My AC went out on a Friday evening. I was able to fix it myself, but the gentleman that I spoke to on the phone was more than happy to help me out and even offered to sell me the part that I needed to get it working again. I will be calling him for help in the future! I highly recommend this company.

We had furnace problems back in December and these guys responded extremely quickly and were able to get a new furnace installed the next day, at a very reasonable price! The installers were friendly and efficient, I was very happy with the entire process.
Just today, we found that the blower wasn't working when we turned on our air so we called Joe and he was at the house within a half an hour, and he had it fixed almost immediately (with our zoned system, the two thermostats were set differently). He explained the problem so we could fix it if it ever happens again.
Recommend 100%!!

Joe at Off The Hook Heating and Air was AWESOME!!! He responded to our plea for help with our non-working furnace super quick. He was able to troubleshoot over the phone initially and then came out same day to fix our problem. Joe was fast, efficient, and explained everything that was needed, and went above and beyond to fix some additional "mistakes" from a previous company. Joe and his crew from “Off the hook” were amazing. Not only did he work with us while we were out of town to go check out our AC, he was there bright and early Monday morning to get it fixed for us. Pricing was incredibly reasonable and the work is thorough. Don’t even waste your time calling around, this company is fast, reliable and does great work. Highly recommend!!

We had another company out multiple times and we're told our system was fine, "use a different filter".
Joe worked us into his schedule and took the extra time to dig deeper into our issue and I am VERY happy to say I am enjoying a cool house while outside is hot and humid!
Joe was not only took the extra time to really look at our AC unit, but he was friendly, polite, and answered all my questions very honestly and respectfully. He explained in a way that educated me about my system and NEVER made me feel stupid for asking.

After 22 years, the original furnace and AC in our home needed to be replaced. Joe made this a very easy process. They showed up on time, laid down floor mats, cleaned up after themselves and finished the install a lot faster than I thought it would be. After the work was completed, he walked around to all the equipment to make sure we were satisfied with his work and then walked me through the process of setting up the manufacturing warranty. I will definitely be recommending Joe and his team to those that need his services!

We had an issue and Joe came out at 830 pm and gave us a couple options. We decided on a full replacement. The next morning they were out bright and early. They completed the job efficiently. He gave us a lot of education on the new furnace. Very thankful.

I just wanted to say what a truly professional operation Off the Hook is. I have been having significant health problems over the last several years, in October I started having an issue with my furnace, it was working but not very well (and making a lot of noise). From past experience I expected I’d get put on someone’s schedule a week or two out however Joe came out right away. He didn’t just fix the existing problem, he noticed something else was getting weak and said although it was working now it likely wouldn’t make it through the winter. He said he’d have to go pick up the part and would come back the next day to install it. This was on a Friday which meant he’d be doing this on Saturday, I said as long as it’s working how about…

He stopped me and said, “It’s not a problem, I work 7 days a week anyhow, I don’t want you to put it off then have it go out in January because that’s when we are really busy and it could take a while for us to get to you.”

FYI-I did have that happen, about 10 years ago we had a bitter January cold streak and with our furnace working overtime it went out, on the weekend no less. My wife and I started calling around but all the crews were working almost around the clock. I finally found a guy that after explaining what the symptoms were knew exactly what it was, said it was an easy fix I could do myself and he would meet me on #169 to give me the part. I was lucky that time, but I wouldn’t want to do it again.

But the real bonus, HE DIDN’T CHARGE ME ANYTHING EXTRA! When I started to protest he said, “We like to take care of our customers.” In this day of questionable customer service you are OUTSTANDING!!! Thank you...Jim V

We had a weird request and not only did Joe work after hours and communicate with my husband solutions to help fix our heating issue, He and his wife gave us the small town feel with big town education. Joe was fantastic to work with. I called him out to service my AC unit on one of the hottest days of the year. He was over within an hour and was able to fix the issue. I had him back out a few weeks later to completely replace the unit, which was original to my house. He gave me a great price and took the initial service fee off the cost. Great communication and timely service, I highly recommend Off The Hook! Heating & Air!

Had Joe out this past weekend as my furnace was not working properly. He did try to walk through it via phone with me, but we determined it would be easier to come out and look. He was out within the hour at the drop of a hat. He determined the issue very quickly, and was able to successfully fix the unit while explaining why this happened. Overall, super happy with my decision to call compared to other companies. Will be using him again in the future, as he was awesome and pricing was beyond fair!

We prolonged a slow re-accuring problem as long as we could. Our furnace finally said it had enough.

Joe came out last Friday to diagnose our furnace. He was thorough and very up front about the current problem and what could be done to fix it. With the age of the furnace, we decided on a new unit along with a matching AC unit. Joe answered all calls and questions professionally, along with giving advice to a couple that know very little. Our whole experience was great! Our AC unit was unrepairable and the quotes we got from other companies seemed really high so we reached out and Joe was able to come out and gave us a quote within a few days and had everything installed within a few more days. I would highly recommend them for any HVAC work, they are fast affordable and very easy to work with.

SMP is definitely my go to place for all my heating and air needs. Joe and his team did a phenomenal job from start to finish.

Air went out on a Thursday night, SMP was out the next day to diagnose. Told me I have a significant leak, got me going again for the night, unfortunately only lasted a few hours. Shot Joe a text Saturday asking when his next available install date was... he replied, "how's Monday sound"? Joe and his team was on time and very proficient at installing both the central air and furnace. Left the house clean and cool with a very satisfied customer.

I messaged in about a sporadic loud humming noise from our A/C unit, and instead of sending someone out just to bill me a trip charge and likely not be able to recreate the sound, they took the time to call me and explain what was most likely going on. They walked me through the possibility of the compressor failing, gave me realistic expectations for what to plan for, and advised me to use the next several months given the current weather to research and save before summer, when the unit will be working hard again.

They could have easily come out and charged me today or attempted to push me to do this right away, but instead they were upfront and looked out for our best interest. That kind of honesty is rare in many industries, and it’s exactly why I would trust them when it comes time to replace our unit.

After waiting weeks for Home Service Plus to fix my AC and give me a quote on replacing my furnace and ac knowing it was needed, I called Off The Hook. They were there within a few hours and not only fixed my ac, they did it for free if they could quote my replacement. After getting 3 other quotes from other companies and seeing they didn't compare to not only the price Off The Hook provided, the time frame was less than a week. Needless to say, I went with Off The Hook. They were so friendly, knowledgeable, and quick in getting my new furnace and ac in. Highly recommend using Off The Hook!!
