Price for sewer liner was consistent with other estimates. Where they excelled was in the customer service quadrant. I called another company for an estimate as well just to cover my bases. That other company was going to charge a fee of $215 to come out and give me an estimate and provide a video. Gene's did that for no charge and even sent me the video so I could apply for a grant from my city to get this work done.

Sewer line fixes to comply with the I&I requirements in Golden Valley, MN. Gene's did a great job and we got our compliance letter (needed to sell the home). They were easy to work with and came up with fixes that were the least cost, but got the job done.

They were able to do a no dig repair on my sewer line which saved me from having my yard torn up. They were quick and professional. I highly recommend them if you need any sewer repair, especially getting it lined.

Called 4 times over the course of 2 weeks to get an estimate for a residential job. Each time the receptionist said the guy who is in charge of that would call me back, and he never did. Poor customer service and communication. Save yourself some time and go somewhere else.

Did a camera inspection for us. They were very honest and helpful. Educated us and gave us a great idea of what we needed. Will definitely go to them when we need more sewer work.

Terrible experience. Paid $3k to fix the mainline and they made it worse, far worse. The mainline had pitch back to the house once they were done, they hid the fact they they couldn't get it right and just buried the pipe and said all was well. 9 months later it was backing up again, took them forever to come out and check it out, then they wanted another $4-5K to fix it right. Even after agreeing to this, they never showed up. Communication wasn't terrible, it was non-existent. Wouldn't return calls or emails, just nothing. Stay away.

Eric went above and beyond to help me. The end result was that I didn't end up needing Gene's services, but they will be my first call for plumbing needs in the future.

I didn't actually end up using Gene's as I had another quote in progress but they were so honest and straightforward about my project, the other company I was working with, and offered what they would genuinely do if they were in my shoes (a sewer main dig up and repair). That's way more than I could say for a lot of trade workers.

We had a crack in our mainline a couple months back and shopped around to get it fixed. Gene’s had the best price, response times, and just overall good vibes. We mainly communicated with Eric and Craig - they answered all of our questions, were great to deal with, and the actual job was done in a very timely manner. Highly recommend Gene’s!

We hired Gene's to install new sewer pipe and we're very pleased. They did a good job. However, what really mattered was how they handled an issue. They came back and fixed a problem with no difficulty and did not charge anything as it was under warranty. So while many companies can do their jobs well, how concerns were dealt with made Gene's stand out to me as trustworthy and honorable.

Gene's did a great job for us on what turned out to be a pretty intense project. Our house has two sewer lines, and we were able to line one but had to dig and replace the other pipe. Gene's did good work and was communicative throughout the process.

Gene's was incredible. They provided a swift and very solid bid for water and sewer shut-off. And when the project became an emergency (basement water supply burst) they were there for us, even through many complications. Wonderful team, great business, so glad we found them!

I I was never so disappointed with this service. Did the bait and switch on me and charged me doublefrom their add. More importantly he didn't unclog the sewer line. Had to call drain busters to do it properly

Agreed with the first review. Very poor company. They came out to unclog a drain. The technician stated it wouldn't pay to unclog because the pipe needed repair. He went out to his truck and came back and said his boss said we should unclog anyway. Not knowing plumbing I'm like ok I guess. They charged me a ton and then left. I had to call a good and reputable company and then they came out and said they had to unclog drain again. Do NOT use this company.
