who was timely in responding and get service initiated. I did the basic cleaning but anticipate upgrading next year because it turned out so well.

Staff were amazing … something was missed on their initial visit but Rachelle made it right by sending their crew back.
Isaac, hard working and courteous kid.
Definitely using Karin’s again and highly recommend them.

I had my windows cleaned with the premium service. Items were not put back that were pulled out, windows were not closed all the way, and the garage door windows were not cleaned. When my daughter asked for them to be cleaned she was told no. For over $300, I would not consider the service worth the price.

I had an excellent experience with Karin’s and will use them again without hesitation. Scheduling a time for my windows to be washed was easy, the price was better than I anticipated and the person who showed up was a really cool guy who did a fantastic job. Staff: great. Price: great. Quality of work: great.

The Karin’s guys showed up and worked like crazy. They even took time to talk to our kids. Highlight recommend! This is the second time we’ve used them. There will be a third.

*UPDATE* Based on other reviews this is the type of response I expected to receive - blaming the customer and not taking accountability for issues/errors made by their staff or offering to compensate for said issues. When we were informed that the original wall block was unavailable we agreed to the new block with the understanding that it would be a suitable replacement for the original. The owner states that the capstone for the replacement "was not available at that time" but the project manager told us that the block they used did not have a compatible capstone. The capstone they say "was an exact match" was similar in color but was significantly less deep than the wall stone, leaving a visible gap between the cap and the rock, which they suggested we remedy by hiding it with trap rock! The customer should not be expected to agree on/pay for a product or make due with a solution that's not to their liking. And then to imply that it was our fault because we just "didn't like it" or "couldn't decide on a solution" is BAFFLING to me. The project manager said he would look into custom capstone options but never got back to us with any options, and that was the last we heard from them. When you hire a company to complete a project for you, I don't feel that it's the customer's responsibility to source the product. At no point did we "come up with other issues" once we were aware of the capstone problem... everything was addressed with the crew/project manager onsite when they were discovered and we intended to resolve it at the end of the project. It wasn't until the company stopped responding to us and we realized they had no intention of finishing the project that we asked them to address/compensate for said issues. Apparently you have to write a negative public review to get a response from someone at Karin's.

    *ORIGINAL REVIEW*
We hired Karin's to do a landscaping project in our backyard summer of 2020 - replace a short retaining wall around our patio with block and capstone, new trap rock, drainage system, and a couple of steps down to the lawn. They started the project but were held up due to supply issues with the capstone, which was understandable because of COVID, so we were told that the project would need to be completed at a later date and that we would be put on the schedule as soon as the product came in later that season. They also finished the steps requested in the project with product that was not approved by us and didn't match any of the other blocks, and is too high in relation to the pool deck thus creating a tripping hazard, so they agreed to fix this when the capstone was installed. Unfortunately, they could not locate the capstone during the Summer/Fall of 2020 and told us we'd have to wait until 2021 to complete the project. Despite all of this, we agreed to pay the remaining balance on the project (minus the price of capstones) in order to allow the team to close the job and be paid out in summer 2020 out of good faith. Then, the project manager we were initially working with was fired at some point during this time, so in Summer 2021 we were contacted by a new project manager who informed us that the block used in the retaining wall was never intended to have capstone, which was an oversight of the previous/fired project manager! They could not provide a sufficient capstone that match the size and color of the retaining wall so at this point, almost 2 years later, we're still left with an unfinished project, some of which we've already paid for and expected to be fixed! We've attempted to contact the company (via phone and email) on numerous occasions to resolve the issue but have yet to get a response. In addition to all that, the pallets of rock/stone were set on our concrete driveway and slid without a tarp which put long scratches in our driveway concrete. Also, too much trap rock was placed between the retaining wall and fence, and broke our fence panel which we have since paid to have replaced. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone looking for landscaping.

Spot on amazing!! He didn’t leave one leaf on the ground from clearing out my gutters. He also gave me friendly advice which I will take note! Very kind, quick and professional. I will be hiring again next autumn.

The window washer was very professional and efficient. He was also friendly, and did a great job on the windows. We were very satisfied with the job and the service from Karin's Services, and will use them next time we need our windows cleaned.

$250 for a gutter cleaning that may or may not have happened. My irrigation system was completely disassembled and my hoses were thrown all over my yard and my neighbor's yard. Avoid at all costs! I'm still furious.

A simple phone call or text to me to let me know my water and hoses would be used would have prevented any issues. I was available. I would have gladly paid for an upcharge if advised. Thanks for throwing in that premium service for me. $250 for 20 minutes seemed premium enough as it was.

Workers were very nice. They wanted us to be satisfied with the job. They asked if we saw any problem areas and they corrected them.
We should have had a better understanding of what their words, such as sills meant.

This is the last time I will use Karin's. For the second time they sent a trainee and a young person to clean gutters and wash windows. We have a very big house and large windows. I was actually worried for the trainee as he was not secure on his ladder. In the end after as much money as I would pay at Russel Williams, I have squeegee streaks on one prominent window and drip marks on others. I did write to ask for someone to come out but no one got back to me. All done. BTW I did decline for them to come out AFTER, because I was traveling, but reached out when I returned and got NO RESPONSE.

We have used this company in the past, but I think this is the last time. We have a big house and it’s extremely expensive but we have brand new gutters so we were getting them cleaned and having the exterior windows washed. For the second time they’ve sent a young person with another young person in training, which just is not wise, considering how difficult it is to work on our home. They’re very nice, but there are sideways squeegee streaks on my windows and drip marks. Considering how expensive it is I could just easily use another high priced company in town. Very disappointed that no one got back to me.
