Getting rid of a dead spruce in an awkward location in my backyard had been on my “to do” list for years — along with the removal of a large invasive Burning Bush and Honeysuckle. Ben Heller with Hiawatha Tree Service was an excellent choice for the job. He came in with a cherry-picker, over my garage from the back alley so he didn’t have to disturb any of my gardens. It was amazingly fast & efficient. I asked him to leave the snag for birds & insects and it looks great in my yard. The Burning Bush and Honeysuckle are being replaced by Serviceberry & Redbud trees — all part of my native garden master plan. Ben’s prices were better than anyone else & his service, friendliness & professionalism were outstanding. 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I highly recommend Hiawatha Tree. We had a very large section of an old elm tree fall on our yard house and garage from recent storms. Ben was out quickly to give us a quote, and had the best price of the three bids we received. They were out the next day with a crane, got everything removed without further damage and before they finished they thoroughly raked our yard and left it pristine.

Ben and Justin can do an incredible amount of work with the equipment Ben has. Ben’s cleanup after the job has been finished is outstanding. His attention to detail is second to none. Him and his son Justin are a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend. Very good people.

Ben and his team did an incredible job on removing our two massive trees from start to finish. He was easy to communicate with, always called me back, answered all my questions, and was very thorough with information. I can't say enough good things about Ben and his son! Wow! They removed my giant Silver Maple (80-100+ years old) that had damaged my house multiple times. Ben was friendly, thorough, and able to schedule conveniently. The whole process was so amazing to watch! They really have it down to an art. They were on time and professional, and just all around great folks to work with. I don't have any other trees on my property 🤣 but if I did I would absolutely hire them again! They were recommended to me by neighbors and I can see why! Thank you!

We received excellent service from Ben and his son for removal of 3 - 40 - 50 foot trees from our yard. They bent over backwards to accommodate our tight construction schedule and some difficult physical obstacles to work around. As a team they made the work itself appear effortless. Their clean-up was impeccable. We are so grateful for the work they did for us and highly recommend them!

Curt was great! I called him to ask about a stump removal in my front yard and he was able to come out the same afternoon to take care of it. It'll make mowing quite a bit easier now.

I contacted Marty's Stump removal for a bid at my business on 7 trees removed due to Xcel cutting them down because of proximity issues. Stumps ranged in diameter from 9-16". I worked with Curt who is a great communicator and timely. They came out and did the work when they said, did it exactly as quoted and the process was simple, honest and I would hire them again and recommend for anyone needing their services.

We had Marty and his team grind two stumps for us. They did an excellent job, including clean-up. Filled in the holes with black dirt, seeded and put down straw. Their prices are very reasonable, too. Highly recommend! Thanks Marty and crew!
