DO NOT USE Twin Cities Rooter, they are a bunch of Scam artists! They came in to clean the line for $95, use and undersized blade that leaves part of the root and tell you that you need to get a camera in there. Then they see that the small blade didn't get anything and claim you need to dig up 10' of your yard to cut in a cleanout so they can rake two directions to clean it out!? Doesn't make any sense, I personally felt like they didn't think I would understand because I am a woman. I would give them no stars if possible!

Please do your self a favor stay away from this company!!! they came out to clean my sewer line after 3hrs. machine braking down they told me they could not get through the clog. they said they were sending out the camera guy knowing very well he could not see anything with the line filled with water put the camera down the line and said yup it is plugged we will have to dig up your yard for $5.800 and if they had to go into the street it would cost about $14.000, but if i did it right away they would give me a deal. Red Flags!!! so i call another place within 1/2 hour they were through the clog only $200.00.

We can't say enough about our experience with Twin City Rooter. Ours is an older home so we had no idea what problems could crop up, and some did. But the technician handled each in turn with a professional attitude until our drain was un clogged. We will definitely call this company again.

Wouldn't recommend to anyone! The guy arrived three hours late from the time frame given to me. He snaked the bathroom sink for about 15 minutes and says he can't unclog it. Then recommends I cut a pipe that is not even a part of the clog for $400. Takes my credit card information for not even unclogging my drain. Two weeks later some lady from the supposed office calls from a Georgia phone number saying my card was declined and needs payment. This is by far the worst experience I've had with a plumbing company!

My experience with twin city rooter was the best place I've ever done business with. I can't say enough how they bent over backwards to do an outstanding awesome job. Dillon is the best technician ever. I will and would call them in the future if i have any home sewer drain problems in the future. Job well done thank you.

The plumber came out to my house and took one look at my toliet and he said that he does not work on this brand (Manfield). He went on to tell me the toliet needed to be replacesd with a Kohler toilet. My toilet was 20 years old so I believed him. I went and got a Kohler toilet. He came back the next day to install it (he removed my own toilet and I had already paid him in full at this point). He installed the toilet but the toilet was crooked. I mentioned to him that the toilet was crooked. He told me that once he put the lid on I wouldn't even notice. He put the lid on and I still noticed.🤦♀️He said the area from the wall to the toilet was not code so he had to put it on crooked. Geezz, why did he not notice that right away? He proceeded to tell me he would come the next day with a solution. He never showed up, so I called the office. They told me he was sick(why did they not call me)? Then I was told he would come out on Monday. Monday came and again he never showed up. I called the office again. I was told he was on vacation. I asked the woman on the phone to send someone else out. She said they couldn't. I asked to speak to a manager. He was not very helpful. I told him that someone needs to come to my home and finish the job. He never said anything so I said that if they did not finish the job that I will write to the AG of MN. He told to do what I had to do and hung up!! I had to hire a handyman to fix my toilet. I have not heard from Discount Plumbers since that day. The guy left his hat at my house...I threw it in the garbage.🤣 Just a warning.

I called another place to come out and clean my clogged drain in the garage. We’ve had so much snow these past couple weeks and my garage floor was covered in melted snow. The other company never showed up. I called Twin Cities Rooter Tuesday at 4pm and they took care of my problem Wednesday morning at 9am. Dillon was professional and honest. I will make sure to call them next time. Thank you for taking care of my garage floor drain. Highly recommend the business and Dillon.

Called them to unclog a drain that I had already tried to do myself. Easy scheduling even on a Sunday for service on Monday, prompt arrival at the agreed time even though roads were icy. Mark our technician was great and respected our home by wearing booties and used the right equipment to get the job done! Great job!

What a nightmare. My kitchen sink clogged last month. Saw their $94 special and called. Was told it would be $149, not 94, I was desperate and agreed. Guy showed up late, was here 5.5 hrs (until almost midnight), had to keep calling for advice, added a clear out that prob wasn’t needed, left black greasy muck all over my kitchen, upstairs bath and basement and charged me $500. Called the next am. Said he felt bad and wanted to come try again, set a time. I was skeptical and about to call the office when he called back and said they should come with a camera on Monday. I agreed. They came said they could add a pipe from that drain to the main stack for $950 more. I agreed and they completed the job on Tuesday afternoon. On the plus side my kitchen sink drains again, but there was definitely no clean- up done on their end and I just found a bunch of what looks like crumbly rusted pipe behind my bathroom sink. Will not be using them again.

Called yesterday and a woman answered with kids yelling in the background, couldn’t seem to hear me very well and quoted $169 with no explanation. Window of 1-3PM was given for today. I called 11 minutes before the end of the window as I have plans and she said they weren’t going to get to me today because they only had one plumber on. No idea why she didn’t let me know earlier, I should not have had to call her, and I could have had someone else out. She offered 10% off if I waited but who’s to say they’ll have the staff tomorrow?

Best customer service ever! Brian was dispatched to my house only hours after I called for service. Underground drain pipe for my house was clogged and left me unable to wash any clothes or dishes. Brian fixed it quickly and also recommended things to improve my house faucet mounting. He was very professional and also double checked my washing machine to make sure it drained properly. Highly recommend this company and the fact that they were very reasonable price wise. Skip the other companies and their next day service. These guys took great care of me.

Scheduled an appointment for a backed up main drain.
Waited all day. No call, no show.
Way poor customer service. -
Fast response time we had Steve come out and he did a amazing job as well as help us get a better understanding on what the problem was he was very professional I definitely would not mind referring the company to any one who finds themselves in trouble with plumbing

One of their drivers in a van almost drove us off the road and proceeded to flick us off for needing to merge into an exit. When I called to report the driver no one answered my call. Will never use them for this alone

Top Notch suggested I needed a main drain cleaned given a running toilet sound. I agreed to their cost for this major service, once in our home, it turned out to be just a clogged shower line. They persisted to overcharge and then suggest that there was a urine buildup in the shower (OK Gross.) This was not only disgusting, untrue and highly unprofessional it was because I complained about the price they wanted to charge me. I think it is shocking to come into a home smelling like BO, not wearing a mask and charge twice what a competitor wanted for the same task and then proceed to insult the homeowner. WOW Unless you want to be ripped off and insulted I would suggest a different drain cleaning service.

Top Notch got someone out to us as early as possible to clean a clog from our main drain line. Tech was friendly, efficient, and took care of replacing an old trap that leaked when it was re-assembled. We felt it was good value for the money, and were happy that they were available when we called at 1am on a Monday!

Andy at Top Notch made a strong effort to try and take advantage of new home owners. Be smart! Don't let it happen to you.
At first it seemed like the people at Top Notch were really helpful and honest. They charged $340 to unclog our basement drain, and in the days following, the issue became 4 times worse with raw sewage backing up into our basement. We called and learned that they sent an inexperienced tech who did not know how to complete the job without calling his supervisor, Andy, and when confronted about it, Andy made excuses for why it was worse instead of simply owning their error and offering to get back out to our house to fix it. Andy said there would be a charge to come out again and he tried to convince us it was our plumbing that was the issue. Andy insisted over and over again that $10,000 worth of corrections needed to be made before they could complete a simple sewer clean out.
But we were smart and saw through his BS. We called another drain cleaning company and the guy fixed the issue immediately. It was only $189.00. The reputable drain cleaner was honest and explained why all the plumbing stuff (Andy said was necessary) was not needed AT ALL and that the Top Notch tech was obviously not experienced enough to do a routine sewer clean out. Think twice before you roll the dice with this company.
** UPDATE ** After a couple calls to the office, Andy called me and accepted full responsibility for his tech's errors. Andy acknowledged that he did not get accurate information from his tech and went to bat for him based on that alone which was the mistake. Andy show that he is honest and has integrity, and I really respect the way Andy and Michelle handled that unfortunate error. They offered me a full refund for the trouble.
